This morning I was able to book all the LLMP’s and LLSP’s I wanted and at the times I wanted (for 3 park days)…and then I realized that I forgot to check “select all” and had left off the other four members of my family on EVERYTHING, super fun morning 🫠

I think I was so focused on getting what I wanted and at the right times that I wasn’t even paying attention to how low the price was.

I called Disney in absolute desperation and a CM helped me fix every single ride the best she could 😅🤦🏻‍♀️

Buying tickets through conference link

My brother is a physician attending a medical conference at Disney World this summer. We were planning to go on a family vacation with him while he was there and we’re working on planning all the expenses. He told me he had a link to a Disney World page for the conference where you can buy tickets at a discounted rate thanks to the conference. I checked out the link and went all the way to the checkout page, and wasn’t asked to verify anywhere that I will be attending the conference. Does this mean I can buy my tickets through the link even though I won’t be attending the conference? Or does he need to buy all the tickets? Has anyone else had experience with buying conference rate tickets?

Rate my table service selection for my trip

I’m heading to WDW in September 2025. Of course, I’m already planning my dining. It’s a college graduation trip for me (26F), and my mom will be there for part of the trip. No kids. I’m staying at PO French Quarter. I’m a huge foodie, and love to try new places. I haven’t been to Disney since 2021, and that was really a Universal trip where I ubered to Disney parks for two days. Now, I’m actually staying on property and am very excited! I will be there for 8 days, with four days in the park! Due to my dietary needs, I will not be doing any buffets or all you can eat meals as they are not worth the price point. Here are my top choices.

-San Angel Inn @ EPCOT. This is the only one on my list that I have been to before. Food is decent, nothing incredible, but really enjoyed what I got several years ago and I adore the ambiance.

-Sanaa @ AKL. I’d love to see the animals! I don’t know what I’d get, but I hear the bread service is good! Out of all of these choices, this is the one I’m most likely to cut.

-Homecomin’ @ DS. I know, I know, but it sounds really good. I’m from the PNW and we don’t know how to do chicken here. It sounds like a fun, quintessential DS experience.

-Wine Bar George @ DS. Considering this in lieu of Homecomin’. I really want the cheese that they set on fire. I hear good things about the burrata, too. Since I’m staying at POFQ and there’s a boat to DS, there could be a chance of heading to DS on the day I arrive as well and I could do both.

-Yak and Yeti @ AK. Food looks great! Don’t know much about it! I will be doing AK solo, so it could be fun to take a break and enjoy a meal.

-Kona Cafe @ Polynesian. I haven dreamed for years of trying Tonga Toast. I’ve tried making it at home with my deep frier from a Disney cookbook and it was incredible. I can only imagine that the real thing is even better.

Obviously, I have a long time to go til reservation time, and who knows which ones I will be able to snag. What are people’s opinions on these choices? Anything I need to add? Anything that I should cut? I’d love to hear suggestions! I’m also very loosely considering some kind of Fantasmic dining. I’ve never seen it at WDW. I haven’t looked into to closely, but from what I see, none of the HS table service restaurants that come with the package are all that great.

TIA ☺️

Help Finding Spirit Jersey

I purchased this spirit jersey for my daughter this last weekend at Connections in Epcot and I’m kicking myself for not getting the matching adult size. However, I can’t remember if I saw the adult sizes of this at Epcot Connections, or over at Disney Springs at DisneyStyle or World of Disney (maybe at another shop, it’s a bit of a blur). I’m convinced I saw this in adults but can’t remember where to direct a friend to purchase for me. Anyone at the parks now and spotted this?

Frozen hot chocolate martini

Anyone have an idea on how to make something similar to the frozen hot chocolate martini in France? I'm still thinking about it a week later!

Pineapple Lanai Food Poisoning

**Below might be gross to some

FYI if you had a pineapple dole whip from pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian around 1245 you probably had something spoiled. By the time I finished it I didn't feel right and have had chills and projectile vomiting since 4pm and now just dry heaving every 15 minutes. Is there anywhere to report this? Based on what I ate up to that point it was definitely the dole whip.

At least my two toddlers have been very understanding lol

It’ll be around 11/noon on a weekday so not too crazy. Just wondering what the fastest route was

A Very Chilly Trip Report (11/30-12/8)

Time for my trip recap! We wanted to go this week because we’ve always wanted to see Christmas at WDW, and were hoping the crowds wouldn’t be too bad—and honestly, they really weren’t terrible. We went during the cold snap, and we were definitely a bit unprepared for it, but it was still better than a heat wave.

