They are basically begging for trade offers on pick 11. What do we realistically think it would take? Haag and a 3rd?

Looking forward to all the rumors and such between now and this time week. Hopefully we can get a dance partner or 2 and improve our club. I do have faith that Management will be active and improve our roster, not just making a trade to make a trade.

Has anyone heard when the Flyers end of year sale is going to be at the Wells Fargo Center? I keep waiting for the email but nothing is being sent.

Genuinely curious what players you think the Flyers could realistically pick up or deal for in the offseason.

So obviously last year Vegas became the new fastest "expansion team" to win a Cup. That should have an asterisk (just like Brodeurs single season win record with added shootouts) but I digress.

To my knowledge, only 1 SKATER (as in non-goalie) from the losing team has won the Conn Smythe for playoff MVP. That would be the Flyers Reggie Leach in 1976 for scoring the most goals in a single playoffs. Ever. Even up until now. Funny that this is NEVER MENTIONED ANYWHERE EVER right?

Whatever. Anyway, after McDavid's performance (and Bob's) these past two games I'm pretty sure the Oil could be kept to 1 goal and we'd still see McDavid win the Conn Smythe.

So we should all root for the Oilers to win right? Admittedly it makes 2010 Bruins Round 2 slightly less exciting, but the Kings sort of ruined that for us a few years afterwards anyway. So let's go Oilers. Let us keep this EXTREMELY special fun fact.

PS. The Flyers have made it to 8 Cup Finals. We won the first two and lost the next 6. (MTL, NYI, EDMx2, DET, CHI) But we as a franchise have won 4 Conn Smythes with Bernie x2, Leach and Hextall.

So I’ve been doing a lot of thinking. What if they were able to get giroux to sign on a deal that’s really great for the team. Hell, I think he might even take league minimum because the flyers are so great with vibes. Do you think that Danny would go for it, and why should he be out of a job if he doesn’t sign G in the offseason this year?

We have been so bad and mediocre from(pretty much) 2012 to now and if you grew up during those years odds are you are not a hockey fan unless you were born into a hockey family.

Winning builds lifelong fans especially when the fans are kids and we just didn’t have that for a whole decade and that equates to essentially a whole generation of fans not existing.

The Hockey Season lives on with the Oilers taking a commanding win in Game 4 to send the series back to Florida. We are now also less than 2 weeks away from the NHL draft (rebuilding team Christmas as I like to call it) and about a week away from when the "true" NHL offseason is going to begin.
