My work station is right under a window so it can be easily vented. This unit is a lot more powerful than the cheap Amazon units. Should it work for spraying lacquer based paints? Will a respirator still be required? If so which one.
I’m fully convinced that charcoal is apart of their formula since this is the only color from their line that reeks of it especially when dried? Anyone get the same thing? I was initially impressed by how black it was first pouring but after airbrushing and pulling off my mask I was met with an overwhelming stench unlike any other acrylics I’ve sprayed. Now it all makes sense if theres some form of coal in there
I heard regular primer works, but also, I've heard not. Wanna know if it's required? I brushpaint if that's important since idk if dragging a paintbrush across PE would knock it off.
I'm just new the whole thing when it comes to PE since every kit I've done hasnt had it until this most recent one. Thanks!
My airbrush is arriving tomorrow and Im just wondering what tools I need
Respirator mask: Do I need one if I can work outside?
And just generally any other stuff I should buy, I have thinner, but I dont know if theres anything else I need
I was attaching the outer piece of wing to the wing root and accidentally snapped a bit of the wing root. It looks very ugly now and I was wondering if there was any way I could smooth it out.
Thanks in advanced.
Here's a picture of a standard Type IV Churchill (wiki pic of a churchill IV). Here's the box photo and instructions (churchill-tlc-type-a)
Anyway, I've been working like crazy on this super detailed kit, and realized that there were a couple of pieces missing that I saw on the photos of type IV. Specifically, the periscope covers for the driver and hull gunner are missing the little flat caps with a visor, and that the front rubber mud flats were also missing from the drawings and construction diagrams, but I cannot find actual real tank pics that show them as missing.
However, when I went over the sprues, lo and behold, I found the little round flat caps with the correct visors, AND the mud flaps.
It looks like whoever put the instructions together just completely forgot to mention them! Is this something that happens with AFV instructions? Or did they? Has anyone got any reference photos that suggest these parts should be left off on this particular variant.
Thanks in advance?
Hello, this is my first post, also english isn't my first lenguage, so I do apologise for any mispells and redaction problems.
I'm new at the Tank hobby (I tend to do 1/700 ships more than anything) but I decided to do one of my fav tanks since I was having a 2 week off vacations ordering the 1/35 Sturmtiger from RFM mainly cause it came with movable tracks (I'm those idiots that likes playing with them alone). But soon I realise that the tracks (although nicely engineer) were not that resistant for play.
Now I want to order some metal tracks from Aliexpress (ebay shipping for my country sucks) and I wanted some guidance in the best seller, brand or type of track to order.
I'm a bit surprised to be having somewhat of a hard time finding 3D print files for either a USAF or USN pilot in 1/72 or 1/48 scale. I'm new to the hobby so I'm not sure if I'm searching for the right thing. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I’m making a model of the jumbo Sherman
Looking for instructions for this kit as the originals are in Korean and my father has lost them anyway, the ones I did manage to find online had a massive watermark through the middle of them covering all the piece numbers! Looking for another set so I can translate them :)
Is there an app, tool, or website which allows you to upload a picture of a plane/car/train/boat/etc. and it does its best to generate all the possible Tamiya paint colors to use with a model?
Hi, at the moment I am building a BF109 F2 (Eduard, 1/72) and it comes with the option to install an "early" seat. According to some sources, many BF109s in their F1 and F2 versions used it, even with the cockpit color in RLM02. Until what year was RLM02 used as a cockpit color? Someone know about that early seat?