Party: 4 adults.

  • We had two ECV users, one of whom has a personal scooter and needs it almost 24/7 (can walk short distances), and one of whom needs to alternate between walking sometimes and sitting sometimes. For this one, we rented from Walker Mobility. They were great!
  • We also have a DAS user who doesn’t ride anything more intense than MMRR.
  • I’m the only one who does rides more intense than 7DMT/FOP.

Lightning Lanes: Purchased both LLMP and LLSP (only for rides my party members would ride) for everyone in our party, including our DAS user.

Hotel: AoA (Nemo suite 12/1-12/8, Little Mermaid 11/30 because we added this night onto the trip to save on airfare). Will do a suite every time, because our DAS user sleeps with TV on and a nightlight and I prefer darkness and quiet.

Saturday 11/30, Arrival (12.1k steps)

Arrival day. We had a late afternoon flight and got to MCO about 7:15. Got a rental car, loaded our luggage and an ECV, and drove to AoA. I was already checked in via the app, and a bell services cast member helped us get the baggage to our room. (People are right about the walk, it was a lot after a long travel day, and we weren’t even in the last building.)

Grabbed a pizza and some desserts at the food court, checked out merch in the AoA gift shop, and walked over to Pop’s gift shop for the resort Christmas pin (I’m a pin trader who goes to events, so I stocked up on a lot of LE pins this trip).

Sunday 12/1, Disney Springs (15.7k steps)

Woke up early to transfer rooms—had spoken with a front desk CM the night before who slotted our reservation for a room that was already open, so I got the text at about 8:30am that our room was ready).

After transferring our bags, we took our rental car to Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast at Boma—delicious as always and got to enjoy the resort decorations before going back to AoA and unpacking.

Walker Mobility delivered our rental scooter, and we went over to Disney Springs for a bit. Hit up a few shops (World of Disney, Pin Traders, etc.) before dropping packages back at AoA.

Got on the Skyliner after dropping our bags and went to the Boardwalk area. Once the sun went down, it got cold. Still got to try the giant mozzarella stick (because they make these fresh, the wait was very long), and very much enjoyed it despite the cold. Walked around the Boardwalk for a bit, including grabbing some fresh desserts from Boardwalk Bakery, before going back on the Skyliner.

Monday 12/2, Epcot (20.2k steps)

  • Remy’s right at park open (LL)
  • Garden Grill Breakfast (great food and great character interactions)
  • Living with the Land (DAS, but it was only a 10 minute wait)
  • Soarin’ (LL for 3 of us, our DAS user went to do Moana: Journey of Water)
  • Moana: Journey of water for all 4 of us
  • The Seas Pavillion (2 of us, other two went shopping)
  • Nemo (LL, 2 of us only, other 2 still shopping)
  • Communicore Hall to check out Festival Merch/try some snacks (gingerbread milkshake w/ vodka whipped cream is very good)
  • Meet Mickey & Friends (DAS)
  • I went by myself to pin trade underneath Spaceship Earth and ride Guardians (LLSP) while the other three went to the World Showcase. Guardians was down until 12:40 that day (I got in line about 2:40 for a 2:45 LLSP and the LL was an hour wait because of the backup.) I also had a VQ for Guardians (group 57) to try to ride twice. It was never called and I got the notification they wouldn’t be able to accommodate it at about 6:15 pm.
  • Frozen (DAS)
  • Walk/snack around World Showcase. Some favorites: cheese empanadas from Mexico, raspberry dole whip from Refreshment Outpost (these are big, though, I’d split), mint ice cream macaron sandwich from L’Artisans des Glaces. We caught some of the Norway storyteller and picked a pearl in Epcot as well.
  • By this time, it was very cold. 2 members of our party left, and the other two

stayed until fireworks (we only survived bc of the Joffrey’s hot chocolate). We had an 8pm LL for Living with the Land, but we couldn’t make it up there, and just stayed on WS lagoon for fireworks. We took the Skyliner back and it took a very long time (about 1.25 hours) because the ECV line was moving slowly. The CMs were doing Herculean efforts to keep it moving, though—they kept pulling people from the ECV lines to go to standard gondolas (they used the same precautions of stopping/locking), and I heard them on the walkies explaining which gondola numbers had ECVs in them.

  • Finally made it back to the room a little after 11 (too late for a snack from the food court) and went to sleep.

