I've started reading Elantris and this is what my mind goes to when I imagine the victims of the Shaod.
Purveyor of all things snake oil and de ex machina…
Painrials and heatrials attract or repel pain and heat.
What do Scadrials attract? What is a scad?
Does a Scadrial flush toilets? Shouldn't they be called Scatrials?
Kaladin's issues are simple, man's depressed as fuuuuuuck, I can't even count the amount Shallan is lugging around.
Where did Taln learn to Soulcast?
How else do you explain where he got those solid Aluminum balls?
Now I'm saying Rust and Ruin and calling my coworkers 'storming slontzes' when they mess something up. My new boss tried to get me to do a task that fell outside of my remit, and I told him, "Kalad's phantom, man! What do you take me for? A lifeless?!?! You hired me as a cook! I'm a third son! Not to be wasted!" A party of 12 came in yesterday and ordered the full nine yards. I saw the slip and whispered to myself, "Ash's Endless Paintbrushes, Merciful Domi help me." Then, my coworker that was next to me said, "Colors, that's a large order!" They don't even read fantasy books, they just picked it up from me! Now, the entire kitchen staff is using Cosmere curses and they've never read a Cosmere book! Worst part of it is, my coworkers will use Preservation's Wings at a time when they should be using Rust and Ruin. And don't get me started on the one guy who began calling people 'stormers'.
But could you be fire?
