I recently hopped on Fallout 3 on my Xbox SX and found out that game runs suprisingly well and the graphics looked much better than on Xbox 360 version. I searched why and revealed that the game actually got an update for Xbox One X. Later on I decided to play New Vegas and it didn't look that good because it never got a patch.
I wonder why because the games run on the same engine, share the same assets and generally they had to do simmilar work. As I can understand on Fallout 3 they just simply configured the game settings to match PC Ultra.
Is it possible to somehow contact Bethesda and ask them to change some strings in .ini file?
I'd really like to kill them for their loot.
Also, the dictation on my phone made an oopsie, I'm vilified by both sides.
So I've been exploring out of bounds in new vegas. I have found the M.Johnson(random number sequence quest) I cannot get back into bounds. I guess I'm stuck out here. 🤣 I'm gonna keep looking around for anything. Though it's big and really empty.
i dont have much sneak but i have pickpocketed before. im trying to do the mission where i find evidence that the crimson caravan and the van graffs are criminals. but i keep getting caught pickpocketing when it says im hidden. how do i solve this?
Quick Benny pencil drawing
I want to play it at work but need a way to hide it if someone comes by lol. I tried ticking the option in the launcher but it remains full screen, just with massive black bars on the sides. Is there any solution to this?
So as many of you probably know, Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition has a certain reputation of being volatile on the PS3, I've played all other Bethesda PS3 GOTY/GOTY equivalents with minimal problems, Skyrim Legendary Edition running the worst. My question is, if all the other Bethesda games run decent on my system, How will New Vegas's Ultimate Edition fare?
I just bought it, I'm still waiting for it's arrival and I'm kinda nervous about how it's gonna turn out.
If I had an alternative I definitely wouldn't have gotten it on the PS3, but I don't. And now, I'm dreading the outcome.
I tried playing vanilla, but the over the shoulder camera, ugly models, and quite frankly dated gameplay, not to mention the bugs that make certain perks just not work...
Anyway, I downloaded the fix mods, some textures, lighting, tweaks, and a couple others like smoking cigarettes and now it's probably my favorite game to play now. Even more than Skyrim and Fo4
The tweaks bring the playability closer to Skyrim like scaling with the skill for lockpicking rather than being locked out. Fo4 still locks you out, though...
I also prefer the how SPECIAL, skills, and perks of New Vegas interplay vs. the simpler "I can do everything eventually" that Skyrim and Fo4 offer. The settlement building in 4 is great, but the elimination of skills and simplified unlimited leveling is... boring. I like the limitation on the courier. Even the meticulous character planning needed in NV. It turns your character into an actual character instead of some master of all trades fantasy.
People are defined by their strengths as well as their weaknesses. And as your planned out character grows it feels more like an accomplishment in Vegas.
So i love using unarmed in New Vegas and I normally take Heavy Handed. But would it be better to spec into a Luck/Crit build? I normally like having higher luck in New Vegas for Crits and the Casinos.
There's nothing at the airport except robots and radscorpions, you can't enter any of the buildings and there's no loot whatsoever except the stuff you get from the aforementioned NPCs.
Vault 19 is pretty-much useless aside from maybe player housing, but all you get out of it are a quest where you kill fire geckos and get the escaped convicts initiated into the Great Khans. It has no baring on the game and it's so out of the way that I've only come across it twice. There is loot, but it's the same stuff you find in every other Vault. No unique weapons or Star caps anywhere.
The only mention of Camp Commandant belongs to Maj. Polati of Forlorn Hope, where is this mentioned FNV and what distinction does it have from a Camp C.O.?
Just updated vortex and FNV is no longer available on vortex. I just tried to look for it and well I can’t find it. Anyone else having this issue? Kinda had a good 128 mod list going
Currently playing FNC, and have trouble with companions, they get into fights all the time, it really makes on my nerves how they attack all the bloatflies in mile radius. But the worst part - there's big (really big) combat scenes with lots of enemies, which respawn, and companions will not go anywhere until they kill everyone. I have to leave them somewhere far from combat, but sometimes, when i need to get somewhere, they still engage in combat that they can't win.
My question is - is there a mod, which can command all companions "Drop everything you do and get to me NOW!", to get them out of combat immediately, or "Stop attacking everything you see", because option to be peaceful doesn't work for them for some reason
