I love the exhibition game for the same reason that Gard does, you get the first picture of who is ready to compete. Best impressions were Crowl (he was directing when he was on the floor), Winter doing cool new things, Tonje for obviously being the most excited to be playing against any competition, and Janicki for taking his minutes seriously enough to trust going forward.
There were many lapses, but I'll leave it with positives for a game that doesn't count.
Always enjoy getting another fan base’s perspective on the matchup.
I believe he has one more year of eligibility. Do you think he will be back? Do you think they should bring him back or focus on Lock, Mabrey, or look for another qb in the portal..
Hey Badger Fans, Oregon Duck fan here. I am coming up for the game from Florida and am looking for fun spots to checkout on Gameday! Local bars that are recommended, tailgating? Does anyone know when the team busses typically arrive and where? Really looking forward to a game at Camp Randall, as I've heard nothing but great things and look forward to a fun game!
I was at the game Saturday and I was really disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm from the student section. It hasn’t been the same in years. I remember going to games a decade ago and they were much louder and into the games. Now it doesn’t seem like they care much. Anyone else feel the same way?
I’m thinking we will win two out of three from Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota and lose to Oregon. Finish the year 7-5. I believe this team is better than last year but still lacking the top level talent it takes to compete in the new big ten. Longo will probably be gone unless something drastically changes. We will lose a bunch of players to the portal and bring in a bunch again. The arrow is pointing up, just probably not at the trajectory or speed we all hoped.
Last little rant, and I’ve said this for years. Until we start recruiting at a top 15 level we will never be able to consistently compete against teams that do. Every team we’ve lost to this year so far recruits inside the top 15 every year.
This is going to be a murder in the form of a 14-3 pounding or something boring. Our schedule has been a bit much this season, but it’s going to be like that every year from what I can tell. Just hoping we can go 6-6 but that’s looking like a long shot given our offense.
Not a pity post but I just have to say that you guys are one of my favorite fanbase in all of sports. This is my third time in Madison for a game and every time I’ve been here the people are so kind to me it’s something I’ve never experienced at any other game. Everybody in this city is so friendly and respectful it just makes for an incredible atmosphere. You all deserve much more than the on-field product you’ve received.
Discuss and be civil
Transfer.
Take Longo with you.
Yes a couple drops early did not help his cause but he overthrew a lot and got very jumpy in the second half which led to the awful pick 6.
6:30 CT Kickoff
Game on NBC at Camp Randall
PSU -6.5, O/U 47.5
Be civil and GO BADGERS!!!
That's ten wins in ten games for the Badger ladies, as they built a dam that kept the Beavers away all weekend.
Laila Edwards also scored her 10th goal in as many games, and Lacey Eden added her 9th of the season. Seven of the top ten scorers in the NATION are Badgers: Casey O'Brien, Caroline Harvey, Edwards are 1-2-3, with Eden, Cassie Hall, Kelly Gorbatenko and Kirsten Simms also in the top ten.
Next home series is the weekend before Thanksgiving vs. St. Thomas. On Wisconsin!
I’m looking for the game against jerry tarkanian’s team. Badgers at Fresno St. 12-27-98 on WMTV
Howdy everyone! If you haven't listened before, we used to be a Pac-12 show and transitioned to Big Ten this offseason. This week, we'll be previewing all the weekend games, including No. 20 Illinois traveling to No. 1 Oregon, No. 3 Penn State's dangerous roadie at Wisconsin, No. 4 Ohio State hosting Nebraska, and all the action in between.

It's Homecoming Week. Games are at 7 pm CST on Thursday and Friday (Oct 24 & Oct 25th) evenings.
FIVE things to know about this weeks matchup
Anyone know of a Badger bar in NYC? I went to Mad River a few years back and had a blast but it's unfortunately closed now. Would love to find a place to watch the game when my wife and I visit in a month. Does Kettle of Fish (Packer Bar) have a good group for Badger games?
I got dunked on when suggesting him at end of last basketball season. We'll get to see a real clear view here from Badgerland at a comparison between Greg Gard and an up and comer who is killing it on the recruiting trail.
Big time make or break year for Gard. The odds and recent history would probably say break, I concur.
I’m not trying to knock him I just don’t understand how a supposed football genius didn’t get his first FBS job until the age of 63. JMU was an FCS school when he took that job. And he had a good record coaching in the lower level but it’s not like he was building powerhouses and winning championships. He isn’t coming from a non traditional background where it might have been hard for him to break into coaching. He played D1 football and his dad was a D1 coach too. You’d figure a guy like that would have been a head coach at a P5 school no later than his early 40s.
What do you think is going on here?
Looking at getting tickets for January, not sure which end the boys shoot at twice.
