Here’s one for the experts! In Trader Sam’s (ETB at least) there’s a mellow, instrumental version of the Hawaiian War Chant. All the Apple Music and Spotify playlists sub the version from the ETR LP.
Has anyone seen this track elsewhere??
Cool pineapple lamp, its about 6.5 tall! vintage but unsure of date. It was made in Hong kong
I love the Tiki Room so much, the song is my ringtone!
Aloha friends! I just wanted to post up a rep for my good friend Mark AKA Trader Duck, who makes AMAZING tiki mugs out of his home in Massachusetts. He's been a one man show for years now, designing, sculpting, firing, glazing and more an ever-growing selection of really awesome and very well made mugs. He has some great pop culture and Disney themed mugs, but also some just "general" tiki ones as well. Most of them are made to order, though he also has a few pre-order mugs open a lot of the time. If anyone is interested, check out his site: https://traderduck.com/ - he has a big sale going on this month as well, so it's a great time to grab something cool for you or your tiki ohana.
Hopefully this belongs on this sub! I like history of the origins of things, as well as finding inspiration for my own tiki setup, so in my research I found lots of inspiration in Disney's Tiki Room but am a bit confused in having what I'm aware as being a ritual of only one tribe from Ecuador represented in Pacific Island theming is something I was wondering if people knew the origin of.
This mom and her child couldn’t tolerate the level of drip in my whip a few days ago 😅😂
I think it would be awesome if Disney decided to make an animated film of The Enchanted Tiki Room if their new Haunted Mansion movie is successful. I could see it being entertaining, especially if the main four birds (Maybe including Rosita too) were the main characters. What do you guys think?

Hi r/TikiRoom! I am decorating a bedroom to be Tiki Room themed and I am having some trouble finding a certain item. I am looking for a 2-3ft planter that looks like the ones that hang from the ceiling with the singing flowers (pictured below). I already bought fake flowers and greens, so I am just looking for a planter/boat/wooden object that looks like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
