Hey folks
I’m on the hunt for any vintage Disney Golf Resort merch or photos/art. Disney had an amazing logo and can only imagine some of the funky old school rope hats, visors etc this was on. Given this is a pretty niche subset of Disney collecting I’m not even sure what exists.
Happy to have a conversation if you know or have any starting points outside of ebay etc.
Hello - looking for onsite recommendations for my son (4) and I. I would like there to be a pool for us to have down time when we arrive and one day in between the parks.
Thanks-
Sorry if I use any incorrect wording in this post as I'm not super familiar with disney or disneyworld. My friend is a huuuuge disneyworld buff, can tell you literally any fact about the park. We went for seven days and just got back yesterday, it was a real special trip for her. I personally was entranced by Three Caballeros Gran Fiesta. I bought the loungefly, a shirt, and rode it multiple times. On the ride home she asked me to look up what "imagineer" worked on making the ride to see if she recognized them but I couldn't find it anywhere. Just wondering if anyone knew or if it's unknown.
Does anyone know if the Spring Roll cart is open during the Christmas Party? It’s the one thing my wife is really looking forward to, and I’m not sure if we need to get to the park early for them or not.
I have these old admit 1 passes from a conference that was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID. I was hoping to finally redeem them. Anyone know if they are any good/how to redeem them?
If I am in the park and want to get the ornament, can I go to any of the distribution points? Or do I have to go through the main street entrance?
Dropped off our stroller at the parking area and a kind CM asked if we were heading to the show and said she had special seating for us. Got picked to lead our animal section and thoroughly embarrassed myself trying to make an elephant noise, but had loads of fun sitting up front. The girls loved being able to see everything up front and it was cool seeing all the details of the costume, makeup, and dance routines. Thanks Sarah for making this happen! (and before anyone asks, yes we definitely gave her a cast compliment!)
Nate is Great.
My daughter has really gotten into spotting Hidden Mickeys at the parks and has asked for a book to help her find them for Christmas. So much has changed at the parks over the last few years, so I’d like to find something that is generally recent. What’s your favorite?
I thought Pop Century food court refurbishment ended in November but it says the coffee shop is under refurbishment through April 2025.
Anyone have insight/pics of what that looks like?
Going next week and I’m curious 💕
Thank you all!
I’ve never been to Disney. I moved a few years ago to the US. I’m celebrating my 30th in January and my only birthday wish is to see the castle and fireworks that day. I know that the parks are huge so can anybody tell me what I should absolutely see when I go visit? I am not huge on rides but I just want to sightsee and do touristy things!
Edit: Thank you so much for all the suggestions! Me and my super close friend booked our plane tickets today and it makes me 10x more excited!
I was like 5 or 6 when I went but I’m not positive what year my family went. Can anyone definitively say what year this book is from?
Have a trip in January/February and across both those months I'm not seeing any Rose and Crown reservations for the fireworks package only SpiceRoad?
Is this common? Does Roes ans Crown not have their reservations open till later or do they not do fireworks on less busy months? I've been up for both my hotel dates 60 days in advance and even started booking a couple minutes before the start time. So I really don't think it's a me issue.
Hi everyone,
I booked a stay at Pop century with a preferred room for next November and was super excited to stay at a skyliner resort for the first time. Unfortunately the day after booking I noticed on the Disney website they are doing a big room refurbishment till 2026. I was wondering for those who have stayed at a resort with construction how bad it was? Or have you cancelled the booking altogether?
Any advice is appreciated!
looking at the back of my energy drink and seeing it's POG flavored. it's the pink pipeline punch juiced from monster.
I didn’t realize that dining reservations opened before 60 days for resort guests and there are no reservations available for CRT for our trip.
I purchased mouse watcher but what is the chance of snagging a reservation between then and now?
We are going to WDW the first week in February and they released the discounted rooms for AP holders.
We have a reservation at the Grand Floridian but every time we call they say there are no discounts even though the website says there are.
Anyone have tips on how to actually score the discount?
