About to get black friday deals on Paramount + with showtime and Max and want to maximize my watching on both. Need suggestions for these platforms!!! (would also take any for Netflix, tubi, or Disney, or peacock as I already have these).
Tier list below to help clarify my tastes to show both shows i love/like and ones i havent liked as much. (Also had some fun with quotes from my favorite shows being the tier categories). I have a watch list on the tier list, feel free to highlight any of those I should do first.
(And please don't come for me for my rankings it's obviously subjective and based on my criteria. For example, breaking bad is an objectively good show, I just hate like all the characters so I don't really enjoy it that much 😭)
Thanks in advance!!
I recently rewatched Sex Educations first 3 seasons, and watched season 4 for the first time. The first 3 seasons still hold up, I genuinely love them, season 4 is definitely a step down, and a disappointing final season. What shows would you say are similar? I’m trying to fill the void that final season left.

Hi everyone. I'm working on a script in which the main character is undergoing a medical procedure and is having a dream while doing so. I want the scene to jump from the "dream world" to the real world.
Do you have any references I can use for these types of scenes? To be extra specific, I'm looking for specific scenes (not entire episodes) where a character is unconscious/incapacitated (in a chair, bed, medical table, etc.) while experiencing a vision/dream/memory, and the scene switches between:
The most basic example that comes to mind is The Matrix: Neo fighting Agent Smith.
I just finished “Better Than Us” on Netflix, and I’ve previously watched “To The Lake”. Anybody have any recommendations for Russian (or Eastern European in general) tv shows that I should watch? I primarily watch apocalyptic fiction , dramas, and romance, but I enjoy crime, comedy and action if it’s a quality show.
I’ve just finished Kin, and am now looking for something similar. What I loved about the show was the familial affection, the gang wars, the refusal to let any disrespect to the family slide, overprotective parents and the fact that it focussed on the heads of an organisation (not looking for a show about foot soldiers). I also enjoyed the ’hitman with a heart’ trope in Michael being arguably the most dangerous, but also often the calmest.
Please, please do send any recommendations my way! As an FYI, I’ve tried Peaky Blinders, but had to stop because I found the espionage plot deeply uninteresting. Any recommendations should ideally be shows with minimal/unintrusive side plots.
Here are previous shows I liked
The Strain
Better Call Saul
Breaking Bad
Justified
Slow Horses
Lost
The gentlemen
Longmire
Hell on Wheels
Night Sky
Tulsa King
Silo
The Punisher
Daredevil
The Terminal List
Fringe
Loki
Mr and Mrs Smith

Not a fan of seeing seeing s-ex scenes but if the show is good enough to skip it, it's ok Thanks
I love watching the wealthy society drama shows for background noise and some entertainment/motivation while I work (lol)
I’ve watched them all at this point but wondering if I’m missing some. I’ve watched Selling Sunset, the OC, I tried selling Tampa but didn’t enjoy it, Selling London, Manhattan.
I’ve watched Dubai Bling, RHOBH, I haven’t watched any other RH series as I don’t have them on Netflix I don’t think.
Anyway, throw any shows similar to above at me! 😊
I'm wondering if the show is worth watching as it came up in shows similar to From.
I want a show like The Night Agent, or Cross, I want something that’s going to keep me on the edge on my turns with lots of plot twist. I love Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder, Found, Apple Never Falls, etc,..
I’m mainly looking for a drama, action, suspense and lots of plot twists. I’m willing to compromise on action based. I just want something that’s is going keep me on the edge of my seat.

Do you have a recommendation?
Just finished Season 1 of Shrinking
Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. There lots of laughs and plenty of heartfelt moments.
AppleTV is killing it with their lineup, I haven’t watched a single series on it that wasn’t top notch.
I’m sure this show has been discussed numerous times here already, but I had to tell someone.
Does anyone know of any comedies with a similar vibe to shows like Ideal, Brassic and Trailer Park Boys, they're my top 3 comedies.
Amazing show , animal kingdom on Amazon prime
So I'm planning on switching back to dvds soon and I need you guys to hit me with your suggestions on your favourite TV shows and movies that I should watch!
I’m looking for things that into the nitty gritty of corruption, specifically like political/governmental. Not necessarily real life either. The only examples that come to mind are Andor and Dopesick. The scenes from the empires perspective and the sacklers perspective was really really interesting. I want to see both sides of the fight. Any and all recommendations would be very much appreciated.

Are there any shows similar to The Bear just finished it and loved it
Hi, just finished Arcane and interior Chinatown. Looking for any genre other than horror preferably a tv show that will make me want to binge watch till sunrise. Animation is great so don't shy from there. What I loved recently:
Arcane, interior Chinatown, blood of Zeus, the penguin, the dragon prince, dead boy detectives and the sandman, inside job invincible, and X-Men 97
Does anyone else correlate shows to seasons in their heads? Winter to me is ER or This Is Us. Fall is The Walking Dead and Once Upon a Time.
Anyone else?
These are my favorite shows! I know they’re all over the place lol does anyone have any recommendations? I need something new to watch
Just finished this short show and really liked the parent/child relationship it had going on - where the parent is beginning to grow old, and the child is navigating becoming their caretaker. If anyone has recommendations for shows with a similar parent/child dynamic, please share! Genre not important, I'm open to a lot of things.
My list:- 1)Shogun 2)The penguin 3)Baby reindeer 4)Ripley 5)Presumed innocent
