I'm off on a journey to find a player 2, I have tried the IRL stuff but due to my distain for social gatherings or going out on the town I can say it has been a failure. I'm just a homebody introvert who would rather game or binge shows all day than go out. Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. It rained through most of it here, but I still had a good time. Brewery hopping isn't too dependant on the weather :)

Elder emo here - never grew out of the black tshirts and dramatic lyrics. I still go to shows, and enjoying screaming. Everyone thought it wouldn't leave the mid-2000s, but here we are. The only difference is, it takes time to recover now. I saw Thursday over the weekend, and it was incredible!

My tastes have evolved a bit. I do listen to a lot of reggae now, too. Maybe that's living close to the beach, and enjoying relaxing. Oh, and I don't listen to any "new" pop punk or emo bands. Strictly 2000s.

I watch a lot of sports too - I'm so happy baseball is back!! But I also love hockey and college basketball. If I don't have a game on, then I'm watching a true crime doc, or binging a show on Netflix or HBO.

The weekend just draggs on... So much free time. I'm constantly torn betewen having to do something, or do nothing. The liberty is so stressful. Weekends are just awful.. way too stressful.

Ahhh, but the work week... what a beautiful thing. There is strucutre, beautiful stucture. Your expectations are measured, your tasks alll set before you. You almost always know what to do during the work week. You know where you are supposed to go, what work needs to be done, and who you need to do it for. Then, you do it, you come home and you feel so accomplished. And, even if you are full time at home, the work week is still better than the weekend! Think about your family messing up your whole daily order on the weekends. You totally have a rythym and the weekend just messes it up.
