No Retail Site Direct Linking

Posts should be either text describing or asking about fidget toys, or images showing them. Links to purchase should be added in the comments if you are selling the items or when you are posting a new fidget you found.

If asked, share where you bought your fidgets

Sharing your cool items is what being part of the community is about, but if you gatekeep where you bought them then you aren't really being a good community member. If you are asked about where to purchase something you post, it would be awesome if you would post where you got it from.

New doh softer?

I bought a new doh dream drop a few days ago and it was pretty tough. Very hard to squish, just perfect. Its been hot where I live and now its softer! I've heard of this happening, but will it go back to normal once it cools down?

Feeling bummed out

Yesterday I was in the car using my ono scroller (a passenger) and accidentally dropped it. It fell deep in the sit and idk if I'll be able to get it back out. It was my favorite, newest, and most expensive fidget.

Question about squishy fidgets

I’ve searched this subreddit for a few weeks now looking for recommendations on dough balls but I can’t seem to find a solid recommendation that people agree on. I love the needoh gum drop so I need it to be kinda firm (not like the regular needohs) like the giant cheese fidgets but without a giant air pocket. I see so many options on Amazon but the reviews are always so mixed. Anyone know what the best option is for this?

Weird sayings

What’s with the weird sayings on some fidget toys. Like “Don’t touch”, “Don’t play with the devil”, “Keep your hands to yourself”. Or Metaltoys being covered in crying faces. Kinda hard getting those ones as an adult lol.

Are premium fidget toys that costs a fortune really worth it?

I mean that one's from brands like Lautie and ACEdc. Some of the cheaper toys are just as fun. The really price comes from the precise and detailed craftsmanship which I don't think it matters much as a toy but way more as a display piece.

My Budget Friendly Fidget Toys on Sale =]

Hi everyone!

WTS:

  1. Kinetic interlocking gear toy (hand-made) - $40 - This one is cool. I bought this when my husband and I travelled overseas last year. This is hand made, no counterfeits for anything. Just a fun fidget toy.

  2. KukoEDC’s Titanium X Slider with New Plate - $80 - right out of box.

  3. 01EDC’s Hamburger Mechanical Slider - $45 - right out of box.

  4. Kinetic magnetic toy - $20 - This one was also bought in overseas. This is unique, it makes satisfying noises when you separate them and bring them together with a small force.

  5. Flick Spinning Top - $20 - This is from Etsy store. It’s a spinning top that you can flick with your fingers while it is spinning. Super cool and unique in my opinion.

*I prefer CONUS, if possible! *Items above are NOT counterfeits or clones.

PM me for videos and more photos 🙂.

Does anyone know a fidget toy equivalent to those devices they used for Morse code?

I recently went to a restaurant without a fidget so I used the silverware and when I pressed the knife on the table it felt exactly like how you’d think pressing a Morse code device would (too lazy too look up the name of the device). Was just wondering if anyone had or are using a fidget that would feel like this?

HIDEDC Slider — Great fidget for the price. (Update from my previous post, do not get the glow in the dark version.)

The other day I posted a photo of a similar fidget slider off Amazon under the brand TAMOXI. It was a glow in the dark version of this same Breakthrough knockoff style. After buying a non glow in the dark version from the HIDEDC brand to compare, I suggest getting that one instead. Not only was the glow in the dark version abrasive when sliding and clicking into place, the coating on the interior started chipping after a day. This one is smooth and satisfying to slide, the pattern gives a crunchy sound which I love, and you don’t feel like anything’s rubbing or scratching inside. I think the two brands are the same exact pieces, but the main issue is the glow in the dark coating. I also used a lead test swab on it, so it’s safe. Link to this exact fidget slider in the comments.

Ono roller - cracked

Very disappointed to see that both cylinders are cracked upon arrival. No damage to the packaging. Seems rather unfortunate, especially for a $28 fidget toy.

It does feels great in the hand, but clearly quality control is not where I'd have hoped.

Anyone else have this issue?

So I got this guy off of Temu.

There was no video which I think is essential is deciding on a fidget to buy. I saw this and had to give it a try. Because the machined holes at the top I thought it would have something similar to the mech egg but it might seem like all those holes are for show? Anyone purchase this thing? Do I have to unscrew something? It came with like two different tools.

simple fidget toys for school? :)

going into school this year and a small, discreet fidget toy would be a life saver for me. can't take jewelry type things because jewelry is allowed at my school in general. i know nothing about fidget toys haha. ideally something not too pricey? 😅

thanks in advance!

What are some fun pens to disassemble?

I fidget quite a bit when listening to lectures, and I've found taking apart a pen and putting it back together is helpful in the moments when I'm not taking notes. It's quiet, and if I do it a few times then I don't need to break focus from the lecture and can kind of just do it without thinking while still listening.

I think I've most enjoyed taking apart gimmick pens like the office pens that have tiny LED flashlights since they tend to have a lot of parts. But I'm really just looking for satisfying pens to fidget with in this manner. Preferably pens with several parts and not just body + tube.

Cheers.

Looking for some feedback on a few 3D printed fidget sliders

Thanks! I’ve got my 3 testers!

Hi everyone! I’ve been 3d modeling and printing for a bit and I decided I wanted to try making some magnetic fidget sliders. I have a couple prototype designs that I was wondering if anyone would be willing to try them out and give me some feedback on them. You don’t have to write a review, make a video or promote it in any kind of way. I pay for shipping and you get to keep anything I send you. In return I just ask for your honest opinion.

So I’m looking for 3 people who have experience with sliders, especially the 3D printed variety. I’m interested in what you like about mine and what you don’t like and what you think of the overall design and print quality. If you have an idea for a design change that you want to share with me, I’m all ears!

I’m really new to the fidget toys, but I have a bunch of design ideas that I haven’t really seen on Etsy, and that might be a good thing or not. lol

If you’re interested, let me know! I’ll have them ready to ship by Monday.
