A place to show off your kitbashed models and miniatures.
Rules are loose on what you can post. A "Kitbash" is the combination of multiple models with loose parts to create a unique model. That is what this subreddit is about. Posting completely custom made models is allowed, along with anything you think could or would inspire others in their own projects. Not all posted qualifies as Kitbash, if it doesnt then it should inspire Kitbashing.

Fun little kit bash and a bad photo shop
Half the fun of scratch building and kitbashing is finding neat parts for your builds. Share that model kit you bought, the weird item you found in a thrift store, or the part you ripped from some dead electronics.
I've seen a lot of kit bashed stuff on places like Pinterest. And a lot of it is really cool, but I have no idea where they get the parts because of a lot of them are obviously not Warhammer. I know about scratch building and stuff, but this is more like sci-fi miniatures of people and stuff which seems a lot harder to do with scratch building. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
My local blic art supply has a huge cart with every thickness of styrene sheet, rods in every thickness and type, textured sheets, a bunch of specific stuff like ladders, and more.
I’d love to have the whole cart so I can have anything I might need, but obviously thats ridiculous… what specific styrene products would you recommend for general purpose kitbashing and terrain building? Obviously 1mm sheets… what else?
A question that might help: if you could only have 10 styrene products for the rest of your life, which 10 would you pick?
Is there a way to soften it up again? I never seem to use all of the stuff I've mixed up, and I feel like I'm wasting it
Hi I'm thinking of making a flying landfish mount sort of thing, as a proxy for a kroot lone spear.
I'm not familiar with all the possible models I could use, so I'm hoping I can get a few suggestions.
My thoughts on possible models are: Idoneth deepkin are a bit too fishy, ironically.
My concept is something like a flying fish crossed with a frog crossed with the tail of a night fury (from the how to train your dragon films).
The closest models I can think of are a kitbash between a tzeench screamer and a slaanesh seeker, but I suspect there are better options that I don't know of.
So, I'm trying to make a "Tactical snail" which is a basically just a snail with armor and guns slapped onto it. I found a good model snail, but can't for the life of me find a good vehicle to kitbash onto the little guy. If anyone could give me advice, that would be appreciated.
(By the way, the little fella WILL eventually be used on tabletop as an ultramarine in 40k, representing whatever model he was combined with. The model to be kitbashed does not need to be Ultramarine or 40k, but should be vaguely like a armored vehicle. No Nids, Aeldar, Orks, Daemons Or necrons. Preferably no Oldhammer or middle earth seeing as he is a future death snail, and not a old fashioned death snail)
Thanks!
I still don't know what this guy is gonna be yet, but I feel I'm pretty close to finishing the construction. I just need to place the eyes around his body to blend in the whole thing and fill up gaps, put removing the glue strands. From there I can prime him up and begin painting.
Hope you enjoy.
