I really enjoy shows that have a sort of coming of age and/or figuring out life vibe. Other things I enjoy are found family and feel good energy. I enjoy watching characters move through life, figure themselves out, and grow. Some shows I’ve really loved
The Bold Type, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Heartstopper, Love Victor, My Life With The Walter Boys, Ted Lasso, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Sweet Magnolias, The Good Place, Parks and Rec
Just saw afterlife recently and I absolutely sobbed like a baby, can someone suggest shows like this PS I have watched Bojack horseman too so something similar would be much appreciated thanks
I loved I, Claudius but I'm having trouble finding a show like it to watch next.
My bf has cancer and is very sick.
I need something to really get into to help me forget forawehile. I have watched most of the girly shows,
Virgin river Sweet magnolia gilmore girls gin and ginny firefly Chesapeke Creek Little fires everwhere Maid OC
There must be some older shows that were good. I have Hulu and Netfix. Thinking I need to subscrive to hallmark. they have girly series
'
I really like the weird paranormal aspect of both shows, combined with the fact that they have to survive. Sort of similar to Dark in a way. Idk, any recommendations like those shows that I mentioned are appreciated.
Looking for shows like Band of brothers, Live(Korean police drama), Descendants of the Sun. Basically a show about grunts and lower level officers in military or police... Could be drama or action or even comedy. Also from the POV of the uniform serviceman and women so not shows like Narcos or something... Please suggest.. Could be any language/country
Hello guys, what are your comfort shows!? My current ones are
Which ones are yours? Would love to add some to the list to binge watch after a long/rough day
Recently watched Lilyhammer and wanted to watch more . Please shoot anything that’s related to Medieval nordics, world war Nordic ,but no supernatural, superhuman and vampire stuff
I need help to find similar shows to Atypical, Never Have I Ever and Heartstopper. Does anyone have any?
These are the series i found it has similar vibe with it.
Midnight Mass (2021)
True Detective Season 1
The Third Day (2020)
If possible somewhere in UK, Ireland, Appreciate it.
Dark maybe the best show ever created in the sci fi/mystery genre. It is short, well written and amusing, keep the audience on the edge of their seats!!
Does anyone have any recommendations for shows like Stranger Things?
I also like the shows: Cobra Kai, The Night Agent, The Recruit and Florida Man
What were some of the greatest, past TV shows ever made, that epitomized the idea of being a "thinking person's" crime drama / cop show, and still hold up today?
I've heard about shows like Magnum P.I. or Miami Vice, but is that just nostalgia speaking, or do such shows still hold up?
Maybe something gritty like The Wire?
Any shows that you can think of? Thanks.
there’s a lot of media where the father and the daughter have a very wholesome and heartfelt relationship but i’d like some recommendations for something that’s more complex and kind of devastating (ex: elena and victor from one day at a time, fiona and frank from shameless, etc)

Hey all, Netflix has SUCH a huge collection now my mom is getting lost in options instead of actually watching 😂
Anyway, prefer clean shows (GMA doesn’t like cussing) but it doesn’t have to be squeaky clean. She also doesn’t care for sex but they have seen plenty of it lately. Also prefer it be in English.
They’ve watched:
Virgin River, cable girls, cook of castemere, downton Abby, sweet magnolias, call the midwife, the crown, shows like these.
They watched the Bridgerton side show about the black girl and crazy king (can’t recall name) but I told them bridgerton would be TOO much sex for them.
Any thoughts, thanks in advance! Oh and we have Prime and Hulu as well.
Trailer park boys, weeds, sons of anarchy, under the dome, better call Saul, breaking bad, outsiders, shameless, Yellowstone and shows associated with it, animal kingdom, ozark, the office, snow piercer, 60 days in, Jericho, the mist, the watcher, outer banks, Malcom in the middle, moonshiners, ultimate Alaska, alone, flying Alaska, railroad Alaska, skinwalker ranch, AP Bio, suits, survivor, see, the 100,
Always like post apocalyptic, adventure, comedy, action, thriller
Hi, i just wanted to be recommended shows that focuses on the government, preferably where the main character(s) are somebody with a lot of power (King/Queen, Prince/Princess, President, Congressperson, Prime Minister, Supreme Leader, etc). l'd like something with a more realistic portrayal of politics, but l'll still accept series that can seem over the top and goofy, like White House Down (I know it’s a movie but it’s the best example of what I was talking about). I’ve seen The West Wing, Madam Secretary, Designated Survivor, House of Cards, and The Regime, so I would very much appreciate suggestions that are similar to those shows.
Any suggestions for shows like these 2, I really loved watching supernatural too basically anything where the 2 main leads are men who have a bromance going on and they’re hot too 😭😭😭😭 pls I need SUGGESTIONS I loveeeed watching Mike and Harvey and their whole thing and then dean and Sam they were adorable and Peter and Neal ughhh Neal is SO HOT I love him. But NO GIRL COMING IN BTW THEM I HATE THAT TROPE 😭
mike and molly
kings and queens
Me and my dad love shows like designated survivor, and once upon a time. Movies like Brewster’s Billions, Instant family, Inception. We have a hard time finding movies and shows that don’t have sexual scenes. Any suggestions ?
Shows I watched and loved are The walking dead, breaking bad, the rookie, but still havent watched too many shows. Dexter is probably my favorite out of these shows, any recommendations?
Also I really love mystery, horror, comedy, drama
thanks for all the suggestions
Hey, guys. Wanted to ask about your thoughts on the new 'Good Times' cartoon series on Netflix, and give my thoughts too. The father in this one, is the grandson of James Evans..so this is a couple of generations down. But the family structure is the same(father, mother, younger brother, older brother, sister as the middle child). The youngest son in this, is an infant, but he is a drug-dealer! Michael, in the original, we know was very much against drugs, and especially against them being sold in the black community.
For those that have watched some episodes of this,...what major differences do you see between the original characters and their counterparts on this new cartoon series?
