A little about me - I work in finance and that’s an absolute yawnfest so I’ll try and not bore you with that, in my free time I enjoy going on walks, photography, photo editing - definitely a work in progress hobby but hopefully I’ll get there one day. I like the usual things that everyone puts - travelling, music, films, YouTube hopping and of course the occasional beer! I enjoy watching hockey although it’s been a while since I’ve been to a game. Well it us a dreary, drizzly Saturday and I figured I would just write a first message to YOU, the reader, whoever you may be. It’s probably as good as any other first message I might write, given we never know much of anything about each other to start with. Although it’s quite late I think I’ll try and make some homemade french toast sticks with caramel for dessert. I know I did it once before and it turned out nicely, but I can’t remember whatever made up proportions I used for a recipe unfortunately. I should try to keep a recipe book, but I always (wrongly) believe if I was able to successfully improvise something once I ought to be able to do it again. Do you have any favorite recipes? My parents were never much for cooking, so most my childhood food nostalgia is focused on your typical mix of 90s junkfood like lunchables and whatnot (loved the pizza, hated the deli meats).

So like I said in the title, I created a Reddit account because my dad has been alone for seven years now after getting out of a mentally abusive marriage. His ex-wife is now engaged and it's getting to him, and his birthday is May 12th, Mother's Day of course. I'd go back and invest in stocks earlier, work odd jobs, etc. so that when I was of age, I could do a kinship adoption of my siblings. We all deserved a better life and as much as the burden weighs on me and has weighed on me since I was like 13, I have been the only one capable of creating a better life for them.

You're at a party and accidentally spill your drink on the host's pet llama. How do you smooth things over? Well obviously the only choice is for me and the llama to become best friends and drink the night away together, creating mayhem, mischief, and of course taking lots of photos together.

You discover a hidden treasure map in your backyard. What's your plan to find the treasure? Probably look at the map. Try to figure out what's going on and where the treasure could be. Then head onto ChatGPT and type out my thoughts and ideas, and see where things go from there.

Your best friend turns out to be an alien from another planet. How do you react? I'd be really chill about it. People have things they don't wanna talk about for various reasons. If I found out, I would check in with them and make sure they're okay with me knowing about it, and then sit down and just talk with them. See if they want to tell me more or not.

You're stranded on a deserted island with only a talking coconut for company. What do you name the coconut and how do you pass the time? If it's a talking coconut, I am sure it can decide its own name and identity. I'd ask them about themselves, how long they'd been there, ask how they pass the time, what their thoughts, feelings, etc. were and if they preferred to be alone or to hang out on the island together.

If you could have any mythical creature as a pet, what would it be and why? A Unicorn. They like to help and heal and having a horse that's magical sounds pretty cool. Selkies could be cool too, but all that shedding of their skin could be messy.

You accidentally turn invisible for a day. How do you make the most of it without getting into trouble? Hmmm am I invisible but still have my normal bodily functions? Like my muscles give out, my legs and back hurt, etc.? If not, then I would just go for a walk around the city. Hang out, people watch, and enjoy the weather.

Which one do you choose and what adventures do you embark on? I'd go into Final Fantasy 8 and walk around, hang out with people, and play a ton of Triple Triad. If you were to create your own holiday, what would it celebrate and how would people celebrate it? If I were to create my own holiday, it would celebrate creativity and imagination. Let's call it "Inspiration Day. "Inspiration Day would be a day dedicated to unleashing creativity, embracing imagination, and celebrating the beauty of innovative thinking. It would be a paid National holiday, so no one would have to work that day and they'd still get paid 1.5x.

M 30’s living in a large city in England, one of my favorite hobbies with a f friend is to chat in cafes and observe people, whether it is couples or singles. 3. Be an okay person - I felt the need to add something about character but I understand that humans are complex so there's no need for me to spout any puritanical BS about being a good person, just be a decent human being overall - flaws taken into account.
