How important is Elantris?
Hi! New fan here. thinking about trying Elantris in a few days. The problem is that I heard it is not very good, kind of slow and all that. Thinking about skipping it, but I don't want to do that if it's imperative to the cosmere.
I'm also just super excited to get to other places like Scadrial and Roshar.
Anyways, please let me know if I should just push through on and visit the damn city, or if I should just skip it and go somewhere else more interesting in Sel like Fjorden or even the Rose empire.
Or maybe you guys think I should wait until that Reod thing is sorted out?

Proposal for Shallan Day
I think we should create an official sub holiday called "Shallan Day" where once a year the community comes together and just absolutely spams the crem out of Shallan memes, delighting (and confusing) everyone.
My thought is that it would be fun to do on April 1st every year, but I'm open to other dates.
