Hi All,
I’m 6’0” and 270lbs. I wear mostly Banana Republic polos and T’s and comfortably fit an XL. Could I expect Bonobos to fit similarly? Can anyone speak from personal experience?
I’m going to a wedding tomorrow, and I’m looking for something casual, simple and comfortable. Casual as in I definitely think a suit would be overdoing it, but my date will be wearing a dress so not so casual I look like I didn’t try. I always find button ups are very non flattering on me tucked in, and a little too casual untucked. I’d love to hear your suggestions! Thanks!
I over pronate and need a big toe box (ingrown nails and such). It makes finding a comfortable pair of slipper super difficult!
I’ve tried Ugg, Olukai, one of two of the LL Bean types, etc. Right now Croc’s aren’t horrible, just not my idea of a cozy slipper in the house.
Looking for store recommendations to help out my brother. He is 25 and typically just wears gym shorts and shirts because it’s easy. I want to help show him it’s important to care how you look and it’s also easy to put together a good outfit. Mostly shopping for essentials/basics for him within a fairly low budget. He lives in Florida so layering isn’t always ideal. I need recommendations on stores we could go into or things that I could order for him to try and return. I’ve had some luck with H&M in the past but he has to try things on because he’s only 5’8 so sometimes larger sizes look weird on him. Also one of the things we’re looking for is a fashion sneaker for a wide/ extra wide foot- definitely willing to splurge on those a bit!
Also any recs that you have on styling or fashion tips would be great!
Thank you in advance!!
I’ve seen some recommendations for high rise pants (10” or 12” rise) to wear above the waist, but they are usually some really pricey brands. Anything on Amazon that’s affordable? Just looking for everyday pants I can wear to work, nothing fancy. Thanks!
T shirt from kohls- 20 bucks Shorts- lululemon soft jersey 5” (I know they’re at my knees but I have short legs ok? Leave me alone 🤣) Shoes- new balance 990v6 Also, shutout to the redditor on this subreddit that recommend a plus size backpack. I mentioned it to my gf and she got it for my birthday, thing made a massive difference. Super comfortable and can’t wait to wear it to hike and to ride my mtb. Last but not least the model: 1984 model, imported from Mexico City
I've read a lot of stuff saying to stay away from boohooman because it's fast fashion, but they have some decent looking sweatpants, and I've had luck with sweatpants and joggers from other fast fashion brands.
I was wondering if anybody has any insight.

Just tried out this brand Regent Row. The fit is really good and the quality was definitely another level. I was wondering why they are over $60 for a polo but it feels amazing and they offer free shipping and free returns. They have this tech-infused fabric which feels incredible, fits really well and doesn't cling to my body. I have washed it a few times already and it holds up pretty well..
I've lost 15kg or thereabouts, and I wanted to get some more life from a pair of jeans (not cheap ones!), so I've 'installed' some button braces. It's such a weird sensation, but it's also a ton more comfortable than a belt, especially when driving. The looseness around the midsection is a strange sensation, and I worry my trousers will fall down. I had a bad experience with clip on braces a long time ago, but the buttons are solid (easy job).
I normally wear a webbing 'rigger' belt, but I've just bought a nice handmade leather belt too(which is actually too big, and needs another hole ... underestimating my waist change). I don't think braces will be an everyday thing, but I will certainly find a place for them.
I am Looking for track Pants not flannel with open bottom . Right now I need 2xl cause even at this they are tight in thighs , my waist is xl. Are there any track pants that are made wider in thighs
Hey, guys. I am a fashion stylist doing some portfolio building.
And I wanted to ask if anyone wants some styling help with their wardrobe or a specific event needed. I would love to help, in exchange for faceless photos of the work!
Please let me know if interested and DM, all sizes are welcomed and are wanted!
I gotta clean up a bit of the room I know.
I have just been invited to a Black Tie event this Sunday (11/10). I have "Out grown" both my suits. I'm not optimistic i can get something tailored in time. What is the option on DXL off the rack suits?
do you keep the tag on clarks wallabees
He’s around 6’0-6’1 and weighs 260 lbs but has lots of arm and chest, calf muscle. He likes to size up a little bit for comfortable fit in normal brands but just looking for something that he can feel comfortable in without having to size up, and also not feel tight/too snug.
Hey everyone -
This may not be cutting edge fashion because the thing I'm asking about is pretty conventional......I am a 3XL waist in most underwear and for years I've worn cotton (or mostly cotton) boxer briefs.
At first it was Jockey, because they had a solid waistband. A few years back they started to go with cheaper quality material. Then I was buying boxer briefs at DXL, again because of the thick waistband. But DXL (never my favorite for a lot of things) also changed waistbands and started making them smaller, so they flop down too easily.
Anyone have suggestion for other options that would be similar - and most importantly, have that same sort of larger, more solid waistband that doesn't flop down or fall easily?
EDITED TO ADD: Thanks for all the responses, much appreciated! *hat tip*
Has anybody found a way to keep dress pants from doing that thing where the button pops above the belt? My pants are forever falling down below my belly.
Well, it has come to this. It’s 80° F in November during the day, and 60° in the evening. I’m wearing a heavy cardigan, mid weight oxford, and light weight linen. What is a man to do when there are no transitional seasons? I want to wear my knits! I’m sure some stickler with a discerning eye somewhere would gasp at my fashion faux pas (/s)