Tuesday 12/3, MVMCP

  • Nothing in the morning, so we slept in later. Mobile ordered from Landscape of Flavors for breakfast.
  • 2 people went to Walmart in the rental car for hats/scarves/gloves/more sweatshirts, given how cold it was the night before, and two of us stayed in the room. Would’ve gone swimming if it wasn’t in the 50s (not that it stopped a bunch of kids from being in there).
  • I enjoyed some time by the pool bar despite the cold, and the other member of our party slept in until about 1.
  • We left for the Christmas Party at 2:30 and were some of the first people in line at the MK gates. They let us through about 3:45. We then did:
  • Met the gingerbread men at the park entrance. Super fun photo op.
  • Photopass in front of the castle (timed it right so that we got the fireworks of the castle show in the picture! Shout out to the cast member who took our pictures.)
  • Spring roll cart in Adventureland
  • Haunted Mansion (DAS)
  • I ran to do Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (standby) because it was only a 20 minute wait while the other members of our party did Small World (DAS) and looked in some shops
  • Tiana’s (standby) – just me for this one, and I hit it at about 5:55, when they were switching over to the party queue, and there was literally no wait. Beautiful views of the park right at sunset.
  • Jingle Cruise (DAS)
  • Meet Ariel & Eric – we got in line at about 6:45 and were the absolute first people there. This was the #1 M&G for our DAS user, so we were thankful for the outside queue and low crowd.
  • Gaston’s Cookie Stop – delicious eggnog (honestly, haven’t even tried the cookie yet)
  • Photopass pictures in Fantasyland/requested a DAS return time for Anna & Elsa (wait was an hour)
  • Grabbed some snacks from Friar’s Nook—my #1 snack was the sugar cookie hand pie, and I thought it was delicious.
  • More photopass pictures
  • Anna & Elsa M&G (they were wonderful)
  • Cosmic Ray’s Cookie Stop
  • Tried to shop in Star Traders for event merch, but they didn’t have the pins/shirts we wanted. First parade was going off, so we didn’t want to do Main St. shopping yet.
  • The Lunching Pad Cookie Stop
  • Stitch M&G in Tomorrowland (just 2 of us, others went across the park to get the other two cookie stops)
  • Space Mountain – just me for this one, others went towards Main Street.
  • Emporium for party merch, and man, it was crowded. Nightmare for our DAS user, who had to go back outside.
  • Spot for fireworks on Main St. outside of Crystal Arts
  • Fireworks
  • Jack & Sally M&G (we DAS’ed this while we waited for fireworks)
  • Mickey M&G (DAS, after the 10 minute limit was up)
  • Parade spot at the very end of Main St./parade watching (this got super delayed because the lead float was down and they had to bring out a machine to pull it). We practically froze as well—the kind of cold where you can see your breath.
  • Quick stop in the Confectionary while crowds cleared before going back on the bus to AoA.

Wednesday 12/4, Rest/Springs (12.4k steps)

  • We took it easy this day, sleeping in and getting breakfast from Landscape of Flavors.
  • The two members of our party who went shopping for gloves went to exchange something at the outlets while the other 2 slept in/relaxed. They had the personal scooter in the rental car, so we agreed to meet them at Disney Springs.
  • Went to Disney Springs at about 2:30. Our original plan was to take a resort bus over to GF to see the gingerbread, but DS was so empty that we ended up staying and doing the Christmas Tree Stroll and just really enjoying the decorations of Springs. Took our time going through many of the stores, and made it all the way to the very last tree (Lion King–my favorite).
  • Dinner at Homecomin’. Absolutely delicious.
  • Considered going over to GF, but we were tired and needed to get up early for AK, so we just went back to AoA.

Thursday, 12/5, Animal Kingdom (20.5k steps)

