Hello, I feel silly about this since I’m sure this is covered extensively, but I can’t find the specific answer I am looking for. Can anyone provide me with information about the specific rates that are appropriate to charge for commission painting orders. I paint to a high tabletop/display standard and tend to focus on single figs. I’m in the US. What should I charge to ensure I’m not undercutting others in the commission game?

Looking for a very high end painter to do a commission project for KDM. Budget is dependent upon each model and the effort it would require but I am looking at a generalization of over $100 for every survivors model minimum.

Depending on Set/Model you will be:

• buying - negotiable to save on shipping and depending on if i already own or not
• Building - to include removing mold lines and filling gaps
• Painting - smooth paint application especially on skin tones, discernable eyes, possible OSL depending on model (of which many have lanterns)
• Basing

The list of models I would like done is quite extensive though I would lean towards one set per commission. Further work to follow after each set budget allowing. One set being one Monster plus its armor set, One Vignette all models included, or a group of white box survivors together (typically about 4).

Please PM if you are interested and believe yourself to be a HIGH quality painter. Let me know if you have any particular interest in any one set over another. Hi there, first time poster on this sub!

I’m new to this sub, new to the mini scene, and new to Kingdom Death Monster. I currently have the core game, gambler’s chest, and 5 expansions.

I’m looking for both an artist, or artists, and input. Given I don’t have experience in this space, I’d like to assemble the survivors myself and paint as I go. The monsters are more complicated assembly and painting—and ive seen amazing work on these monsters online.

I’m hoping to find an artist that has experience painting these monsters and is open to working with me. My thought is to either pay for completed work with cash + the sprues of the monsters being painting OR I’ll send the sprues and the artist assembles and paints for me.

Paint scheme to be the classic clean ultramarine look ideally would like these to be display quaility and to really impress at the table.

A lot of artists ask for quote but is there like a normal price range for anime garage kit commissions? I do not want to disturb the artist by not asking for the commission if i can’t afford it after im given the quote, i think its better if i know before hand the price range artists have in anime garage kits.

Mine is 1/6 size, no clothing just body, body parts that come seperate is two hair parts, face and a certain male body part. There is also bikini part that you can make with strings that u tie around the chest so it is given some modesty.

If i were to ask an artist to paint and assemble this, what is the price range for this type? (example ” the material and work cost for this for a beginner artist is —- ” Or ” for a professional artist —— ”

I’m a terrible painter. I’ve tried and tried but my shaky ass hands can’t do the details. Be it with a brush or an airbrush. That being said I have 4 units that I need painted. Probably going to have to do them all separately due to financial reasons but depends on the price.

• The units are a custom Cerastus Lancer

• The other Cerastus with the bolter and sword.

• A custom redemptor dread (with dune crawler legs.) essentially a spider dread

• A dune crawler( with the legs of a dreadnought) a Gonk droid looking tank with legs.

I have pictures to help describe the color scheme that I will provide. The lancer does need a bit of a tweak because some of the pieces where resin and broke.(the parts were meant to be conduits that connect legs to the body). As for the dunewalker it has a base and just needs to be painted to tie into the model it self. The models are in various stages some are primed and other are still bare plastic/resin.

Any interest is appreciated and I’d be happy to answer any questions/send pictures of what I’m talking about/ what I’m looking for.

This is something that might take a while because it's rather hard to come by. I would love for Bridgets Wonder Festival GK to get painted with the pink alt color.

I have printed a Yoruichi Statue from Bleach. Its pretty big maybe 1/4 scale or a little smaller if i had to guess. You would have to sand it and paint it. I just dont trust myself to paint it, one of the little pieces that go on the base need to be sanded a little to fit. Other than that the whole thing fits together perfectly. Just trying to get an idea on pricing and maybe see some of people pasts work. I want HIGH quality paint job. Dont mean to be rude but dont DM me if youre a novice.

Thought I’d give this a shot, but I am interested to see if anyone would be able to fix this figure . As you can see it is very ugly but I’m trying to collect every figure of this character and it’s unappealing appearance is what’s holding me back so I’m hoping to find someone who is able to fix her face and repaint all the chipped areas if possible. Looking to hire a painter to help me move on my Custodes army and reduce my pile of shame!

In terms of colour scheme it would be matching mine, which I outline below (will also supply pictures and models for reference);

• Prime with a zenithal from Black to White (Chaos Black and White Scar)
• Wash with Soulblight Grey
• Block out armour with Pro-Acryl Bold Titanium White
• Paint gold detailing with Green Stuff World Antique Gold
• Wash gold with Nuln Oil
• Layer purple with Luxion Purple and then highlight up with Sorceror's Cloak and Amulet Purple (both TTC paints)
• Paint Black with Black Templar
• Paint Blue with Talassar Blue
• Metal is Sir Coates Silver (Leadbelcher)

Now my budget is limited to between £400-£500 so to flip things on their head I'd like people to tell me how many models they could paint for that budget. I have the following;

I am looking for someone who is gonna be good at painting Black Armor, Pink, Faces, and Power Swords. That last one is particularly important as I am looking to get this very specific style done on the flaming power sword.

Not looking for Nonmetallic metal or anything like that. I am mostly looking for a bit above tabletop ready so she can stand out on the battlefield but not cost an arm and a leg to get painted.

I recently purchased the Slay the Spire board game, which comes with 4 minis of the four main characters. Each mini is approximately 1.5 inches tall. I would like to get these four minis painted so that they look nicer.
