Dan Lanning's methods of hiring people

Shouldn't we focus on that? Lanning like Fickell is known as a defensive guy but he knocked it outta the park with his hires.

He's another name for OC

JaMarcus Shephard. He's known as a strong recruiter and energetic presence, he worked under Jeff Brohm and Kalen Deboer and helped develop David Blough and Aidan O’Connell and Micheal Penix.

Twenty-three rushes for 37 yards. This isn't just a quarterback problem.

And it's definitely not "Wisconsin football."

Yeah, Locke's play was sub-standard all year. Minnesota might have been his best game (15 of 32 for 150 with no interceptions).

But the total inability to run the ball was the story of the game. Our O-line has been intact all year, but seemingly regressed over the course of the season. The team rushed for 149 yards against Alabama back in September.

I tend to agree with those who argue that putting the QB in shotgun every play was a mistake, one that reflects poorly on the coaching staff. Might have been Longo's plan, but Fickell should have overruled him if it was.

That's not Wisconsin football. That's not winning football, certainly not in the B1G anyway.

I expect Fickell is on the hot seat for 2025. More of the same isn't going to cut it.

UW women's hockey sweeps Maine series 9-0, 6-1, improves to 17-1-0 on the season

Just another couple days at the office for the best team in the nation. Kirsten Simms scored two goals in each game, Laila Edwards had 7 points on the weekend (3 G, 4 A), and Caroline Harvey matched her with 2 goals and 5 assists.

Oh, and Casey O'Brien added to her scoring lead with a goal and four assists; she leads the nation with 40 points (11 G, 29 A) in 18 games, or 2.22 PPG. Seven of the top 20 scorers in the nation are Badgers (O'Brien, Edwards, Harvey are 1-2-3, Simms 6th, Eden 9th, Hall T-16th, Gorbatenko T-19th).

Badgers finish up the first half of the season with two games in Mankato on Friday and Saturday, December 6th and 7th. No doubt good seats still available if you wanna road trip out west.

Why do Badger fans think Jim Leonhard is the answer? If he were, wouldn't he be a head coach somewhere else by now?

Badger band

If anything makes us feel better can we appreciate how good the band sounded all season. I was a huge Michael leckrone fan and was sad to see him retire but Corey has this band popping!!!

Some optimism:

At least I hope this is the case. If the Badgers try to trot Locke onto the field next season, I'm straight up not watching