  • We woke up early but not rope drop early—left AoA at 7:45 and park open was at 8.
  • Got to AK, scanned in, and had a quick stop at Creature Comforts on the way to the Safari.
  • Safari (LL). This one was excellent, and we got to see the new lions and the baby elephant.
  • Breakfast at Kusafiri
  • Na’vi River Journey (LL)
  • Flight of Passage (ILL for 3 of us. DAS user went to walk the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail.)
  • Festival of the Lion King (LL). I timed this too tightly when booking and the ECV seating was gone when we made it back just as the LL was about to expire. Not great seats and our DAS user came close to having to leave early. I should’ve done Pandora first and then gone to Africa.
  • Train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch
  • We got there just as Timon was coming out—I was the only one who wanted to meet him, so I went to hop in line while the other 3 went to the Affection Section. Walked past the animal care team working on a bird in the animal hospital section as well—very cool to see.
  • The Animation Experience. We drew Goofy!
  • Meet Rafiki—just me again, and timed this one perfectly.
  • Affection Section (again)
  • Train to Africa—mobile ordered Satuli on the way
  • Satuli Canteen lunch, along with the Na’vi Pretzel from Pongu Pongu
  • Quick look around Pandora shops
  • Feathered Friends in Flight (LL)
  • Discovery Island Shops and watching some of the Merry Menagerie
  • Everest x5 (first one LL, other 4 single rider—this one was again just me). Took advantage of the literally empty single rider line; it only took about 25 minutes to ride it 5 times in a row. (We did get stuck for a minute going up the big hill on the fifth time, and that definitely made me tap out.)
  • 2 members of our party went to meet Chip & Dale in DinoLand while the other one went to walk the Asia animal trail.
  • Walked around DinoLand and then Discovery Island again.
  • Right at park close, watched Awakenings on the Tree of Life.
  • Back to AoA for Landscape of Flavors dinner and rest. I also walked around the resort a bit, which explains my step count.

Friday 12/6, Hollywood Studios (20.9k steps)

  • I woke up before everyone else and managed to snag a 10:45am Oga’s reservation as a surprise for the Star Wars fan in our party (we had a 9:30-10:30 and 11-12 LLs in Toy Story Land, so timing was tight, but we made it).
  • Got to HS just after park open
  • Alien Swirling Saucers (LL for 3 of us—other one went to Woody’s Lunchbox)
  • Breakfast in Galaxy’s Edge (3 of us wanted Ronto Wraps, other one got Woody’s Lunchbox tots, and we split two lunch box tarts)
  • Slinky Dog Dash (LL for 3 of us, other 1 watched Muppet Vision 3D)
  • Oga’s Cantina for the best drink I had the entire trip. I’m still thinking about it.
  • Toy Story Mania (LL)
  • Photopass on Echo Lake
  • 50’s Prime Time Lunch (Fantasmic Dining Package). Delicious as always and I’m still thinking about the PB&J milkshake.
  • 2 of our party went to go catch the Frozen show (DAS), while the other 2 of us went to meet Darth Vader
  • 3 of us rode Millenium Falcon (LL), other one watched Vacation Fun
  • 2 of us rode Rise (LLSP) and stayed in Galaxy’s Edge for a bit, other 2 shopped
  • Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway (LL)
  • Mickey & Minnie M&G (DAS)
  • Tower of Terror (LL) – just me for this one, and got it at about 11:30 or so after seeing it out of LLs earlier in the day. It was initially down when I walked over there, but it was back up about 10 minutes after I walked into some shops.
  • Grabbed some bowls from Fairfax Fare and walked into Fantasmic (dining package seating) about 45 minutes before the show. Dead center seats at the very top.
  • Fantasmic
  • Left park after Fantasmic—could’ve gone to wait in more ride lines, but we were dragging.
  • Skyliner back to AoA was much faster than our Epcot night, with way less people in the ECV lane.

Saturday 12/7, Magic Kingdom (23.9k steps)

(I know, MK on a Saturday. But it really was our only option with the Christmas Party schedule, and it was actually really nice to end our trip with it.)

