I am watching season 14 episode 8 of the OG CSI (titled Helpless), and we get a glimpse of the whiteboard. We see the names of all the regulars on graveyard, except Sanders and Finlay. We see Morgan's first name listed rather than Brody, and there is one other name: Cooper. I looked for anything about a Cooper and came up with nothing. Anyone know about this?
So I always watch the original CSI and I’ve noticed the marriagse:
Grissom/ Sara,
SuperDave/his Wife
Hodges technical engagement,
Doc/his wife
D.B/ his wife
Langston/his wife
Yet everyone else just has situationships
Then you look on the spin offs and even then NY Mi few there. then circles around again to the rest all end up in death or breakups
I get its drama, but can nobody be together?
Or did the writers just have the same luck in that department? Not offensive intended,
I’m curious if anyone knows the reason why plutotv streams the original csi differently from Miami and NY? Up until recently it showed season 1 - season 7, maybe a couple of beginning episodes of season 8 then restarts. Now, it shows season 8 - 15 (no ‘Immortality’ though).
7plus in Australia which is free has the first seasons of each CSI eventually they will add the other seasons
Hello! I've only had streaming service for Netflix and they don't have CSI but currently my family and I want to watch it together. So we're looking for a new streaming service that has CSI series. Our preferences are 1. CSI Vegas (2021), 2. CSI Las Vegas, 3. CSI Miami, 4. CSI New York I'm looking for streaming service because some of my family members need subtitles (but not in English). If anyone knows which streaming service would fit what I'm looking for, please be kind and let me know 🙏🏻
EDIT: Thank you very much to everyone who has commented so far. I realized I have not been specific about my location. I am currently in S.Korea (probably going to be here for another year or two) and may move back to Canada or move to England to another one of my family members. I haven't fully decided yet, however. I hope this can narrow things down. Sorry I wasn't specific in the beginning
Both cheers alumni actors Ted danson and John ratzenberger reunited for an episode on this show.
I marked this a spoiler just to be safe. I'm on Season 9 Episode 5. I know a lot of people don't like Sara and Grissom (I kinda like them. I have my own opinions) and I am bad at not checking the wiki when I'm curious of things and it says that Sara and Gil are still married but I've seen a few people say that they got divorced. I know as I continue watching it'll probably tell itself I'm just curious since I watch at a decently slow pace and forget to keep watching at times so if I never catch up on it all figured I'd ask.
hope someone can share my excitement that after me checking regularly for what feels like EVER, I’ve just looked and the entire show is on paramount+!!
does anyone know when this was added?! i’m sure i checked within the last month or so.
I’ve just watched this episode for the first time (approaching end of season 8 at the moment, no spoilers for later on please haha)
I don’t know why the content hit me heavily on this one. Honour killings are terrifying but a very harsh reality for many women. I felt so conflicted at the end because as brutal as it was, I do understand the mother defending her daughter. She only did to him what he was going to do to his daughter in the first place so while overkill for sure I do understand turning the whole thing around on him to defend her.
It’s such a complex issue culturally. It really hit me hard. I even felt as the mother confessed I wanted to cry and thought the CSIs themselves while they said nothing, understood the complexity of the situation. Beautiful episode and really made me think a lot about the poor women who live in fear of honour killings like this.
I just got to season 3 ep 1 from csi miami I cried that speedle died 😭😭😭
Does anyone know the dark ambient song playing while nick is cutting into the metal barrel? Driving me nuts.
So we jump from CSI Season 3 to 4 and Grissom has a full beard. Now I realize the actor just grew one and probably they just let it be but there is no canonical reason why Grissom, clean cut up to that point, would grown one. I know its minor but it's always bugged me that there is no official reason given.
I feel like I'm going nuts! I distinctly remember an episode revolving around stock car racing. The crew chief has two daughters, the younger one is a tomboy, the older one is dating the team's race car driver. She's pregnant and I can remember her sucking on pregnancy lollipops. The driver is a sweet, young guy. Help!
Update: figured it out! Despite being able to very clearly picture Grissom. This is an episode of The Glades.
Which episode had the scene where Hodges is examining some rope, gets asked if he has anything, he says "A frayed knot!" as a hilarious pun, and then has to explain both the pun and what he found on the rope?
