I’m desperate for help if anyone could give me stimpaks or water pls my character is dying and I can’t go on a quest without dying every time
Since emotes are kinda the only way for many of us to communicate in this game, I would also like to hear your ideas for new emotes as well.
But after reading a few posts in here about some experiencing "Toxic" behaviour in the game, when I experience these encounters, I think to myself, 🤔 I'd really like an emote like Shang Tsung's Friendship.
I'm twisted that way, but other players could use it to show they're not hostile or scary to low levels. Some big brute in a T65 comes barrelling towards you with a Plasma Gat, stops....
🖐️🤪🤚 FRIENDSHIP!!
Been using a 3 star legendary revolver lately and it feels like it’s been breaking on me sooner than it did when i acquired it. The one thing I am constantly running out of is Adhesive. I scrap my junk that has it and check my inventory and it’s gone. Am i doing something wrong? Is there somewhere I can go to find it in abundance I already know about the digestive goo but seems like it takes forever looking for the weird plants.
I've just started playing, and I'd like to use Power Armor with a shotgun, but people have said that it's not a very viable build, as the best option is to use a heavy weapon. Do you agree with this?
I've never crashed to desktop before in this game and I've been playing since launch. Is anyone else noticing this? It's only happened in the Cranberry Bog location for me, but it's a total shutdown. No server disconnect or anything. Happens after the second siphon starts.
I feel every armor type and weapon type deserves a Vault Tec skin. Boots and gloves can be black. The chest and other armor parts blue with yellow trim and vault tec belt design. I want to buy vault tec skins for weapons, armors and power armor. I want more vault tec base stuff and base skins.
I have 11S, 4P, 4E, 4C, 15I, 1A, 7L (11 points left over, and not sure where to allocate them) I just don't know what all perks affect it, it's classes as heavy guns, but do the explosive and energy perks affect it as well? I plan on using the hellcat PA and choosing related perks as well. I'm also not sure about running a bloodied build
Which one do I buy or do I not buy any at all? There's like 4 different types and I'm just not sure which one makes the most sense.
Thanks
I recently bought a plan for a gauss rifle. I wanted to make the weapon and i saw that its gonna be a lvl 35 gauss rifle. Is it because im level 31? Do i need to wait to lvl 50 before i learn gun plans so that the guns are also lvl 50? And how about armour?
Hi I have been using the enclave plasma flamer which is great, but it uses up too much ammo and has shit range. Does anyone know of an alternate weapon that kills just as quickly but from a distance?
I purchased FO 1st last night but when I logged on it wasn’t on my account. I saw a post that said it could take a while so I slept on it, got an email this morning to say my subscription is active but when i log on its still not there?
Does it typically take longer than a day to apply?
Five times I've tried to play the Invaders from Beyond event and every time my game has frozen or crashed.
This doesn't happen for me with any other event. I've tried to quit and come back but the game won't load me back into the event so I just miss out.
This happen for anyone else?
I've been playing on and off for the past year or so and finally decided to spec out a build. I'm not sure how I'll go with the armour legendaries but that'll just be something I slowly chip away at. I've popped the link below if you want to check it out.
I know power armour can be buggy at the best of time, but I can't seem to place mine in a station without it bugging and being unable to access/fix ect. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, its been going in for days. I'm playing on PC
So I haven't actually finished the first quest in the main story.. I still have to talk to the two people stood by v76
However I'm 65 hours in around level 60 (spent alot of time camp building.. spent wayyyy too much real money NGL) and I've "beat" the 3 nuke bosses, full set of unyielding yada yada..
So like.. am I really missing out on not doing the main quest? (Like I will do it eventually.. but is there any real urgency to it?)
Up to lvl 50 I did rifleman 3x3 perks but after 50-60ish noticed my damage being insufficient. Switched to big guns and going 50cal/mg42 ~70dmg per shot. Still have rifleman perks left so I can oneshot ~300dmg with blackpowder weapons mostly for fun. I can solo expeditions and events with mgs without dying often times. Still wonder if my dps could be significantly better? Bloodied perks? Am I doing this game properly or missing something?
I just started playing and it’s been pretty fun so far. I’m level 8. I’ve got 1 friend to play with and we both use that party bonus charisma perk for extra XP. Just wondering if there’s anything I should know going forward. I know a lot has changed since launch so I’m not sure if the older guides are still accurate.
So, i got a microsoft store key from a friend and downloaded the game. On startup it says "Welcome" then bluescreens. I tried the common fixes but theyre all for the steam version. Nothing works, ill try updating my drivers then try again. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
I've picked this game up after I first tried it on launch and again a few months/year later, it's definitely more enjoyable playing, but I'm still wondering if what I'm running into is normal or not.
After creating a new character, I was having some issues with sound and restarted my game, and suddenly II was teleported out of vault 76, now I hear you get the option inside the vault to pick for a level 20 char if you want. But it seems my game skipped this and teleported me outside at level 1 right away. Did I miss anything special in the vault?
I live in the Netherlands, my internet connection it absolutely perfect, but I'm still experiencing lag in combat and looting, sometimes being teleported back or enemies fading in and out of location.
Another issue I found is when I enable vats, my mouse stops working. I can still shoot, but that's, but it, I can't move it around anymore.
