first sings of balding

Im getting first signs of balding. Like loosing my hair , other people telling me , thinner hair.

What should my first steps be to reverse the damage and maintain my hair ?

Im thinking getting my hormones checked hopping on fin and using rosemary oil would be my next step.

should i add minoxidil too? And do yaal think that theire could be a correlation between my diagnosed depression and hairloss?

Looking to make a change

Really not quite sure what to do with my next haircut. Been doing skin fades forever which is nice but kinda want to change it. Thought about doing an undercut but not sure I can pull that off.

With my beard I’ve been going short with the bulk of it, like a 1 or 2, and leaving the mustache long.

What would I ask a stylist to get my hair cut in this way?

As title says, I have a very similar-looking hair type and more than enough thickness / length, I’m just wondering what exactly I should mention or if the image alone is enough to suffice; thanks!

Mpb by choice

Hey everyone,

I have quite unusual liking. I’m 27 and I like the idea of getting bald (although now I don’t have any signs of balding). It would make me look more mature and I like it. I would like to gradually and naturally make my hairline receded and I’m looking for someone who would like to give me advice, follow my progress and mentor me in this process. Especially someone who has receded hairline himself or knows how to make it in a natural way in someone else.

Only serious answers. Thanks a lot!

Should I reduce the length in the back or keep it growing? Thanks

Been letting this grow out since Feb 2024. Wife loves it but I am not sure how I feel about how long its getting in the back. Thanks for your advice.

Is minoxidil/finasteride really safe to use?

I've seen a lot of advice on here for balding people that's just "hop on minoxidil/fin bro, you'll be fine". So, as a man with a high likelyhood of balding kicking in at any moment, I decided to kind of look in to it.

It seems as though there are many gnarly side effects that make it kind of not worth it. For example: skin rash, heart palpitations, weight gain, deppresion, erectile disfunction, etc.

I know I shouldn't use doctor Google, so I was wondering if there are any knowledgeable people on here who could educate me further?
