Any sort of bent-nose tweezers and/or slanted/precision tweezers are many modelers go-to tool for how small the tabs are. For a lot of the situations, precision tweezers are more efficient to use over needle-nose pliers.
Fascinations makes a 3-piece toolkit for their metal models that comes with a clipper, flat-nose pliers and needle-nose pliers.
Mandrels help create rounded parts. Here is a small mandrel and here is a 'large' mandrel, there both work well for these models.
Places such as YourToyMart.com have created an all-in one toolkit with most of everything that may be needed to create Metal Earth models.
Accidents happen, pieces break, if that happens Superglue, Quick Dry, or 5 Second Fix can help re-attach a broken piece.

Really needs help in fixing this piece. Does other mu transformer model have this same issues. The sticker just poped up and most of them are the white parts.
First ever model, have tools. I'm finding it impossible to fold the circles and cones. Even if I manage the shape, the distance might be too small or large and then it doesn't fit in the tabs.
Also there are some parts smaller than a tiny tiny nail I can't even see them
I am making the t800 currently. Ran into a problem with this step (part of step 1). These tabs and insertion points do not align. I have measured the parts and it seems they don't align as simple pieces either so it is not the assembly. Anyone else ran into this problem? If yes how did you solve it? Thanks
Really happy with this one. Was a lot of fun. I disagree with the 3 star difficulty. Would give it at least a 4 for how fiddle some bits are.
Hello! 😁
I've been buying a ton of knockoff kits so thought I'd share some.
Still getting the hang of this and making lots of mistakes as you can see, but this is kind of a fun hobby! I especially enjoyed this one because I’m reading a bunch of WWI books right now.
I started doing Lego sets last year, but that was getting expensive so I decided to try some of these kits to supplement since they are a lot cheaper. It takes a lot more patience and is way less forgiving (I broke/smashed more than a few pieces), but I think I’m figuring it out. This was my second one.
Glad I found this sub!
Redemption for the DeLorean! A very quick and forgiving first build. Had fun playing with the curve of the wings. I think I'll try the Nimbus 2000 next
Halfway there
My house gets a lot of dust as a consequence, models gather a layer of dust. How do you clean the models? I believe this is a general problem for all.
Well look-ee what’s popped up in “What’s New”!
Can’t wait to see someone tackle that Greek Trireme
So some of you may remember that I snapped one of Deadpool's arms while I was assembling him. I sent an email to metal earth requesting the piece I broke, and they sent me a whole new model kit! That's crazy!! I'm honestly floored.
Fan for life now.
I will add a fixed light when im done
