Hi all,
Just wondering what everyone's options are on the half zip jumpers.
I'd be wear it with either a shirt or smart polo (the ones that are smother and have a strong collar), chinos, smart boots and a blazer.
Would these type of jumpers work for both polos and shirts?
Or would you prefer a roll neck style?
What brands sell quality knitwear and long sleeve options in 3xl
For those of you who have moved past simple backpacks, what bag do you carry daily? And what do you put in it?
I’m looking for something stylish to carry my daily stuff — laptop, gym clothes, water bottle, notebook, headphones & chargers etc. Any recs? Looking at the lower/mid tier price range around $300
Hello!
I’m still a novice in fashion but have been enjoying it so far. Even though I’m in a decent sized city, it seems a lot of cool clothes are more available online. For example I really wanted wide legged pants or high waisted pants and most generic stores didn’t have. Fancier places were either not stocked or super expensive and only niche styles. Most advice says to look online or use eBay or Debop when you know brands or styles I want.
This has been successful for me even though I was hesitant without being able to try on. There’s a lot of clothing sites out there. And I’ve noticed a strong preference for places that are more noteworthy and quality. Fast fashion has dominated the scene. Whether it’s clothes on Temu, Cider, or elsewhere if feels like the quality is down and the design is sort of algorithmically eye catching and manufactured to look “vintage” or trendy. There’s so many websites like these and I notice the fashion influencers I like on TikTok never go for these types. How do I tell which ones are good or authentic or fast fashion easily? I get so many ads on social media now for clothes that are eye catching but give me red flags.
How do you style roughout boots?
Did you dub/treat yours?
I'm not sure if they'll look good with light or dark jeans and they certainly won't look good with black jeans. They also give a more working class impression which might not be versatile as buying a pair boots in a chromed/shiny leather that could possibly be seen as dressy?
Those of you who own roughout leather boots- what do you wear them with?
Every time I wear a button up that should be tucked in but I don’t wear a coat with it, it looks idk not great. I’ve got a bit of a beer belly, I’m losing it, slowly but surely, but I just wanna know if there’s anything I can do to make these outfits look a bit better in the meantime.
I’m just wondering what other people are shopping for now that it’s colder.
Cheers
Fashion newbie here. I didn’t realize how dark the “classic navy” that people are referring to when talking about suits is compared to other articles of clothing. I know that navy is a spectrum and that there’s even “midnight blue” which can be darker than black. My question is are the first two suits even navy and would they be appropriate for weddings and business events/office wear? The last two photos are labeled as navy by Suit Supply and Spier and Mackay and are noticeably much darker. I’m not looking for a super versatile suit bc I already have a charcoal grey one, but want to make sure if I were to get one similar to the first two that it would be appropriate to wear in the aforementioned contexts.
my outfits have been feeling bland as I usually just wear black and dark grey and been wanting to look into accessories. Anyone know some good places online where i can find some good pieces at a reasonable price? Mainly rings and chains.
This is a dishonest company. Their clothing does not look anything like it does online. If you try to initiate a return, they run you around, hoping you will walk away and give up. Please do not make the mistake of ordering from this company—you will regret it!
I love sweater weather, but there comes a point where a proper coat is simply necessary to wear.
I just don't have a coat to wear over colorful/patterned/characterful sweaters, and especially cardigans. It can feel a little silly to wear my black winter coats over a bulky light blue button down cardigan that shows just under the coat.
It feels like I want a mid-long coat that's long enough to cover somewhat oversized sweaters without being a hyper formal long coat.
I'm just looking for suggestions as I'm in the early stages of sort of renewing my wardrobe and of all my clothing, coats are something I've gotten for function over style.
To add somewhat specific questions -
Does a knit coat over a knit sweater look fine, or a contrasting material?
Does a button down coat over a button down cardigan look off? I'm thinking of like the coat being open and the cardigan closed and it's difficult to picture.
Just wondering which is better quality…Banana Republic Factory or regular Gap?
I have noticed with S&M that their sports jackets, overcoats and suits are woven in Italy and England such as Lanificio di pray and Abraham Moon, but made in China. I have been health conscious lately and try to avoid China made due to their textile standards regarding chemical treatment etc. but also understand they need to make profit. Does anyone know how much of work for an item is done in China? Is it just stitching and packaging, or is it also dyeing and other treatments? They have this nice wool Balcamaan coat that is Woven by Abraham Moon and made in China. I am wondering if the wool overcoat has gone through entire process of cleaning and dyeing of wool before stitching and packaging in England and then shipped to China? Any insight would be appreciated.
What else?
Edit: I meant Vans Old Skools and checkered slip ons. Ya’ll getting triggered.

I'm thinking about buying loafers and currently I am in between chocolate brushed leather loafers(code: 2DE127_055_F0002) and brushed leather loafers (code: 2DG149_055_F0002) both by Prada and I was wondering, which pair is better or is there another pair from a different brand you would recommend?
Hey y'all,
I really dig the cut and style of a lot of Todd Snyder's shirts/sweaters. But I can't really justify their asking price for polyester blends made overseas. Looking for someone with cuts in that Med style (a la Snyder sweater polos) made from wool/cotton. Will also accept suggestions for poly blends if the price is poly blend appropriate. Thanks in advance!
I am looking for a winter parka for under $300. I live in Boston, but I don't need it to be the thickest, warmest parka out there; I run hot. I was looking at this one, I like the thickness, but reviews say the arms run short: https://www.thenorthface.com/en-us/sale/mens-sale-c317774/mens-lone-peak-triclimate-2-jacket-pNF0A833R?color=4H0&.size=L
TIA.
Hi,
I don't wear cologne but I do like the scent of Palo Santo body wash from Cremo as well as "Thieves Oil" which is an essential oil mix.
Any Cologne that has a similar scent?
Looking for business casual 14.5 non-iron dress shirts. Previously purchased from TM Lewin but not in the UK. Hawes and Curtis also an option but ship internationally and has a convoluted return policy in case something doesn't work out. What other options are there in the US? thanks
hey, y'all!
I've got a passion for fashion, and it's been a good 10 years since I started to focus on the way I dress. I've tried quite a bit of style/clothing from preppy, to emo/grunge to hipster/granola. while I've gotten several wonderful compliments from friends and random people, I feel as if I'm stuck in this fashion plateau, and my creativity to build newer outfits has not improved. I like patterns and boldness and I also love minimalism and everything.
I'm open to pretty much anything within reason. can you help me?
I’m curious what is the 2024 answer to the Steven Alan shirt: a nice shirt that isn’t too stuffy but still well made….I was thinking mfpen….
I have purchased these two jackets but I only want to keep one of them. I like both but can't decide if i should go for a grey one or black one.. I had lots of black jackets before I don't mind having one more in black as this one looks a lot better than my old jackets. But at the same time, I loved grey as well and don't mind trying something new this time but I don't know if its like an odd colour in general for jackets given that this jacket is kinda shiny..
I have been fascinated by leg warmers recently but I am curious if leg warmers are only for women. In a case, I guess I am asking if it is still seen as masculine if a man wears leg warmers.
Hi, im 24M and have had 0 fashion sense my entire life. I have never really cared about how I dress and would say 99% of the time, I'm either in sweatpants/baggy hoodie or a tank top and basketball shorts. So with that, I would like to learn how to dress better and have a few questions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