Last thing might be a more serious bug, I was in some cult cave and when I tried to open a lock (lock picking) my game became unresponsive, couldn't escape out of it or do anything, still saw the background/game move around so it didn't freeze but was total stuck and had to force quit the game.
Hey All, Longtime fallout player but first time on 76. Been really enjoying the game this week but have some questions if someone has the time to answer.
I know they all have variety of stats but I’m wondering if the differences are major or marginal. I’ve always loved the X-01 set and want to know if that will put me at a big disadvantage verse Hellcat or another.
I’ve been using a plasma rifle but that’s starting to slow down now that I’m in the mid 60s. Have Science X 3 and Commando X 3. Are there other combos that work well? Don’t really want to use vats.
I finished off the Overseer/Scorched questline because that one felt like it had to take place first. Do the other expansions reference each other or are they stand alone?
I’ve been farming the alien event as it comes up but I’ve started getting dupes of schematics. Want to see if I’ve got all possible rewards but don’t know how.
Any answers are appreciated.
Hey I started playing FO76 about 2 weeks ago. I am level 180 and SCORE rank 52. I was wondering is it possible to reach rank 150 before season ends with boosters and fallout first since there are no repeatable tasks after rank 100.
I am really interested in these rank 150 unlimited items but don't wanna waste my time if it is kinda impossible.
i saw a guy selling multiple alien operating bed plans for 7k each(pc) is it too much? as i would really like to get one
So as title says I’m a new player. Currently level 42. I’ve been doing lots of side quests, public events and whatever else I come across. I’ve just started doing the BOS quest line and all of a sudden it’s feels like my weapons are just not doing enough damage and I’m running out of Stims rapidly. I’ve got the plan to make them but I just doing have the materials. Any advice is appreciated :)
My character sometimes doesn‘t move when i‘m in buildings. Does anyone have a solution for this?
When I change to 3rd person it helps sometimes.
Making an explosive heavy character and I'm just not to sure if stabilized works or not any help would be amazing thanks :)
I picked this game up on sale last month and have been absolutely loving it. My friends and I have been no lifeing a little too hard maybe. But my god is the ammo converter process painful! I really don't understand why it couldn't be a simple vendor UI where you sell ammo for points and then buy ammo with the points....
I got the responders fireman helmet and wondering what it's value is.
Note: This is not about the (plentifull) damage bufs of the bloody build, but about the surviveability. Also I might get some things wrong, feel free
I'll take my build as an example: Lets start with restiances. At the moment mine are:
Note that this is way higher than the cap most people go for, which is 300-350 (as after that diminishing returns start to happen, tho that doesn't mean DR / ER is useless, just that each new point in it is slightly weaker than the last). I just like the numbers to be above 500. Also note that some enemies ignore DR / ER.
Also note that all of these are, and this is the most important, rolled for the 1*Legendary "Unyielding" effect. This gives you +3 SPeCIAL (except Endurance) points per piece when you are at <20% health for +15 to all special points (but endurance).
This is achieved by:
This is combined with (in my case) 393 health (mostly gotten by endurance and the lifegiver perk). 393*20%= 78.6 health, so with rads I'm somewhere between 70 and 78 health usually.
Now perk cards kick in to further reduce the damage:
But what is better than reducing the damage? Not taking it at all obviously. And here two luck cards kick in:
Add to this [Born survivor 1] (Agi) (takes a stimpack when you get damage and are below 20%, bit buggy as it sometimes takes stimpacks randomly) and healing factor mutation (heals you when you aren't hungry) and you are practically at "max" health all the time.
Example
Now lets take a look at a Level 100 Prime behemoth hitting us. We have 75 HP.
Note: I'm not deeply familiar with the damage calculation system in fallout 76 and there might be some errors in here in the order of which certain effects are applied, but it can still serve as an example
=> 45% of all melee / 53% of all Ranged attacks are simply ignored
=> 100 damage coming in.
While ranged attacks don't get the additional 45% reduction from blocker or fireproof, these are usually much lower Damage-Per-Shot, therefore your DR / ER kicks in a lot higher and reduces the damage a lot more.
Example 2
Lets take another example with a ranged attack dealing 50 damage and compare a player at full health and no reduction perks vs a bloodied player. We'll give both of them 250 DR (low for both of them), reducing the 50 damage by 72% => 13.9 damage per shot
Note: a DR of 500 would reduce the damage to 10.8 damage / shot.
Full Health player: 378 HP => 28 (27.19) shots until this player is dead. (DR of 500 would put this to 35 shots. DR of 0 to 8 shots)
Bloodied Player (75 HP)
Interpretation of the results
On a strict "Shots to kill" basis a full health player is still better off (28 shots VS 23 Shots) - this changes once you adapt real-gameplay to it tho. You won't get all these 23 / 28 shots at once, but over a timeframe of X. In that timeframe you can heal yourself, for example with stimpacks. A stimpacks first, short burst will restore 20% of your max health over 2sec - so both the Full health and the bloody build would get ~75 hp back.
For the full health build these are another 3 shots it can take.
For the bloodied build it is full health => Another 23 shots.
All that beeing said: Sometimes you just get onehitted, you get used to it, death penalty is practically not existing *shrug*
I made my first tips and tricks video. I based it on some questions I had when I first started out. I am hoping it could be useful to someone that is new to FO76 as well!
Let me know what you think!