  • Got to MK about 35 minutes after park open, and noticed Space Mountain had a 5 minute wait, so I ran over there. Got on it with no problem—a fun way to start the day. The other 3 walked over to Frontierland (our first LL was Tiana’s).
  • Walked through Fantasyland, grabbed breakfast at Friar’s Nook, and took it to Frontierland.
  • Tiana’s (LL). I had made this for 3 of us, but 2 of them thought it was too cold/too high up, so it was just me.
  • Capture Your Moment Photo Session (this trip was a present for 1 of our party graduating from college). The cast members were so attentive and kind.
  • Under the Sea (LL)
  • Meet Ariel (DAS)
  • Philharmagic (standby)
  • Haunted Mansion (LL)
  • Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch. Still thinking about the dessert.
  • Enchanted Tales with Belle (DAS)
  • SDMT (LLSP for 3 of us, other 1 hung around Fantasyland)
  • Pooh (DAS)
  • Storybook Circus shopping
  • Dumbo (DAS)
  • Main Street shopping, including the create your own popcorn, and castle pictures
  • Jingle Cruise (DAS)
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (LL for just me), other 3 watched Tiki Room with Dole Whip
  • Pirates for 3 of us (LL)
  • I grabbed a Dole Whip from Aloha Isle and crossed in front of the castle to get to Tomorrowland
  • Check-in for Fireworks Dessert Post-Party. This line was long and it was so incredibly crowded by Tomorrowland Terrace. Wanted to do Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor before we got to our seats, but it took way too long.
  • Spot for fireworks. Close to the castle, but a bit obstructed by the topiaries. (The ECV section had a number of people, unlike when we did this in August 2023 and we were the only people in the ECV section.) Still, we’ll do it every time because our DAS user can’t manage the crowds for fireworks.
  • Happily Ever After—we all get emotional during this show.
  • Fireworks dessert party. They had a CM come lead the post-party people out of the viewing area once enough of the crowd had dispersed—super nice to have a guaranteed path to follow. Desserts are good, and the wine was especially good—we each grabbed a few glasses to make the tickets worth it, haha.
  • Tron (LLSP) for just me. It’s infinitely better at night. 2 of our party went shopping and then back to the hotel, and our other one went back to the hotel. It was very cold again.
  • Buzz (LL). Just me because I wasn’t quite ready to go back yet.
  • Peoplemover (standby, walk-on). Felt like a super fitting ride to end this trip on.
  • Emporium for some last minute merch/waved by to the castle/enjoyed the ambiance on Main St. before the bus.

Sunday, 12/8, Departure (11.8k steps)

  • I woke up early to finish packing and then took all of our purchases to the AoA gift shop so we could ship them home. (I was clear with everyone that they had to keep their purchases in the bags with the receipts, and it made for a much easier time for the CMs.)
  • Walker Mobility picked up the scooter and I got a luggage cart and took all of our bags to bell services.
  • Skyliner to Riviera for Topolino’s breakfast—absolutely excellent and we were blessed with a window seat.
  • Skyliner back to AoA, hung out in the lobby for a bit while we waited for our time to go back to the airport.
  • Returned our rental car, checked bags, and through security with about 2 hours to go before our flight.
  • Had a pretty easy flight back home, got home, and passed out from exhaustion.

Overall thoughts:

  • How we stayed warm: layers. For every park day, I had a dress that reached my mid-calf, athletic shorts under the dress, a spirit jersey on top, and a jacket and blanket in the scooter baskets for later.
  • Every CM was absolutely wonderful, especially with our ECV user who can’t stand for more than a few minutes, letting her get as close to the ride as she could before she needed to transfer/getting her a wheelchair for rides that couldn’t accommodate.
  • Be prepared for whatever you need to relieve foot/leg pain. I alone went through 6 pounds of Epsom salt, a tube of epsom salt lotion, and a box of localized pain patches.
  • Disney brain will get you at some point. Had a moment where I tried to move one of our scooters without the person in it and nearly ran it into a stroller. Everyone was fine and I apologized, but it was so stupid of me.
  • Pack your patience. In MK on Saturday, we saw so many irritated, angry people, including two parents (of separate children) yelling at each other over stroller placement outside the Tangled restrooms. It’s not that serious.
  • Be okay with missing some things. I missed Three Caballeros in Epcot, both animal trails in AK (this one made me sad), Star Tours in HS, Indiana Jones in HS, and Peter Pan & Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor in MK. Physically pushing myself/my family to do more wouldn’t have been good, though.
  • Memory Maker—always worth it. We have over 300 high quality pics.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go back—even if our wallets can.

Should they get rid of Virtual Queues?

I can’t fathom what benefit there ever was to it but it needs to go away. The fact that certain rides are only available if you have a smartphone and app ,excluding guests who don’t have either, just seems wrong. There should be standby for every ride. Agreed?

Santa at Magic Kingdom

Has anyone seen Santa at the Magic Kingdom during regular park hours this year (NOT during a party)? There were a ton of articles that came out earlier in the season about how he would be at Magic Kingdom during regular park hours, many saying "check for times in December", but a Meet and Greet isn't showing up in My Disney Experience. We're APs who have always done our kids' Santa visit at Disney and are trying to gauge if we should change our MK reservation on Sunday to a place where we have confirmed a Santa Meet and Greet.

Thanks!

Resort Recommendation - Boardwalk vs. Riviera

We are just getting back from a family trip with our two young kids (2.5 and 9 mo), and I am booking a bounceback offer for next year. We stayed at Bay Lake Tower (typically stay at Contemporary) using our DVC points. Our trip next year will be a quick getaway for my wife and I while we save our DVC points for a year and to let our kids get a little older before we take them back.