I showed him Check in and Check out which is a personal favorite of mine and he enjoyed it.
I have some potential episodes in mind that I want to show my boyfriend to get him into CSI but i'd like some more suggestions.
If he ends up liking it, i would love to watch the whole series from the start, but for now I want to show him a few episode episodes so he can get into it since he's a little hard to impress.
Preferably interesting/ fun episodes that are mostly about just solving the crime and not too impactful story wise like main character focused episodes.
Rewatching again and just thinking Stella should’ve left after season 5….right? I mean she finished her storyline….or did I miss something, and we could’ve gotten Jo one season earlier.
CSI Vegas season 7 episode 7 - Post Mortem shows Greg attending a hearing regarding the death of a young guy who was part of a mob which almost beat a guy to death and was going to kill Greg himself. Greg ran one of the guys over with his car, killing him in self defense because that guy was running at him with a rock.
The mother and brother of the deceased boy were in the court room but they tried to manipulate the jury and the judge with comments on how great the guy was and what a good student he was. My thoughts are that the guy 100% had it coming and Greg acted in self defense, saving the other man who was badly beaten from being killed. If that kid was so good and had such a bright future, what was he doing hanging out with an out of control mob, beating people down?
The kid was also black so naturally,. they tried to play that angle too...
Wll I've only watched Miami so these are mine (I don't remember the names):
the one with the kid that was sa'd by her tennis coach...he deserved better
the one with the kid that murdered her mother bc she was an abusive monster and feared her
the one in which a kid is murdered by two jocks (I think? I don't remember well, but they were high school students) because the kid saw them smoking a joint
the one with the child beauty pageants
I really like the sad music that plays in the intro to the episode, however, I’m not sure the name of the song. Really appreciate all your help!
Hey CSI fans! I’m trying to track down an episode where Gil Grissom talks about the origins of guns, saying something along the lines of "the first gun was used to kill and their purpose hasn't changed since then." Any help identifying this episode would be greatly appreciated!
It's something I been curious about for a while and was wondering what you guys thought.
I just saying there are a lot of fun things they can do here as Chicago was the the surrounding areas. They could have been episodes in the various Museums, Stadiums, Restaurants, Surrounding Forest Preserves, Lake Michigan, and Landmarks such as Navy Pier, Sears/Willis Tower, and the Old Draw Bridges.
Ok so this might be an unpopular opinion but I think CSI NY had the most developed characters and character stories. I will admit I haven't watched much Miami but I'm not very keen on Horatio Caine. But anyway, with NY we know their backstories:
Mac was a Marine, so was his dad and his wife died during 9/11
Stella was an orphan and grew up in foster care
Danny has a brother and was at one point involved with tanglewood boys.
Flacks sister and his dad. We also meet his grandma in s9.
Lindsays friends being shot, the trial of their shooter and his execution
Adams dad being abusive
Why Sheldon left hospital work and became a coroner
Jo used to work for the FBI, has a son and adopted a daughter after her divorce.
Their stories all develop well over the course of the series too, especially with Danny and lindsay. They make mistakes and actually learn from them. That's why I think NY had the best developed characters.
What's the metal song in the episode "Ghost Town" of CSI?
I’m looking for an episode from one of the CSI series, though I can’t remember which one. The plot involves a female university student being targeted by a group of male students who are the main suspects. What I remember clearly is that they would follow a female student, then pin her down and forcibly take her underwear right in front of her as part of a prank or initiation. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any help finding this episode would be much appreciated!
Just watched it on TV some time ago, but didn't get the episode
Worst character? I hate all the side characters. I know its strong word and not taking away from the actors but Delco,Wolfe,Messer, Flack are all guys I would absolutely beat the shit out off even if I had time serve time. Absolute trash humans.
I've never seen this show, but I am a huge fan of internet cartoon Happy Tree Friends, and I know that CSI featured this USB drive of one of the characters from Happy Tree Friends. This is the only picture I have. The text says "CSI In a scene from the popular American TV show "CSI," a villain tries to steal files using a Flippy character USB." Anyone know which episode this is? Thanks!
I am trying to watch through, start to finish, but I cannot follow the characters’ plot lines, especially Horatio’s and Eric’s. What’s going on with this New York murder? Since when does Eric have money problems? Am I just not smart enough for this show??
