Some common lingo:
/r/notebooks
mine is stifflexible (strange one but the first that I used)
(and this is specific because I’m neurotic) •A5 journal with •cream or off white pages •a section for the date on each page •college rule
would also like it to include, but it’s not a deal breaker without : •an aesthetic design •i love soft flexible covers •less than 200 pages
I found a couple of journals that match on amazon but it’s so hard to know the quality IMO. Thank you so much in advance!!!
Has anyone here ever actually won something from Notebook Therapy? They routinely offer giveaways on Instagram, but I don't see that they've ever listed winners. According to their posts, they will make announcements. It's illegal to offer a giveaway as a means to get more followers a/k/a sales, and not every actually give something away.
Hello! trying to find a journal brand with specific things. unsure if i can find one that matches perfectly but id love a journal with these things:
hardcover, no spiral numbered pages cover is easy to draw on (optional) ~200 pages (i dont write a lot in a year)
thanks in advance!
Genuinely curious. Is there anyone here on this subreddit that has a Take A Note A5 from any year they would like to sell? It doesn’t matter if its used up, your dog chewed on it or whatever. I just currently use the A6 size but I’m considering moving up in size but not sure if it would suit me. Wanted to trail run a month in it to see how it would go.
If not selling, I have some Stalogy A6 notebooks I haven’t used up if you’re willing to trade in rather but I’m willing to buy.
Thank you! #fingerscrossed
Are there any notebook brands you would recommend that can hold up a fountain pen. Would be used for journaling, sub $10 and hard cover if possible. Otherwise not looking for anything fancy.
Thanks!!
Wondering how you like to make sure you action or expand certain things in your catch-all notebook.
e.g. Do you look at your catch-all weekly or maybe every evening then decide on what do to with each note? Maybe expand on them in a different notebook or add them into a future todo list?
At least in Canada, Leuchtturm1917's online storefront is more or less a scam. Ordered a notebook and pen from them 2 weeks ago (both in stock at the time of ordering), never received any shipping info and they ignore all support emails asking for info or requesting a cancellation. Normally, I support buying direct from businesses but for Leuchtturm if you really want their product you're better off buying from Amazon since they clearly don't care about their product or their customers. Or better yet just don't buy from them. Going to dispute the charges through my bank and hopefully that's the end of it.
Hello! Im a med student and thinking of using a travellers journal setup for my clinical rotations. Heres what I am looking for:
- I think I am looking for A6 size
- a size where I can incorporate multiple journals purchased from other vendors (not a journal where I have to buy refills from the one company)
- relatively inexpensive :) I like the paper republic ones but 200 is a lot, something around 100 is feasible!
Thank you for your suggestions!
Hello, maybe you can help me. I have a Parker pan that i love but i want to try a smart notebook like the rocketbook, exists something similar with paper where i can use my pen? Thank you!
So like probably most of you, I’ve ended up with a whole bunch of notebooks over the years that I would love to use, but currently have no purpose. I’m trying to get past the ‘perfect first page’ mentality but there’s only so many general notes one can make…please give me ideas for how to use my notebooks!
Which story do you think makes a good fit for this notebook?
Hello everyone! I need you to help me find this one type of mead notebook in particular
I think they made these ones around 10 to 15 years ago. The notebook was pink themed and had sticker sheets of four to five characters of girls from different ethnicities in it. I think this was a recurring theme in the notebook. Please please help me find this notebook… I’ve looked everywhere and it’s a reminder of my past when I didn’t reall6 have a lot t9 worry about…
I don’t need to buy the notebook per se, even pictures would suffice. I’ve jus been having these flashes from t)that time period and this notebook really called out to me!
Thank you so much! Have a great day :)
Hello everyone 👋. I'm pretty new to this whole planner/notebook thing. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips regarding a cover for my new hobonichi (plain) A5 notebook.
I am looking for something that is not too expensive. I like black covers with metallic text on them (e.g. like the hobonichi Techo) or rather unexciting covers.
I live in Germany, so not everything is available. I would be happy to receive suggestions.
Hi folks,
I have this traveller's notebook, which fits B6 and B6 slim sized notebooks. I really love it and find it easy to write in, even if I have to hold it directly in my hand. However, I'm finding it difficult to find notebooks to fit in.
I currently have a midori notebook in it, and some A6 notebooks. The A6 notebooks are great for notetaking and journalling-style things but what I want to do now is to add a planner to it for next year.
A6 planners are hard to come by, and they are a bit small (just taking a look at some in the shop) and ideally I would like something with a weekly layout. B6 notebooks are even better suited to this, but I don't really know of any ones that are in that size. Any help in tracking something that might work would be great
I was even considering printing something and making it myself but that seems a bit tricky
I see on their website forms you only get 10 characters, but on other people’s books that they’ve posted here, on IG, or TikTok, they’ve definitely had more than 10 characters engraved.
I have 0 plans on traveling anytime soon… so I won’t be able to go in person, but I see you can make a video appointment. Does anyone know if they give you more characters on the video appointment and maybe their website form just isn’t cut out for that kind of customization?
Not Christmas gifts, but with the winter holiday coming up, I'm going to meet up with my siblings for the first time in a while, and I'd like to give notebooks to my siblings with covers that I've drawn myself with inside jokes on them. Etsy has custom journal covers, but they're all leather and a bit too fancy for the cartoons I have in mind. I suppose I could draw it on paper and stick it onto some notebook, but I worry that would look sloppy.... what are some easy (and not bank-breaking) ways to get three funny notebooks?
