Be respectful. Don't insult people. If you don't like a particular fit, give constructive criticism. Fat shaming and gatekeeping have no place in this sub.
This sub is for fashion advice. It says it right there in the name. There are lots of places on Reddit where users can get diet advice, /r/bigmenfashionadvice isn't one of them. We believe in body positivity and that anyone can look better with the right clothes / style. "Try losing weight" or similar comments will be removed and can result in a ban.
No self promotion. This isn't a place to promote your brand/blog/tiktok/store and our users aren't your free focus group. If you want to advertise on Reddit, go through the proper channels. Most places only go up to 64, but I need a size 66 suit. Any other options aside from King Size?
Forgive my timidness!
I'm a plus sized guy and I'm... positioned rather forward, if you catch my drift. I struggle to find underwear/pants/shorts/etc. that don't compress things to an uncomfortable degree.
I'm hoping someone can recommend some alternative(s).

I'm trying to find good business causal clothes for myself I'm 5'9 298, but I wear I have a 42 waist and very broad shoulders which makes shirts that fit well extremely hard. I do wear street clothes and I get them mostly from BooHooMan and Old navy if I can find stuff. Does anybody know any good brands for business casual clothing?
I need to refresh my wardrobe with some dress shirts for work. Mine are old and falling apart.
DXL is unnecessarily expensive so I'm trying Amazon. Any particular brand recs?
I'm a 4XL typically. Dress shirt wise, it's usually 20 or 22 neck and 37/38 sleeve.
Thanks!!
I love these Harbor Bay Continuous Comfort pants. I started with one pair and they fit perfectly and are comfortable, so I now have five pairs. I'm probably getting the shorts, too. Just thought I'd drop a recommendation.
Any recommendations? Something with thiccc and sturdy fabric that will hold up to ineitable profuse sweating and won't work to highlight my pudgier bits. Got some CK tank tops last summer and as an undershirt they work as intended, but lord give me strength if I need to take off my over shirt....
Hey folks! I'm looking for some B&T bowling shirts. None of the mainstream/brick-&-mortar stores I've used in the past have anything like that.
I've been searching online, but all the retailers that carry them have heavily mixed or downright abysmal reviews: kingsize.com, royaura.com, etc.
Where have other folks found them?
Here are a few examples of what I'm looking for:
Thanks!
.
What's a good source of examples for semi-formal garden attire? I'm attending an outdoor wedding in Italy this summer. It's in a villa if that matters. I'm also off thinking of doing my clothes shopping there or is that a bad idea? I arrive two weeks early.
Recently back in the dating game after 5 years and trying to find my old self again. I’m trying to find some new clothes that I actually like. I ordered these in a 4x and they just barely didn’t fit. When I’d relax my gut, it’d almost pop the buttons apart. Buckle has shirts like this in a 5x, but they all look bland and I want nicer colors. I really liked how it looked and was really disappointed when it didn’t fit.
Does anyone know of any company that has pearl snaps like this in extended sizes?? Money isn’t a HUGE deal, but I definitely want decent quality and feel.
I think I am down to LL Bean and Lands End. Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions? I am looking for a 2x tall version as well, I have a Psycho Bunny Supima Cotton I like a lot, but it was really pricey ($105), so looking for some a little cheaper but still decent quality. Thanks.
Hey yall. I'm 6'2" 350. Can't seem to get a decent athletic shoe that will hold up. Been buying cheapos because even the high dollar ones only seem to last a month or so longer. You guys had any luck with any brands no crapping out right away?
Edit: Lots of people asking why I burn through shoes so quickly. I should have included that I work in a factory. 12 hours a day on my feet. I've gotten to the point that I no longer differentiate between work shoes and work out shoes. Don't really have the money to keep two separate pairs.
I've put on some weight , currently at my biggest. I'm 5'10" weighting 295. Most of my weight resides on my tummy. Clothes shopping in store isn't great cause everything is slim or Athletic fit. New to this sub
I see lots of posts of swole and muscled up big dawgs, not hatin, but I feel like we got plenty of posts from big tall fellas that are under 300 pounds.
What about the BIIIG dawgs like me, 6' 350lb, strong, but not jacked or muscular. Very much fat. 4xl in shirts and 46-48 waist, depending. Big ol gut, big legs and thighs, not very long arms or legs, etc. I wanna know what y'all are wearing and what's comfortable for ya. Long time lurker here for advice and like I've stated I don't see a whole lot of folks on here that are my size and stature. So I'm curious:
All my big dawgs who are 300+ 400+ pounds, what are y'alls go to every day wear? What's comfortable and good fittin as far as t-shirts, jeans, shorts? What do you genuinely think you look best in and feel most comfortable in?
Please feel free to share everything. Boxers, t-shirts, jeans, shorts, hoodies, jackets, hats, accessories. I'm looking for any and all advice. Or if you just wanna show off, do it up.
Thanks big dawgs.
Trying to buy a suit for work. My belly is bigger than my chest. When I'm looking at size guides they say give chest measurements, should I measure around widest part of belly instead?
Also open to any other large man suit advice.
Has anyone here used shapewear (spanx for guys) what brand do/did you use, would you recommend, where did you purchase? TIA
6’1 220 lb man that has had to wear khakis that are 34-35 due to either my quads stretching out the fabric or the length being too short due to my butt. Any good recommendations or should I just have them tailored?
I need to get a pink shirt for a party. I am tall and very big. I wonder if I should go for a light shade of pink, or a darker shade of pink? Which is in style or goes with more wardrobe options?
