Perfect blend of spy action with dark humor. Great pacing and writing.
I adore Killing Eve and, in particular, Sandra Oh's emotional and complex character arch. Toni Collette also gave a very powerful performance around grief in the show Wanderlust. I would love recommendation about shows that focus on women with a good backbone (I hate spineless characters) processing and expressing their rage and/or grief.
We want something I haven't seen, unfortunately I've seen everything from Buffy to Dresden Files to X-Files to an number of super obscure shows. But please drop some suggestions!!
These are my favs. Could you please suggest me “the most bingeable” crime/mystery tv shows?
I finally have an indoor treadmill and found out that I really enjoy watching a T.V. series while running...this is about the only time that I watch anything, so I'm pretty new to watching T.V. shows... I'm really not sure what's good. I just finished watching LOTR rings of power, and I'd like to watch something along those lines. My criteria is suspensful, thrilling, but not horror and no nudity or sex scenes... It's not my thing and I'm kind of sick of being blind sided by it. I don't mind gore, but I'm really not into over-the-top, gory just because.
Are there any horror TV shows released now? Or is 2024 Halloween a dry season for horror tv shows? I can remember last year there were like 3 or 4 horror TV shows released at this time.
Well if nothing else please just recommend any horror tv shows that could be fun to watch.
I'm feeling low these days and i need light-hearted and short dramas to binge watch

i have been on a tv show stump after shameless 😩 (i loved it sfm! 😞🫶🏼) so, i’m looking for some new shows to dive into, and I’d love to get recommendations based on some of my all-time favorites.
The aesthetics of that show are very spot on what I would like to watch right now, but as a show it’s a bit more serious/dramatic than what I’m feeling. Maybe a bit more action/mystery/fantasy etc. Don’t necessarily want it to be set in a similar time period.
A good example would be the first season of Netflix’s Sabrina or the first episode of Dracula (2020). None of them were excellent, but they fit my vibe to give you an idea.
Animated shows are welcome.
Movies are also welcome.
Looking for a show for my 2.5 year old to watch while I clean but streaming services are down on my tv… does anyone have this issue? Just looking to watch bluey 😫
I have watched so many shows in my lifetime, but this is one of those that has stuck around with me.
The cinematography, script, acting, cast, direction. Everything was made to perfection.
I am on my second rewatch and even though I understood the importance of what happened and the actions taken to help the situation… I am now really grasping that without those actions, some parts of the world would have been truly different and so many more would have suffered.
It is a 10/10. In case you are looking for something of substance to watch.
I was watching One Piece for a while! Just finished Live-action Netflix one and Loved it!
Planning to watch more of the anime!
It's SO fun to watch, mainly cause of unique colorful character designs, so many different types of people/creatures/avatars/outfits/abilities/journeys/hopes/dreams/fighting styles/friend making styles/purposes/things they are good at etc.
If it wasn't like this, I'd probably never continue a show with a THOUSAND plus episodes!!
What other TV shows or Movies/Anime (I know it's TV related sub, but if something like this comes to mind, feel free to drop a reply).
Thanks in advance!
One Peace! ✌️🥰 I don't know why I said that, but I'm owning it! 😃
In my head I'm thinking of the two netflix shows Santa Clarieta Diet and Dead To Me, they both have a very light comedic vibe and in typical netflix fashion have a lot of crazy twists and turns/cliffhangers.
And thank you in advance 😌

It's a mystery, character driven and imo leads to serious introspection. My partner and I watched this together and ended up discussing our relationship on a deeper level. We would often discuss the "what if", not because him or I have done anything like the dramas (spoilers) that happen, but the show makes you really think about empathy, partnership and loyalty. I don't want to say anything too much but I want to emphasize the loyalty and how people who truly love each other can hurt each other. Or maybe you have a different opinion? Which makes it sooooooo interesting.
I find it easier to watch and get invested in for some reason when the main character is super pretty, (for reference im a girl 😂) so i really like Wednesday, the good place, one tree hill, the oc, shameless, gossip girl, Gilmore girls, friends, new girl.
The new tv show rivals has me in a chokehold I never thought I’d love mid 80s England as an era setting ins tv show and I was pleasantly surprised. If you’ve watched the show you’ll know taggy is a young women with dyslexia who is a fond lover of animals and is very self sufficient Rupert is a 40ish year old retired sports champion playboy prime minister for sport who sleeps with anything with a pulse. The two have underlying chemistry the whole short series and I am on of many who are enthralled with them anyone who’s watched have any similar recommendations
Ted Lasso
The Bear
Normal People
Sex Education
Shrinking
Emily in Paris
So I want to watch shows that are close to the heart with great positive characters. These shows give off all the positive vibes I wish for(except Normal People but it's the best). I need more positivity right now. A good tear jerker is fine but not too sad that I wanna sit and cry. Other than these if there are any other great ones I shouldn't miss that are not too known like GoT or Breaking Bad, hit me.
We got kill tony on mondays (not necessarily TV) and SNL on saturdays. The rest of the week i'm sulking in sadness from the lack of good comedies. Anything else that produces comedies routinely is either too political like late night talk shows or just plain old corporate commercial TV cringe. Any recommendations?
In no particular order
Hope you enjoy!
My partner and I are not big into horror movies so tonight we were thinking of watching halloween themed episodes from different shows, could be anything from Family Guy, Frasier, Scrubs, Gilmore Girls, Simpons (Treehouse of Horrors), IASAP, etc..
Tell us your favorite halloween themed episodes and we’ll add it to the list
we need help with finding a show for the three of us to enjoy watching together. I'll give some examples of shows we each vibe with.
62f favorite show is Mad Men. a couple others are The Handmaid's Tale, Ozark, and You. really likes liam neeson
32m is yours truly. some of my favorites are Twin Peaks, Mr. Robot, Haunting of Hill House, Dark, Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, always sunny
65m really enjoyed Game of Thrones basically up until the last season, The Boys, Boardwalk Empire. i think he likes nic cage
collectively, we really enjoyed watching Fargo together. also, we are watching The Penguin. pretty dope but 62f doesn't vibe with that one as much. any suggestions would be great, thanks!
I am about to finish the first season of Arcane, I couldn't get my self to watch the last episode but I am finally going to. usually I struggle to finish show that I like because I'm too attached and afraid I won't come across another good show. any recommendations based on some of my favorite shows: arcane vinland saga amphibia infinity train the promised neverland season 1 scavengers reign attack on titan over the garden wall mob psycho 100 i tend to lean more towards animated shows however im not against any live action recommendations
This show is so much fun to watch. My husband and I love it.
