Does a textured fringe go well with a diamond face shape?

I'm thinking of getting a textured fringe but I don't know if it would go well with a diamond face. I also have like 1a type hair so do you have any products that I could use to get more texture?

Help regarding wavy hair please?

Hi! I am wondering if anyone know why my hair looks like this after showering. I have naturally wavy hair, it is soft but does not look soft at all? It looks almost lumpy/flat with no volume (especially at the top/scalp) mixed with frissy hairs, if it makes sense? If I brush it, i get the looks of texture and volume that I want, but the waves almost disappear.

I use shampoo every shower, then conditioner but sometimes switch to hair mask (that I also brush & rinse off) once per week. I shower hair every second day usually. (This time I also tried not using a towel at all (I never rub, just leave it in) and letting it air-dry while squeezing the water out to enhance the waves. No difference.)

What can I do? I have no experience in hair so sorry for bad explanation, if anyone needs more info I can provide it! I apologise for my English btw. Thank you!♡

Very best, least damaging, permanent hair dye I can order online or pickup? Tired of my increasing white hairs>>>

I don't have a lot, or else I'd let it go all white (LOVE that look!). I just have enough to make me look middle-aged drab. I may be middle aged, but I don't feel drab and don't want to look it either!

At the same time I'm trying to healthily grow out my hair and am looking for a quality product. What is the best dye you've personally found?

A most sincere thank you in advance!

How to style very long hair?

I have thick but fine hair (small diameter strands but LOTS of them) and it's pretty long, down to the small of my back. Most of it is straight but some of it has a small wave to it (2a/2b) and I find that it generally looks flat. I like to have volume near my crown and framing my face and I usually can zhuzh it the way I like but from behind and from the side it's too one-dimensional with no texture or dimension or anything. Is there a way to achieve more of a feel to it visually? Idk if I explained this in a comprehensible way but if not I can upload a picture!

Best shampoo for dry flaky scalp

Hi! I’m looking for a shampoo and conditioner that’s good for a dry flaky scalp with buildup, but won’t leave my hair dry. I have a silky hair texture and when I leave the hair salon my hair is always so soft and smooth, but I can’t achieve that on my own. I’m looking for a shampoo and conditioner that will bring out the softness and silky texture of my hair but will help my dry scalp.

I’m willing to spend a decent amount of money if it’s worth it! I currently use biolage scalp sync and it worked for a little bit but i’ve noticed that it stops becoming effective over time and doesn’t do much for the texture of my hair.

It’s been a year with no cut and I really want a new style!! All suggestions welcome! :)

This is my natural hair with no products or styling and it’s been about 3 days since I washed it! Like I said, I’m open to all ideas! Photo references would be greatly appreciated if that’s allowed! Thank you! :)

How to go about asking hair dresser to fix hair?

Hello! I have been going to the same hair dresser for probably 2+ years now, always happy with her results! This past Thursday, I got a full head of highlights with toner. She sectioned my hair in 3 sections to highlight - back, right front, and left front. I could immediately tell after washing that there was a lot of brassiness coming from the right side. She dried it and it was even more clear that she didn’t let that side develop as long. I think she noticed too because she kept mentioning how the salon lights can make it looked that way, but even as I got home and looked in natural lighting, it is clearly very differently toned on my right side - brassy. I feel terrible and should’ve said something at the appointment but it is awkward to bring up. I paid $205+ tip , and always tip her well. Should I call the salon and ask if it’s possible to get it fixed? 🫠 I feel terrible and don’t want to make it weird.

Whats my face shape and what haircut should I get

I cant really get a short hairstyle cause of some complex reasons but my hair is on the stiffer side and when its longer it just goes in every direction so I have no clue how to have it cut.

No matter what I do my hair always look like this after a shower

I am so frustrated. I spend hours washing my hair to make sure non of this dandruff/dry scalp white flakes are on my head and every time I get out the shower and look in the mirror doom there they are! I’m at the end of my rope. I’ve tried t gel, head and shoulders dry scalp shampoo, increased my rinsing time, done leave in conditioners on my scalp. I’m at my wits end here. I want to be able to scratch my scalp without it snowing all the time. Please tell me what to do.

Alternatives to Amika

For reference, I have long, naturally thick, highlighted hair that leans on the dry side.

Canadian here. Can anyone recommend me an alternative to my Amika Normcore shampoo and conditioner? They're made in the USA so they're gonna shoot up in price. My hair has never felt healthier since using it, so I'm hoping I can find something else.

Clarifying Shampoo

Trying to choose a clarifying shampoo. Has anyone tried Quai Detox Shampoo or K18 Peptide Prep? I use the K18 mask so I’m leaning toward the K18 shampoo. I have coarse thick hair and an oily scalp.

Hair before and after

Hi. I need to figure out what’s going on with my hair. I moved out of Asia to Europe a few years back and while my hair stayed straight, soft, and smooth, I feel like something’s wrong with it. I feel like it’s lost its shine, and tangles very easily. Also when it moves it doesn’t dance all together anymore, like they go to different directions (I don’t know if it makes sense) and also for some reason, I feel like like every strand is now a lot thinner.

I do have a few speculations on why this is happening but I want to get others insights:

  1. The water is hard. But I also lived in Asian countries with hard water but hair was fine. If anything I bought a water filter here but it doesn’t help.

  2. My scalp is dry (probably due to weather) but I’ve been oiling but it also didn’t help with the shine

  3. I’ve been cutting my own hair since I was 14. And always used regular scissors (I know it’s bad) but it didn’t do anything to my hair back then. Idk if this is now a reason why my hair seems dull.

  4. I used to go do Asian chemical treatments and although I know they’re harsh, they actually made my hair healthier! So maybe this is why?

Diet is not the cause because I’m eating healthier now than ever. I also don’t use heat on my hair. If #4 is the culprit, I don’t understand why all these expensive (heathy) hair products don’t do anything on my hair.

I recently switched back to Pantene shampoo trying to retrace my hair care method back in Asia but honestly I didn’t really care about my hair before. I wash it, I air dry and that’s it. Now that I’m using expensive products and I’m actually paying attention to it, its doing the opposite.
