hi all, i'm looking to get my brother a new overcoat for christmas but am unsure of where to actually find ones that aren't super expensive but also not trash quality. he likes to wear trench coats, so i'm mostly looking for those, but i don't think he would mind a regular overcoat or something a bit shorter like a peacoat.
he's about 5'10, 330lbs. my budget is around $100 but i'm willing to go up to $150 if needed. any brand is fine, i'm not picky and neither is he. i'd also appreciate any recommendations for brands on amazon (since postal service is still on strike. i'm worried it won't be here in time for christmas if it gets shipped through that.)
thanks!
I’m between 2x-3x and most of the shirts this size and up have sleeves way below the elbows that just look super baggy in general.
I’ve looked into True Classic, Fresh Clean Threads, DXL, etc and not sure where to pull the trigger. Of course I’ve looked around other posts but haven’t seen anything here mentioning sleeve length, or the posts are old and then turns out the material has changed.
Does anyone have any recommendations for good fits specifically in the chest area (man boob shoutout) that have sleeves above the elbows? For reference I’m 5’10 about 270
I like bootcut because I wear boots but I want some bootcut that are baggy, any recommendations?
Hey big fellas-
I'm looking to level up my style even while chilling at home. I usually just wear basketball shorts at home since they're extremely comfortable to sit on the couch and just do whatever in, but then if I gotta run to the grocery store real quick I can't be bothered to change clothes.
I'm interested in getting some lounge shorts that function like basketball shorts but are better looking and more put-together looking while still being as comfortable as basketball shorts. I still want them to have an elastic waistband so I don't need a belt, and for them to have decent pockets that aren't an afterthought and can actually hold my phone, wallet, and keys if I make a run to the store. Does anyone know of some good brands/stores to check out?
Happy post-turkey day. Wondering if anyone knows about any decent Black Friday deals for the big men
Hey all. Just had 2 pairs of custom orthotics made for my work boots and for a pair of athletic shoes. They're gonna be cut down to fit my shoe here in about a week. Problem is my 2 pairs of tennis shoes are worn down on the bottom, so I'd like to get a new pair before I commit to cutting them to match my shoe. Looking for recommendations. Obviously I'll be removing the factory soles and replacing them with a bigger orthotic, so the shoe will need to be big enough to accommodate for that. I had a pair of orthotics in my last pair of work boots, and i walked a hole straight through the orthotic and the bottom of the boot in about 2 years, so bottom durability is pretty important.
I am an electrician, so I work in work boots - those are taken care of. As for how I'll use my athletic shoes, I like to go on walks (I don't really run) and I go to the gym 3 nights a week. I'll usually do 3.5 mph on a max incline for 30 minutes before every workout session and I figure that's the heaviest use they'll get, aside from long walks.
6'4 and 260 lbs. Size 13 shoes.
Dropped 50lbs down to 375lbs and can fit in my nice shirt and pants again🙌🏻
Just in time for Thanksgiving lol!
Vest: Shein (5xl) Hoodie: Nike (3XT) Jeans: American Eagle (40x30) skinny athletic Sneakers: Jordan 1 (Mocha)
I wear size 50 waist. And in the last 8 years (I'm 26) I've had bout 10 pairs of jeans that I hate how they fit and none that I actually liked. I've tried skinny style, baggy, normal fitting, etc. All of them are tight on my thighs, baggy at my calves, and too long. Anybody have any tips or just plain agree with me on this? It's hard to have good fits sonetimes when jeans are out of the question. My fits have been reduced to joggers, cargo shorts, and shorts... plus it doesn't help that stores think all big people are 8 feet tall 😂
Hey folks,
I'd like to find some more formal pants before I start my new job. Currently I mostly wear jeans, as I struggled to find chinos or slacks that'd fit my build.
I'm 193 cm and 135 kilos, strongman-ish type of build with thick thighs and butt (too many squats and deadlifts heh). My jeans are size 42/32 but with a lot of stretch to them.
Do you have any brand suggestions that carry chinos with a lot of stretch to them or make them for men with thicker thighs? Preferably EU brands, but if everything else fails I guess I could order from US.
Thanks!
It's been a bit since I've owned a "Life is Good" t-shirt... as I recall they were pretty soft and comfortable.
There are a couple holiday shirts I'm interested in, in an XXL.
Does anyone buy LIG shirts? Do they run average size, or am I risking a sausage-casing feel when I put a shirt on?
👌🏿
Hi all. Trying to start working out and I need sneakers at the gym. I also have wide feet so that makes a lot of the recommendations I’ve seen online not really work for me. I’ve tried the more squishy Hokas and Brooks running shoes but they make me feel a bit unbalanced sometimes. Thanks for any help!
I am 210LB and only 5'4. So needless to say I'm quite chubby/fat. I've been told I "wear it really well" for whatever that's worth. But I'm still a thick boy with really thick muscular legs and especially muscular thick calves. In the face, I'm a white guy so i have regular white people skin but I've been told by countless people that I look like I have some latino and/or middle eastern in me. So not sure about that. But I have a big head, I'm bald with full short beard, and yeah that's all I can think of looks wise. But because of the way I look I can pull off a good bit of hood brands and hood clothes. But I'm training and studying to become a fashion stylist and I've been obsessed with fashion since I was 12 years old and I'm 32 now. So I respect and want to personally wear as many styles as I possibly can to show off my eclectic fashion tastes.
Anyway, I recently got rid of A LOT of sneakers (and by got rid of I mean took them out of my wardrobe closet and put them in a closet I don't care about).
The look I'm going for is literally just whatever looks as good as humanly possible on big men.
And I am trying to narrow my sneaker collection down to 8 pairs of sneakers. I want to have no shoes that are the same brand too. And in this case only 1 pair of yeezys, 1 pair of jordans and 1 pair of designer shoes...which I already have all 3. So I don't want any recommendations that are yeezys, jordans or designer shoes. Oh yeah and I also don't want any completely all black or completely all white sneakers recommended. Because I already have those in my collection. But any and all other brands, colorways, colors and styles of shoes are perfectly acceptable : ) as long as you think they look really good on big men (Even though I'm not big just short and fat haha)
But this is what is currently in my closet after the annihilation of my shoe collection.
These exact stan smiths. (classic all white OG stan smiths with green heel)
These exact All Black Stella McCartney sneakers.
2018 Black Cement 3s
Yeezy Quantum in the Barium Colorway
Can anyone pls recommend a good pair of shorts for sports/gym/running etc.
Desperately in need of some new pairs, need to have pockets, have a decent level of stretch and not have that annoying inner lining so many pairs have. Ideally they would be 5 inch in seams as I find that more comfortable, basically a stretchy pair of rugby shorts with pockets, any advice is greatly appreciated!
I’m not particularly tall but wear a size 52 jacket at only 5’9. Weightlifter with a size 40 waist 50 chest bodytype.
My picture is dated and does not look professional. What tips do you have for someone like me?
