Hello!
I 30F live in Namibia and I used to participate in snailmail with some people from a group on Facebook. I loved the idea so much! BUT, one of my letters I received FOUR years later?!!! My penpal asked if we were still in lockdown. 🤣 I felt so crushed that it takes mail so long to reach me, that I just don't want to do it anymore.
So, what I'd like to know is, do you know of a legit subreddit for penpals over email? I'd love to try that!
Thank you for your time! 🤗
Letter I recently made :) The bunnies are reactions ro the Text/ my expressions to the things I wrote about.
I am a huge perfectionist and I don’t know what to write in my introduction letters despite having lots of penpals what do you suggest? Anything helps
Im sending out an internal letter from the US to Denmark. I’ve never sent an international letter over an ounce. I know for once ounce or less, I can just use a global forever stamp. But what about a letter that is 1.5 ounces? Since its international, do I need another global stamp? Or can I use a regular US extra ounce stamp? Or even a US regular forever stamp?
Or is there a site I can find this out? The USPS site wasnt much help.
It's a seal stick I got from my grandma. It doesn't have the candle wick, wax seals have. My grandma says it's not a wax seal but another type of seal. The consistency is wayyy harder, it almost feels like a plastic stick
Here's a video where I make my most recent letter!

hi ! im new to the penpaling community and i always see some lovely decorated envelopes but i am a little curious as to where everyone places the addresses? i always see on pictures the person’s name and never a space for addresses so i was just wondering how u all do it :0
is it just for photos and then u add them later? or do u put the decorated envelope in another one? also are there limitations from the post office on how much you can decorate?
Ive done email penpals but I want to step up my game what should I do?
Hi guys, I'm so sorry if this is not the correct sub to make this question.
I just wanted to know how did you meet your penpals? I usually read r/penpals and want to make a post there, as I am really interested in snail mail, but I'm a bit scared of giving away my address :(
A PO box is not possible for me either ;_;
How's your experience been? Has anyone had any trouble giving their address away, such as finding out their penpal is not who they say they are or something like that?
Thanks for reading :)
(If this is not the correct sub to post this, tell me and I'll delete it, thanks)
