Oooo, this one was fun to make. Portraits are always nice to draw and I feel like this one holds quite a bit in terms of content :)
I was debating on what Immortality meant in the Cosmere since the guy who made everything got shattered… Kelsier isn’t really immortal but I feel like with him making a religion out of himself, being called the Survivor and everything it fits pretty well. (Also him deciding that he wouldn’t die which is pretty cool)
We don’t really know what’s going on with Wit exactly so I wasn’t sure if I should put him in.. would have worked as well.
My first Cosmere book was The Way of Kings and as it was also a book that set of major events in the Stormlight Archive I felt it would be nice.
Also the prompt for today was very fitting, I hope eveyone that wanted their Bands of Mourning copy got it :)
Lift getting chased with some stolen pancakes
Hers and Adolins? (Putting spoiler down just in case :) )
"Hello! Would you like to destroy some evil today?"
I did so mich Stormlight stuff, so here’s something from Canticide
I haven’t read White Sands (probably going to wait for the prose version) so here’s something from Shallans first Ghostblood meeting
A man no longer blind to his truth waited at the end of an era, contemplating the end of all things. He sat atop the highest tower in the world, overlooked by the souls of the people he had murdered.
Can truth be taken from a man? Truthless.
Image description: A digital comic of Teft's third ideal from Oathbringer. Caption reads, "Teft huddled somewhere dark. Maybe the darkness would hide his sins." Teft huddles in the darkness, hunched over himself sitting on the floor. A glowing figure of a woman in a dress stands before him, then floats closer. She kneels down and holds Teft's shoulders. "Do you see it Teft? Do you feel the Words?" she asks.
Teft says, "I'm broken." The comic shows his face, a tear running down his cheek. He grimaces with his eyes closed. Phendorana leans in with a serious but compassionate expression, glowing blue. She says, "Life breaks us, Teft. Then we fill the cracks with something stronger.” He says, "I make myself sick." She says, "Teft, that's what the Words are about.”
In the next three panels he opens his mouth and says, "I..." Then he grimaces again, tears streaming down both cheeks now. He looks upwards, eyes shining with tears and starting to glow blue. From off-screen he says, "I will protect those I hate. Even... Even if the one I hate the most...is...myself." Phendorana smiles a proud smile as he says it. End ID.
I’m not exactly sure in which of the books the flashbacks took place and I’m not going to check now so I’ll just say era 1 spoilers.
Drawing Horseshoes in perspective is tough.

Little Gavinor has a score to settle, and he intends to honor it. Image description: A digital illustration of a darkened hallway of statues. At the end of the line is a tall statue of Elhokar in white stone, holding a crown and a sword and wearing robes and a cape. Blood seeps from one eye, the trail of blood meeting a massive wound in his chest which bleeds profusely down the stone, making a pool on the floor. At the bottom of the statue stands Gavinor, about age 3, wearing a little Kholin uniform with Elhokar's glyphpair. He looks upwards and salutes, his face lit by a golden light that seems to shine off the statue. His other hand loosely holds a little sword, made just for him.
I feel like this quote and this scene encompass what Honor represents and I just really liked Notum here.
