Hey all! I’m located in the US/east coast. And I’m looking for people who would be open to emailing for the next couple months before switching to snail mail. This is because I 1) don’t love the idea of giving my address to complete strangers and 2) unless something goes horribly wrong (I.e. approval does come from my university and/or the USDE) I will be spending two months this summer in Zanzibar and before that I’ll be moving. So I really can’t effectively respond to mail (not that I couldn’t send a post card or something while away)

But all that aside, I’m an occasional writer, frequent traveler and constant reader. I have two darling cats, and a husband (as well as no intention of having kids). I’m slowly edging my way closer to being heavily tattooed instead of just having tattoos. I’m in grad school for anthropology. I’m learning Swahili (hence the Zanzibar trip). My French is terrible but I can understand it. And my Indonesian has fallen into disrepair, but I will probably start working on it once my Swahili is good. If I find the time I like to make lace (not bobbin bit shuttle). I love the beach, and old cities. I like cooking but mostly because I like good food. I’ve been to 4/7 continents and 13 countries (I think I counted right).

Right now I live in one of the larger German cities, but was raised in a small village.
