I just signed up for D23 gold for my family, and my wife doesn't have her own MDE account, so it is all under my name (even though they're in my MDE family/guest list. I'm out of town alot, so will my wife be able to use my membership card to get into events, use discounts, etc. or will I have to get her another membership?
Hi guys, I was wondering if someone has had this error before. I even made a 2nd account to try and redeem this on the checkout page but it is telling me invalid username/ password. I know both of those login credentials were right and I changed both of them on both accounts I tried it on. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
Destination D23: A Journey Around The Worlds of Disney will be at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort from August 29 through 31, 2025.
Any idea when tickets will go on sale?
After my husband and I’s membership box came, I elected to buy 2 more pin sets to try complete the set. Unfortunately ended up with 2 Maui hooks and 2 tridents. Looking to see if anyone has a Madame Leota or poison they’d be willing to trade for the aforementioned. TIA!
Chicago doesn't say they're no longer available like other cities, but there's no way to get past this page and actually get the tickets, this is my first time so is there something I'm missing?
So is the Los Angeles showing not available at all?
If anyone is attending the MOG holiday shopping event… has anyone received the email yet for the pin preferences? It supposed to come out today (November 11th) but I haven’t received it yet. Just wanted to see if anyone else has gotten it!
I still have 2 Encanto candle pins and a Maleficent figure that I’m willing to trade for a lamp, Mauis hook and a Merlin figure. If anyone is interested.
I have the trident and genie lamp!
I just received my collectors gift box and omg the playing cards are so cute! My mystery character figurine is Genie but I would love to trade for a Maleficent.
Also I got the guitar and potion bottle pins and would be willing to trade either for a crystal ball <3
Anyone else go to this event last night in Hollywood?
Full disclosure I don't live in LA anymore and happened to be visiting from SF so I am not a D23 member. Though I did used to have an annual pass for many years when I lived down here, I went to the park often was a big pin trader always wanted to go to the expo ect... I'm still a pretty big Disney fan and esp park fan but I haven't been in a while and have not been to D23 events.
That being said, what the hell was that party last night? They missed a massive opportunity to highlight how beautiful the Roosevelt hotel is. They filled the rooms with tacky fake dead trees full of poison bottles (you can def buy at Home Goods) and purple fairy lights.
Tons of mid looking food with almost no where to sit to eat it. Weird "photo ops" that were just lame backdrops too small to even fill the frame of a photo, and mostly just ads for Hulu. The music was SO LOUD and they were bumping club music from 20 years ago.
Why not dress the employees as tower of terror bell hops ect. Fill the room with dusty props and throw spiderwebs on the already existing art deco stuff. Play some swing music! Lean into the glitz and glamor of old Hollywood but make it creepy??
If you are going to make a "lounge" make it so you can talk to eachother? Literally my eardrums were about to explode.
Curious what other people were expecting and where this falls along the line of of D23 fan events. Why do people usually go? Seemed like everyone was really interested in just taking photos with those weird backdrops. Is this more of a social media thing? No one was even dancing (to be fair the music was genuinely not good in pretty much any room)
I definitely feel swindled for that insane price tag & I blame the copy writers for giving the impression this would be a fun old Hollywood style party in the spooky theme of tower of terror with some cool photo ops, fun cocktails, and dancing. Massive bummer and missed opportunity.

The holidays are all about sharing, and it’s a true gift to share this special time with our D23 Members, and their friends and families. We are overjoyed to invite you to enjoy exclusive activities and shopping opportunities, like:
My husband and I used our DMI points to finally get a membership. We got the individual ones in the hopes that we would get different pins and figures. Unfortunately we got the same pins, and he was hoping to get a Merlin figure. Wondering if anyone is willing to do a trade?
I’m a first-time D23 member so opening this was really exciting to me. I’m really happy with the mystery items too! Which ones did you all receive?
D23 Tune-in To Terror: A Hollywood Halloween
Costumes: As the star of this show, be sure you dress the part! A Hollywood Halloween would not be complete without a few costumes sure to make the viewers shriek with envy. We hope you take this as your opportunity to make jaws (and service elevators) DROP with your applause-worthy style!
So… are we just wearing costumes? I was thinking a witch costume this year. Although I’m not sure if they mean old Hollywood? The Roosevelt is golden era and then it’s a twilight zone event… what costume is more appropriate?
So back to my question what is anyone wearing to this?
If you don’t have the Fall Twenty-Three Edition in your order history email D23 and ask about it because I emailed them and they ordered it for me. I don’t think I would have gotten it if I hadn’t emailed.

I received the glitter variant Mama Odie as my mystery gift. If anyone has a figure they would trade for or other collectibles they would trade for, I’m all ears.
Just got my gold member set in the mail and was looking through the beautiful playing card set, and to my surprise Gurgi is on a card! The Black Cauldron is one of my favorite Disney movies, but for so long Disney tried to pretend that it didn't exist, so to see Gurgi included in the set just makes me so extremely happy that I had to share it.
I'm just wondering, is it typical that every year the gold membership renews it's sending a "new member" letter and certificate that says "D23 welcomes [name] to the official Disney fanclub"? This is my third year as a gold member, I signed up late in the year so it auto-renews every fall. Last year I assumed it was a fluke, but I just got the 2024 membership package and again it's acting like I'm a new member, even though the card included does say "member since 2022". Is this normal, or is there supposed to be a different letter and certificate for renewals? It seems strange that it would send a new membership letter to renewals every single year.
New gold member here. I guess I didn't read carefully when signing my wife and I up for this that you only get ONE collector set. Knowing Disney, I feel like you used to get 2 and that was taken away.
Anyone have any backstory on this? Or has it always been like this.
