Since learning about Arkansas's story, I've been sympathetic, and wished I could non-aggro him, and I just found out you can!

If you enslave him, then go to Paradise Falls and free him, he won't be hostile to you anymore, and he'll go back to Minefield. He'll be hostile to everyone else tho, so if you wanna free the other slaves, free 'em before you free Arkansas, and only free Arkansas once all the other slaves are gone. Breadbox and that other one who doesn't leave will probably be killed by Arkansas. They clearly didn't hire a voice actor for Arkansas, because if you talk to him, he'll have text as tho he's talking, but no voice will actually be heard. He thanks you for freeing him and says he's going to the Temple of the Union to help free more slaves, but he actually just goes back to Minefield

Basically I tried to use console commands in order to get the winterized Chinese armor and commando hat from operation Anchorage. However everytime I try to it says it was gifted to me but when I open my inventory it didn’t show up. I have the dlc installed and idk what to do. I tried to also spawn in some of the operation Anchorage Chinese soldiers however they would appear then immediately disappear after I exited the console command menu

I just wanted to find out if you can buy a house like in Skyrim or if can atleast claim a house etc.

I finished tenpenny tower letting both humans and ghouls live tbere, and he’s been at the front desk before. Now, no matter what I try, he’s nowbere to be found. Does anybody know his Schedule, or better yet main locations? (I accidentally sold him the Gauss Rifle.)

I am planning to grab almost perfect at level 30 and then double back and grab every bobble head available. However I’m kind of nervous about accidentally locking myself out of that as I’m doing anchorage rn and it seems very easy to lock yourself out of the special perk by missing an intel. I just want to know if there are any quests I should avoid triggering if I want to get every single bobble head and end up with a special of 10?

Could someone explain to me why this is?

I didn't do any research on this exploit, just figured it out dicking around killing raiders in the Pitt last night. Wearing the Chinese stealth suit, you can pick them off and they won't know where you are unless you fuck up, but all the slave bosses will go hostile. That is until you pop a stealth boy. Doing so immediately returns all the raiders to green status. Kill raider, everyone aggros, pop stealth boy, nobody realizes it was you. Crazy crazy

Edit, you probably have to remain hidden for this to work. If anyone explicitly sees you shoot another raider I have no clue if it still works

I left him to wait in megaton house with dogmeat, I had a message after a few in game days that dogmeat was waiting outside Vault 101. I go retrieve him no issues. Return to Megaton and RL-3 isn't there anymore, neither is he at Canterbury Common.

I've waited a few game days to allow time for RL-3 to get there and still no joy. Where is he as I want a new companion but can't find that damn gutsy baaaasterd!! I have never had this issue before in my other playthroughs.

Hey y'all, this isn't my first playthrough of Fallout 3 but this is the first time this has happened. I went to the Temple of the Union to do the quest Head of the State because it was one of my favorite quests from previous playthroughs. I unfortunately vaguely remember that when I showed up the temple of the union members were already fighting something? I just don't remember what but immediately when that was dealt with they turned to me and started shooting me. Like 400 saves later and over 10 levels later I realized after trying almost everything in the book along the lines of leaving the mesmetron in my house, not taking companions etc,...that Hannibal Hamlin was nowhere to be found. While I was getting shot up by the other members I strolled around the place and yea. He's just not there, and that Caleb was low health likely from the og attack.

I'm way way way too far in the game at this point to remotely consider going back that far but I assume there is legit no way to complete the quest with Hannibal gone? 🥲🥲 I did not hurt him or any of the members so man this feels really damn unfair but...🥲🥲

It’s been amazing playing fallout 3 again! My only one complaint is I still really need a couch table so I don’t have to balance the laptop on me. With out one my chronic back pain flares up terribly. So I only get to play an hr at best.

Hey guys, so my dad is currently playing through fo3 on xbox series x, and he's requested my help with sorting out a bug. Usually I'm pretty good at this stuff, but this is such a bizarre and elusive bug idk where to start.

So the issue is, his gun won't fire at all when the trigger is pulled. It fires once when you load in, and then the only way to get the gun to fire is if you perform another action. So... if you pause the game, when you unpause the gun will fire. If you access the pipboy or jump, the gun will fire, etc.

For melee weapons it's just constantly swinging over and over with no way to stop it.

Reloading a previous save does nothing. It isn't the controller either, since it works just fine for other games.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is the save file corrupted or what?

Playing through FO3 again, and I tried searching this up but couldn't really find any answers. Getting to Megaton, easy - if you are lucky. But the route to Rivet City? The metro is dangerous and a survival horror experience to a doctor.

Maybe your dad is a utter bad ass, but I feel like any raider would be a problem to him.

Maybe this is explained somewhere and I'm dumb, but nobody really answers this question. 😅
