I watched this at far too young of an age. It absolutely gave me my sense of humour, though. Their music parodies were amazing
Leslie Nielsen stars as Buddy Fox, who is the Scrooge like owner of a health club named after him. Michael Fontaine stars as Ben who is the manager of the club and is like a son to Buddy,he also is basically the voice of reason amongst a cast that also includes Jennifer Tily and Jake Steinfeld. A spring replacement, this aired for 5 episodes before it got yanked,Nielsen’s previous tv sitcom attempt “Police Squad!” ran for 6.
A game show where the judges literally decide if the contestant is physically attractive lol. I still think about this show a lot
The stranglehold this family had on the country for a few years is nothing short of impressive
Saw this one in reruns back in the 80. You get a young Clifton Davis, a pre-Loveboat Ted Lange and Teddy Wilson who later played the Doobie Brothers bootleger on What's Happening.
Still Standing was a family favorite.
Based upon a film which came out in 1954. This aired on CBS for 1 season and tells the tale of a family with no parents and a couple of brothers who are trying to run a ranch in California. Amongst the house is a girl who named Hannah who married Richard Dean Anderson’s Adam and is now trying to bring peace to the house. Launched the career of the late future teen idol River Phoenix.
A reality tv show American Idol spoof where Tone Loc, Vitamin C and two others hosted a singing competition but picked the worst and most delusional singers and told them they were good n going to get a record deal
Yea the early 00s were wild times in reality tv lol
This was a short lived ABC show which, I can simply put it in, was a cross between American Idol and Big Brother (this had the same producer as Big Brother; Endemol). Lasted for four episodes before getting canceled due to worsening ratings, leaving the show without a winner.
