Hey all,

I just moved here recently and was wondering where some good spots to shoot firearms are at. From a smaller area, where we had an unsupervised range with a bunch of berms, no range safety officers or pay required, where anything goes basically.

Looking for a similar range, hoping to shoot rifles and handguns. I personally just prefer to not have someone breathing down my neck and I trust my fellow man to not blow my head off or leave trash everywhere. Does this exist in this area? Thanks.

I'm trying to get into the comedy scene here, I've signed up for the comedy on state open mic 6 weeks in a row and haven't gotten a spot. Not complaining or anything just wondering if there are any other spots in the same vicinity and what the sign up procedure is like for them. Big thanks.

New WI voter here and new to voting in general. We moved in August and I voted via Mail in Ballot that was dropped in a drop box. A week ago my absentee status said my ballot was received but now it’s back to “start here to request an absentee ballot” and it’s showing that I have no voting history. I know that it says it may take 45 days to show up, but is it normal to have absolutely no record of me voting in this election?

If you’ve voted in WI let me know if this is how the website normally is or if I should be concerned.

I just used it a couple of weeks ago and it was showing aisle numbers and bays of items. I tried using it again today, and it wasn't showing them anymore. It was just saying things like "freezer" or "dairy". It was set to the specific store I was in too. Am I being dumb and just not seeing it?

I spent 15 damn minutes looking for the pre made quiches, found and asked an employee who didn't even know what a quiche was, then gave up and went to pick n save. Bonus question, where are the quiches located? Lol

I just found out I’m expecting. I was told to get on daycare waitlists early, so I reached out to several places that I found online. Middleton Baby & Childcare has been the first to get back to me, and said they could schedule a tour next week.

Prices are steep, and they’re a bit out of the way, but they have a 5-star YoungStar rating and have been established for a long time.

I’m struggling to find online reviews. Would anyone (pretty please) share their experience with this provider? Should I jump on this? I’m still waiting on three other places that also have high YoungStar ratings, are a bit cheaper, and a bit closer, but who knows if any of them will get back to me.

A few events recently, including the election, have made me want to receive first responder training. Stabilization, CPR, emergency first aid, etc. I'm hoping folks here can recommend a good place to take a course and get certified, etc.

Edit: Thanks for these. I'm starting with an adult/pediatric first aid/CPR/aed course through the Red Cross and I'll ask them for recommendations for other courses there! I'm also super tempted by the wilderness first responder course.

Hi, my wife and I don’t get too many opportunities to go out without the kids, but tonight is one of those opportunities!