I’m not even sure if this request is possible! My best friend is on her way to Disney to celebrate her fortieth birthday with her husband and kids. I wanted to send something to her hotel but she hates cake! Loves ice cream cake though. Does anyone know if and how I can have ice cream cake sent to her room? Thanks so much!!
For those who have done this event…do you get kids (8-11) enjoy it? Or is it more an event for adults?
I had originally grabbed the link to reply to a comment but the post has gone, so I thought I'd share here.
I've been waiting for this since Easter, when my family and I planned this out. We started planning to go years ago and now it's almost time!
This coming summer the following rides will be down or likely down for the expansions planned:
Big Thunder Test Track Tom Sawyer (most likely) Riverboat (most likely) Dinoland Dinosaur Aerosmith (likely) Muppets 3D (likely)
That means a lot of people who would normally be on those attractions will be out and in line for others, making the wait times longer in general. With all the construction, is it even worth going this year? Universal will have an entirely new park open while WDW hobbles through construction. Maybe it’s time for a year or two off? I’m worried the trip may be a waste considering all of those listed above are actually some of my kids’ favorites.
We went to Disney when my oldest was 15 months old and we all actually had a good time. He was just starting to walk and waddled around the parks during early entry, I did genie+ for the rides I really wanted to do with him like Pooh, the jungle cruise, and the animal kingdom safari. We stayed at the swan reserve and enjoyed the pools and boardwalk and playground too. He fell asleep after dinner in the parks and we could see the fireworks when we got back to our room. The flights were also fine, he slept both ways.
I'd love to take him back in February when he'll be 27 months old. Now we also will have a 5 month old. I am a stay at home mom and during the day I put the baby in a carrier and play with my toddler. I know at 5 months baby will be more awake, but we have a double stroller with a bassinet option so he could either sit in the stroller, the carrier, or bassinet. Plus, I'm thinking we'd do half of the day at the pool or hotel anyway.
The other difference now is that we would probably stay at the Art of Animation in the family 1 bedroom option, and I've never stayed there before so I'm not sure how it compares to the swan reserve.
Has anyone done a Disney trip with these ages? How did it go? My husband is nervous, but besides the packing and the flight I don't think it can be much harder than parenting alone at home like I do every day. This is our only vacation of the year and I would love to go to Disney as many years as possible before my kids start to refuse (2 boys and my family is way more into hunting/fishing than amusement parks and stuff so I think my years are limited).
I'm taking a solo trip in a couple weeks. Cramming as much as I can into 4 nights, 3 days. 1st full day at Universal. My 1st 2 nights I'm planning on POR for boat access to Disney Springs and vibes. My 2nd 2 nights are currently at Pop Century but I'm wondering if it might be "worth it" to splurge on one of these other resorts. Is Jellyrolls open every night of the week? I want to check out Cake Bake for reasons and I'm thinking my last day before flying home is my only good day for that. I don't want to worry about getting back to a hotel to grab an Uber to be at an airport by 1:30pm.
If you were to splurge on one of these resorts for about $700/ night, which would it be? Or would you stick with Pop?
ETA- I have an afternoon reservation for the 8:15 EPCOT Candlelight Processional on the 3rd/last full day.

I used to work in Resto in Dinoland. I got to visit today, and documented some of my favorite artifacts.
So many of the rocks and camp awards in the "Hip Joint" make me laugh, and ones like this make me wonder who was running Imagineering in '98.
I love so much about Dinoland, and am genuinely sad to see it go. I get the area deserves change, but in my mind dinosaurs are a lot cooler for everyone, and doesn't necessarily need a strong IP tie-in.
I do have a few questions after looking thru Dinoland in-depth, like the inside jokes about Daddy-O and Animal....
Thankful for the dino-mite day I had, it was good to say goodbye. If you have any pterrific memories you'd like to share of the area, I'm all ears.
Hi friends, I am thinking of going to WDW in Fall of 2025, not for a vacation but for the college program. I heard about the Cake Bake Shop, and my school is somewhat local to the original in Carmel (my school is near Lafyette area of Indy). For any other Indy locals: How does the Disney Cake Bake Shop compare to the Carmel location should I just eat at the Carmel location before I graduate in May? Thanks in advance.
