Hello, I was looking up info on how to get the best ending for Fallout 1 and I noticed a lot of people said when you rescue tandi that you’re supposed to kill everyone but when I rescued her I just used speech to intimidate them. Is this going to affect the ending in any way? Should I go back and kill all the khans? Or will I still be okay? Thanks!

So I think I found my first real bug in Fallout 2. I found a NCR History holodisc in New Reno but when I click on it to download it, it says “that does nothing”. I looked it up online, the disc for sure has downloadable info on it but it wont work. Is there any workaround?

This was the entire purpose of the game, so I'm a little like ??? that I can't actually find them to deliver it?

Hello. I've played Fallout years ago and for obvious reasons, decided to play again. Unfortunately, I don't really have enough time to do multiple replays etc so I'm looking to get a perfect run.

Just wanted to clarify something. I saw a GameFAQs walkthrough saying that I need to beat the game in 88 days to get the best ending?

From what I understand from other guides, you just have to get to Necropolis within 88 days and fix their pump. Otherwise, you can do everything else after that. Just want clarify this one. Thank you.

First time playing Fallout 2.

I've walked around New Reno, went with the Wright children and walked down thinking Salvatore didn't see me. They started combat, I wasn't in the mood to reload and just moved on. NGL, I was pretty exhausted as I had to reload a save file after a glitch and just wanted to rush after replaying it a third time (yeah ...).

Now, since then I've done NCR, Vault 15, Vault 13 and pretty much cannot go back to that old save file anymore.

Is there ANY way to proceed with the Salvatore AT ALL? I am willed to do some save game editing or anything, really, I just would love to explore their quest line.

If not, what am I missing out on? Other than some cool quests, is there any unique loot?

ETA: Keeping this up for if anyone ever gets the same problem: Ive grabbed an extensive save editor and edited the Salvatore_Warning from 1 to 0. However, Mr. Salvatore refuses to give me the final quest to become a Made Man for him. I assume the map simply has me read as hostile, but at least I got to do two quests for him!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but does anyone know where to get the fo2.exe vault edition apk? It was removed from the play store and I'll happily buy it if it ever gets added back, but I really wanna play fallout et tu on my phone atm

I’m not very experienced with modding and tampering with games but I was wondering if their is a way to fix the ending slides for the followers and the hub so they show up in the ending?

Should I start with the first one or skip to 2? Is there anything special I need to do to get it to run on a new machine or will it work right off steam?

Hello guys, I’m on my first playtrough of Fallout1. I went to the raiders and started gunning everyone in the aerea, after the fight went to open the cellar where Tandi was kept and i found her dead. Now I do not have any reload prior to the fight… how much am I screwed?

I’m sure I’m like the 5000th person since yesterday to make a post like this but, I’ve been playing these games for the last 24 years, specifically the first 2, and I have never seen so much interest in them until now. I know the graphics are old and it’s not some fast-paced first person shooter but good God the writing is on point and the jokes are hilarious so they’ve always remained as favorites for me and to see people enjoying them for the first time or finally beating the games is so much fun to see, especially when it’s someone from a younger generation. I don’t know why, it just makes my old millennial ass happy

I have just got enough caps for the plasma weapons and combat armour so I went to the gun runners however when I leave that area the deathclaws instantly attack me and I can’t beat them so they just kill me but there’s no other way to leave the gun runner area and I can’t rest. Am I screwed?

Also how do I steal from people’s pockets? I can add to someone’s pocket but can’t steal do I need a perk? Which one? Cause I had a look and couldn’t figure out which one it was.

So this is kinda of a weird question but do NPCs normally have dialogue when they have the text above their head? Like a voice audio? I have the RP mod as well

Yo, im in shady sands, i spoke with everyone in the shady sands, everyone tells me go to talk to seth to take you to the cave, but he has no option in the dialogue.

Do i have to restart my game ??? Im level2 pleb.

I am on my way to fight the master and was wondering what level lockpick you should have to lockpick the doors on the way to the master. Does anyone have any advice or know how to get passed the locked doors past the first one that takes you over near the staircase?

i am very sorry if this is the wrong subreddit for this. I wish to edit the sprites of the vault suit, i wish to change the number on every single sprite of it that exists, i know basic modding from other games, if i find the directory of the sprites i can edit it and rün the game.

My question is, would it break the game to make changes to the image files that are the sprites for the vault suit, or any other sprite? Also is there any guide to this specific modding im looking for? With compiling rules to not break the game and directory locations. I have the GoG version.
