There was a show that talked about a family coming from the future and living present in a town and they know some knowledge about future they didn’t have superpowers ( I think, don’t actually remember if any appeard) and a major thing is that they all had their little toe missing and remember exactly but all the future had their toes missing
There's RDJ and Park Chan-Wook, but how much is the Vietnamese part in it? How much subtitles do I have to read?
For example, Shogun is subtitles mostly but the story keeps you attentive all the time. Will the same happen here?
I'm looking for a new romantic comedy show to watch that is like the TV show "Chuck". The closest thing I found was the TV show "Lucifer," which I did really like, but I feel like there should be more. Basically, it's a TV series that is a dramedy with romance in it. I also really liked "How I Met Your Mother," which wasn't as dramatic, but it still had a lot of romance and comedy. Any recommendations?
I need a show that grabs you fast atleast 3 seasons
Can be from anywhere around the world. If it's not in English, I just need English subtitles available.
Can be animated or live-action. Can be any genre.
Bonus for either woman main character or secondary character, but not mandatory. Both the main character and secondary character can be men.
Not okay with rape scenes. If it's fade to black or a cutscene, that's okay.
Bonus for really weird anthology series, but not mandatory.
Just finished Farscape The peacekeeper war and looking for a similar show. I've watched and liked The Expanse Babylon 5 Firefly Farscape and the Peacekeeper war that followed
I never really could get into either star trek or star wars, blasphemous I know and apologize for(lol)
I just started Andromeda, barely 5 mins into it, but for some strange reason I think I remember reading about it being canceled and not having an ending. Is it true? Is it still worth watching if it's any good at all? I'm gonna at least finish the first episode.
Any other shows with that similar vibe you'd recommend.
More specifically, looking for ones where the aliens are successful in taking over the world. I'm aware of Childhood's End, Invasion, & The X-Files.
Looking for a series to watch together. Preferably nothing that's too sad as we intend to watch before bed and don't want to to bed sad, in tears every other time we watch. I listed some other shows we like below for reference of that helps. TIA!

I have seen severance , dark , the curse , Twins Peak and maniac already
They Can be non english or even animated
If you can believe it, I cut my favs down to kinda goofy. I want to care about characters OR be dysfunctional, make me wonder what the f*** is happening, horror humor or an interesting premise. Be kind, some are goofy.

Happy
The IT Crowd
Family Tree
Barry
Shaun of the Dead
The Guest Book
Poker Face
Sneaky Pete
What we do in the shadows
Ted Lasso
Maniac
Umbrella Academy
Schitts Creek

As the title states, I am a serial binge-watcher. I find a show I like, and it plays all day in the background while I go about my day. I have watched SO MANY shows, and I am running out of ideas. This seems like a good place to come to.
The list of things I've watched is frankly too long to go into, but I'm into things like SVU, Grey's, House, Grimm, Dexter, 9-1-1, Nurse Jackie, Call the Midwife, The Good Wife, Suits, Evil, Banshee, Ray Donovan, etc...
hi everyone, in desperate need for new shows/movies to binge on. preferably sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural, but anything is fine. i’ve been really into supernatural stuff lately and it feels like i’ve watched everything haha
Hey
Looking for a binge worthy TV show to watch. I'm looking for mainly mystery or crime with comedy. Something not too serious. I do also enjoy sc-fi and action. Bonus if it's a female badass lead character (such as veronica mars and wednesday) or if the show has some action/fighting.
I really enjoyed shows such as:
These are the shows i've tried or somewhat enjoyed
Have tried some shows such as:
thanks for your suggestions
I just finished One of Us is Lying on netflix and i got bamboozled after how much I liked this series when I intended for it to be a space filler after binging on Avatar: last air bender (lol bad combo, ik ik)
Anyway, One of us is lying is basically a high school drama mystery with a cute couple as subplot. I'm open to any high school set up series from 2015 onwards. I've tried Outerbanks, it just hasnt clicked with me yet like One of us is lying did. Already watched 13 reasons why as well. So anything thats close to either 13 reasons why and one of us is lying, i'm open to it regardless of how fucked up it can get. thanks in advance!
I enjoy watching shows set in small villages, where the characters all live in close proximity. For example, recently I watched shows called From, Under the Dome and Schitt's Creek where the characters are all tightly knit within the same town. Can you recommend any similar shows?
I wanna watch some good shows that has an average runtime of 30 minutes per each episodes but also not long running stuff with about 10 seasons like Friends, TBBT. Just anything else would do fine
Who watched this show without any idea of how good the show is. And now you are craving for it. OMG the alliance of all the Powerful characters and the way people see Rimuru and the badass moments makes me want to rewatch it again and again. This show should be celebrated more for the world and character building. What’d u think ?
Just finished rewatching LOST, one of if not my favorite, show of all time. Looking for something with similar binge ability that is somewhat cerebral. Must have a continuous story line instead of stand alone episodes. Some other shows I’ve really enjoyed are:
The 100 Westworld Ozarks Breaking Bad Prison Break Bates Motel
…just to name a few.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
So I kept reading about Dark and decided to start watching. I am on Season 1, episode 9. I keep thinking I know what is going on - who is whom and when - but I keep getting confused. The subreddit for this show appears to be 6 years old, so I turn to you guys! I want to keep watching but I am about to give up. Do I stick with it? (I have some charts for the various families in the various times, but it's not enough..
Ive seen
Thats all i can think of right now that I've seen but would love more recs!!
My only thing is no laugh tracks... Thanks!!!
Is it any good
I was just watching that one Mad Men episode and it made me hungry for more hippie vibes.
What do you have for me?
Yesterday I watched the 2020 Emma with Anya Taylor-Joy and really liked it. What are your recommendations for similar movies and/or other Jane Austen adaptions? I’ve seen the Keira Knightly Pride & Prejudice. Thank you!
I am one of those strange people where I feel like I can ONLY watch certain TV shows (and music) at certain times of the year.
Most of my favourite TV shows (Game of Thrones, X-Files, Fringe) are strictly 'winter shows' for me, as they are mostly set in cold environments lol... but I have no summer ones.
None-comedies only please
90s onwards would be great, but Im tempted to even go back to the 80s and maybe watch Miami Vice or something
Anything that has a similar vibe to the Top Gun or Fast and Furious films would be good, but Im pretty open minded
Plot can of course be any, but it should have similar intensity and grittyness. The thing that attracted me the most was none of the shit was over the top. So, if you have something similar, grounded please tell me. Preferably TV-MA.
i started watching shameless with my boyfriend and i’ve become obsessed with it. we’re only on season 2 but it keeps me so entertained!! thing is, obviously i can only watch it with him and i really need something to binge as ive been going through it a bit and need a distraction. anything similar with dysfunctional but loveable characters? i’ve already seen misfits and skins UK, i just really love the characters in shameless and the constant over the top drama. i hate frank gallagher as a person but all the shit he causes keeps me so entertained. sort of reminds me of the rookie, which i also enjoyed! another thing i appreciate about shameless is the genuinely good plot twists that leave me and my bf shocked for a moment
other shows i’ve watched and loved: criminal minds, greys anatomy, scorpion, elementary, ratched, part of supernatural, and that’s all i can think of for now. im easy to please with shows but the one show i didn’t enjoy was brooklyn 99 (i don’t like the over the top comedy and punchlines, it felt too unserious).
