I know that the multiplayer sucks on the portal but how well does it performs while playing zombies with friends?
Hello portal users, I had a question I wanted to ask. Has anyone tried playing FIFA on their portal, what was the experience like? Was the input delay bad? Was the experience unplayable? Please do let me know as I’m really close to buying a portal and I hope I can play fifa on it without any issues. Thanks in advance!
I rarely play on the tv and I was debating on getting it but not sure how good the gameplay would be. I have a pretty good connection but have yet to play online shooters.
With how long the portal has been out has someone modded it to have back buttons/ paddles at all. Something like that seems complicated but would be really nice.
I was a little worried all my button mashing would kill my Portal buttons but this baby was durable as all hell during those strenuous boss fights. It looked great after I put the game in performance mode instead of fidelity. So cool to be zipping around the city at 6 am today in bed. This thing serves a very specific purpose for me!
I'm now onto Life Is Strange Double Exposure..
My portal works fine at home. But when using it out with hotspot or wifi the resolutions bad and keeps disconnecting. Bought a portal to use it if im away from home but I cant even get it to work and stuck bringing extra luggage.
Is something wrong with my portal? Can this be fixed?
When yall first get your Portal, remember to always play it until it dies form the first charge. Then charge it. Turn it on again. Connect to the internet 🛜,all over again, then restart it. That’s what fixed my lag issue and stuff. Thank you & Goodnight.
Has anyone played Planet Coaster on the Portal? If so, is it playable?
Also, is anyone planning to play Planet Coaster 2 on the Portal?
I have searched the sub Reddit. Connected my iPhone hotspot as instructed Set up port forwarding as instructed And set up static ip as instructed Works great at home but won’t even connect with hotspots, even public WiFi won’t connect to the ps5
What gives.
I'm thinking about buying a portal but idk if it'll work the way I want it to. My PS5 fell from a distance some time ago and the hdmi port is absolutely destroyed. I'm wondering if I need my ps5 to display to the TV for initial setup or something. Anyone known if it'll work without any actions on the console itself. Thanks in advance
Been wanting one and of course seeing these posts broke down and purchased one!😊
I would like to purchase a portal for travel, problem is I don’t have a PS5. My son has one that he plays all the time in the basement. Can I get a portal, load games onto it from his PS5 and travel with it? Any issues with this?
I’m not really a gamer but there’s certain games I love.
Thanks for the input!
When I am on the PS five directly, I like playing destiny. I would play that on the portal, but it’s just… Not there. It’s nice though because I can play games like Baldur’s gate three on the portal and I wouldn’t normally play those types of games. That said does anybody have a great time playing first person shooters on portal? Am I missing something?
Been enjoying my portal for the past week or so. Can’t wait to travel with it. Til then, the porch will suffice
this honestly exceeded my expectations
I have airpods, and also Sony MX5 headphones can I connect one of the them? Also, do I have to be connected to wifi? Or is it possible playing on the train / outside with phone Hotspot?
Hey everybody, I’m debating on getting a portal and I was wondering what everybody’s experience is with it. How’s the games play on it (I play mostly offline sports games and dbz speaking zero offline). Do you need to be on the same network as your ps5?! Do you need your ps5 in rest mode all the time so if you are on vacation and the power trips and turns off your ps5 is your portal now useless or is the portal independent of the ps5?! Any experiences/words of wisdom would be great. Thanks everybody.
I’m playing through AW2 and loving it, but have recently switched to playing on the PS Portal and cannot for the life of me easily access the mind place/ writers room as the touch pad seems to be badly mapped to the portal screen. Anyone else have this issue/ a work around?
Love my portal, it gives me more access to my Playstation when others in the house are using the tv.
2 big and strange flaws though are the lack of bluetooth connection to headphones other then the playstation brand. And the lowest volume setting still is pretty loud.
What are you liking/disliking
Looking forward to being able to do more gaming more often!!! I've been wanting to buy a Portal for awhile!
