Mod idea for fence FO4

The way this fence is made with the cinderblocks and the wood I thought this would be a good mod for somebody to make, but they can always make it more scrappy like broken cinderblocks or really bad looking wood or instead of wood poles they could use stuff like broom handles and canes and and hat holders and stuff like that then it look more scrappy

[fo4] i need help with my fallout 4

hi so i have bean playing my fallout 4 with auto updates disabled since the aneversery update but i acededentaly updated it and ive managed to downgrade it but get no main menu i have bean trying for almost two months

to fix it with no sucsess i enabled archive invalidation but it still wont work can someone pleas help me

[FO4] is there a mod that creates a Bloody Mess after consuming a corpse?

Like how victims of the Bloody Mess perk turn into giblets. Is there a mod that giblifies corpses after cannibalizing them?

Is there a mod that removes the Dark Craving notification? [FO4]

You can disable all notifs using something like Def UI, but this also eliminates useful information like hydration level, hunger level, and active diseases. Is there a way to select which notifs I would like to see?

[FO4] Quest mods with lots of combat

I last played modded fo4 with several of thuggysmurfs mods a couple of years ago. I sort of agree with the consensus on how bad they are but one of them ( I think Outcasts and Remnants ) had lots of combat which I liked

Are there any newer quest mods that offer something similar?

I see sim settlements 2 has a relatively highly rated questline but it doesn't fit. I am looking at the Fens Sheriff department and america rising 2 ones as well.

Want to fit as many quest mods as I can in my next playthrough

[FO4] Better Locational Damage prevents me skullbashing dead NPC's, any solutions?

So I do this thing in my Fallout games where I bash in the skulls of Ghouls and npc's with a melee weapon to "make sure they're dead" and "save ammo" , but BLD seems to have done something with that. I looked in the MCM and there doesn't appear to be a setting to allow melee weapons to cause dismemberment.

Anyone happen to have a similar experience and have a solution for this? I'm somewhat savvy with mod tools so I'm open to that, but I'd rather just download a mod. (Wrye Bash won't detect my games for some reason though, so Wrye Bash is out of the question)

EDIT: So it turns out I wasn't playing with "Brutality Free For All" selected, the description says it "allows you to shoot off limbs with ALL weapons" So I'm gonna assume that applies to Melee weapons too. Will check back.

[FNV][TTW] Black screen in operation anchorage

after playing operation anchorage for an hour my screen goes black, i can still move shoot and interact with things but i cant see anything if i load back a save before starting the vr thing everything is fine and i can keep playing without it happening so it is exclusive to operation anchorage.

I'm aware that New Vegas Redesigned 2 is the most stable option and it is the one I've always used, but I want to change things up a bit just because. Which of this do you guys think is the most consistently good looking?

I have the Geck Extender installed for New Vegas, and I have the 'listfix' option enabled, but the text in the 'conditions' fields are still collapsed / compressed. Any suggestions?

[FNV] Can't use controller D-Pad for hotkeys after following Viva New Vegas guide?

So I got back into New Vegas yesterday after about half a year or so of not playing. Previously when I used VNV I had no issues as a controller user. But now after installing everything, my weapons only seem to "cycle" through my hotkeys when I press left or right on the D-Pad but I can't just select a specific weapon like you normally can on the D-Pad. Also changing ammo types is no longer up on the D-Pad, but pressing the reload button when full on ammo. What mod could be causing this? It's playable but really annoying not being able to select the exact weapon I want or change ammo types mid-magazine.

EDIT: Figured it out. It was VNV's INI for Stewie Tweaks. Keeping this up for anyone else who might have this issue, find this in the INI file:

; use left/right dpad to cycle weapon hotkeys bWeaponCycleUpDownHotkeys = 1

and change it to 0.

[FNV] R.A.C.E. not playing songs I added

I recently tried to set up the RACE mod, so I can create my own radio playlist. I added my songs and converted them to the right format but all I hear is a skipping sound. Did anyone else have this problem?

[FNV/TTW] Can I have 2 portable MO2 instances of different games?

I have this TTW pack with 650 mods in a portable MO2 instance. I also happen to have this Stalker Anomaly pack with around 300 mods. How can I keep both in my computer at the same time? Things go weird when I open each, tho I supposedly set every path into each self contained folder.

[Fo4] A graphical/texture issue that I'm unfamiliar with

The textures of Classic Underwear Replacer by Fried Turkey seem to be moving independently from the clothing model. I've never seen something like that happen before so I'm a little stumped.

[FO4] Stable version for modding.

Hello,

As you may know, there have always been issues with new updates and modding. Take Skyrim, for example, for which it is still suggestible to use 1.6.640 nowadays. That's why I'd like to know what the stable version of Fallout 4 is —and by stable, I mean the most compatible with mods.

[FO4] Looking for mods that inject unique weapons/armors/clothes into the game which need to be found at specific locations

Can y'all give me recommendations for mods that put their unique items in specific locations, similar to other Bethesda games. I don't want the ability to craft the items, nor do i want them to randomly appear in npc inventory, stores, or anywhere randomly generated in the over-world. Again, like an older Bethesda game: unique item in a specific location, to be found and collected through exploration and careful looting. Ive downloaded mutant menagerie and some ketaros mods to scratch this itch, but i want more. Thanks guys!

[FO4] Going in to try Fallout London, any mods recommendations?

hey all, as title says I'm gonna go and try Fallout London soon and was wondering if there are any interesting mods to use?

I'm not really looking for graphical enhancement mods, more so gameplay wise such as improved combat, melee, thirdperson camera so on so forth, I'm looking for mods that makes combat feels more weighty if that makes sense, maybe something like RE4.

don't know the state of FO4 modding but skyrim has some great mods (I'd know because i have 800 mods) and i was wondering if FO4 had some good mods as well.

[FNV] FNV starts to stutter really bad after installing Viva New Vegas

Hope someone can help me out. I downloaded Viva New Vegas with Wabbajack and installation was successful. It runs smooth until im around 10 min in game, it starts to stutter as if there is some kind of memory leak. Because when I close and restart the save, the stutter is gone but will come back again after some time. No crash log since its not crashing, I just need to restart.

[FO4] How Are Robots pieces parented and assembled?

I'm attempting to port robot models into Blender but I've hit a snag. I'm using the PyNifly addon to import Nifs and while most every other creature has skeletons, I've only been able to find two robots that come with skeletons, the Handy and the Assaultron. Robot skeletons seem to come in chunks with each robot part, and the parent and child connect points seem to be where these parts connect together to create the actual robot, but I haven't been able to find any info in Nifskope for how these points should be oriented and moved.

ArmLeftProtectron.Nif inside Blender. The connection points import as empties, but simply parenting won't work as the origins are different.

I attempted to use the "Skeletonref" armature found in the robot files, but there were some discrepancies. For instance, the Mr Handy that comes with a skeleton has bones in slightly different locations than the Skeletonref version.

If anyone has any knowledge on how the game pieces together robots during runtime, it would be extremely helpful!

[FNV] Can you edit weapon records with a script?

Disclaimer: I am not a modder, but I've done some simple edits for myself. I'm making an NPCs Use Ammo mod for FNV DUST mainly for personal use, but I might consider uploading it in the future. I've picked apart some mods using leveled list injection, so I can use that to give NPCs more ammo. Can I use a script to add the NPCsUseAmmo flag to each weapon? Or will I still need to edit each record manually? I'm fine with learning NVSE, JIP LN, whatever I need to make it happen.

Secondary question: is LL injection still the preferred method? I've come across some forum posts saying it's better to do manual edits and bashed patches so the user can uninstall at any time.
