Let's gather here to celebrate forgotten TV shows! Note: This is NOT r/TipOfMyTongue

A Subreddit where old forgotten TV shows are discussed. These shows can be good or bad. They do share one thing in common though: No one remembers them!

Rules Of Thumb

  1. Shows should have lasted for no more than FOUR seasons.

  2. Shows final season should be at least FIVE years prior to the current year (though some exceptions can be made)

  3. Link Posts can either be links to IMDB or Wikipedia pages or YouTube videos of intros. While Text posts can be discussions about shows or questions about how to find shows legally.

  4. No links to illegal streams of the shows. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  5. Please only downvote if posts break any of these rules

With the exception of Rule 4, there is a little bit of wiggle room to these.

We reserve the right to remove posts about shows that are well known despite having early cancellations.

Smack The Pony (1999-2003)

I watched this at far too young of an age. It absolutely gave me my sense of humour, though. Their music parodies were amazing

Duck Dynasty 2012-2017

The stranglehold this family had on the country for a few years is nothing short of impressive

That's My Mama - 1974-1975

Saw this one in reruns back in the 80. You get a young Clifton Davis, a pre-Loveboat Ted Lange and Teddy Wilson who later played the Doobie Brothers bootleger on What's Happening.

Casper and the Angels (1979) It's the mashup of Casper the Friendly Ghost, CHiPs, Charlie's Angels, Laverne & Shirley, The Jetsons, and a pinch of Scooby-Doo you didn't know you wanted.

The One: Making a Music Star (2006)

This was a short lived ABC show which, I can simply put it in, was a cross between American Idol and Big Brother (this had the same producer as Big Brother; Endemol). Lasted for four episodes before getting canceled due to worsening ratings, leaving the show without a winner.