Our plan is to get in on Sunday the week before Thanksgiving and either do Hollywood Studios or Epic Universe Monday, then Epcot Tuesday for F&W. We had a blast at Jollywood Nights, so we may do that Monday if it's an option instead of Epic. I have a very similar price option of a Boardwalk regular room vs a Riviera Preferred Studio. We have never stayed at either so we really can't go wrong, but I figured I would see what you guys have to say. This is a quick, adult only trip, so as much as I want to stay at Riviera I'm thinking the walkability of Boardwalk may be the best bet. What about everyone else?

Fantasmic Pre-Show during holidays: DisneyMania songs or Christmas Music?

One of my favorite parts of Fantasmic has always been the DisneyMania tracks that play before the show starts, and this weekend is the first time I’m headed to the parks during the holidays. I wanted to ask if any of you know whether this year they still have the DisneyMania tracks during the holidays or if they swap them out with other songs for the Christmas season. Thanks for reading!

Port Orleans Riverside construction

Booking our first Disney vacation for myself wife and child (3 yr old) and we were loooking at port Orleans riverside with a royal guest room river view. When going to price it out there a notice of construction:

From early April 2025 through the end of January 2026, Guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area. From early April 2025 through the end of January 2026, Guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will undergo refurbishment. From what I saw on the map magnolia bend is not where the royal rooms are. Is it close enough that loud construction will ruin our time there if we book a trip with a royal room there in that time frame next year.

Any other tips appreciated as well. We were thinking may, or if not ,some time in the fall.

Sunshine Flyer vs. Mears Connect vs. Uber/Lyft

Which is better and why? Does the Sunshine Flyer follow a certain route? Does Mears connect? What’s the difference between MC and MC express? Help! Thanks!

Edit: it’s seeming MC & SF are the same thing… disregard that element lol

Gone, but Forgotten

With so many beloved attractions having been replaced, what are some that you felt needed to go, where the replacement was a definite improvement?

Which is better in your opinion

Getting a seasonal pass and going 1-2 times a month to Disney with 3 year old. Or take annual well maybe once or twice a year longer trips to Disney? Which one is more “magical”. Does anyone ever get tired of Disney if doing the annual pass?

Holiday Splash - Walt Disney App

I love the festive holiday splash screen on the Walt Disney app. I thought you all may love it too, so I took a screenshot. Enjoy!

Be Our Guest closed certain dates in February?

We're trying to book dining for an upcoming trip and Be Our Guest has no times available for these select days, but the days before and after are really open. Does anyone know why this might be?

Santa at Hollywood Studios

Has anyone went to Santa at Hollywood Studios? We are going to HS on Saturday, and I see he is there with a virtual queue.

Does anyone know what time the queue opens? It’s not like the ride VQ, you have to give your information in person to the people at Santa’s workshop, which opens at 10am. Would the queue open before then or at 10am?

Just trying to get in early enough that we aren’t waiting too long, we are trying to park hop and want to be at Epcot in the afternoon.

Thanks!

Christmas Party

Totally failed this weekend. Going to Disney World on Sunday and Monday with my mom for Christmas and I totally dropped the ball and realized yesterday that it’s during the “Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party” and of course the tickets have been sold out for some time. Still gonna love the trip and enjoy the magic of Disney but very bummed to be missing the firework show at the castle as it was the one thing she was looking forward to most.

Anybody who has been, is it as fun magical as it seems?? I’m a Disney adult on the surface and a child at heart so I’m pretty easy to please. I’ve been to Disney at Christmas but never during one of the after parties.

Lightning Lane MP vs Early entry

We have a 2 week stay at WDW coming up on 21 December. Splitting time between Port Orleans Riverside & Grand Floridian.

There are 9 of us travelling from UK. We’ve visited in the summer before but never at Christmas. We know it’s going to be busy (whether we’re prepared for exactly how busy, only time will tell!).

Our window to book lightning lanes is approaching.

My question is with 2 weeks to play with, do you think early entry will be enough for us to avoid having to use Lightning Lane Multi Pass. We’re likely to do the Individual Lightning Lanes for Tron and Guardians but with 9 of us at such a busy time, I’m not sure how successful we’ll be ‘playing the slots’ with Multi Pass.

This will be the last trip we ever make as a large family so money is less of a issue than making sure we get to experience everything.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

MK After Hours

Thoughts on MK after hours? We have 4 park days planned and I was considering doing after hours one of the days so we could ride popular rides without the wait.
