We're over from Australia and will be in Manhattan tomorrow....also staying in Brooklyn. Any suggestions of where we could go to watch the game with other Isles fans? I did see the Offside Tavern post and sounds like it's a non event these days???? Or is likely to attract a bit of crowd given its soon closing? I did go to the original location once, have no idea where current one is

I would have looked at Finley in there for USA as well personally. Will be interesting to see how they all do. Nelson and Eiserman are projected to be on the same line with Connelly.

Another couple of players to potentially to pay close attention to (in addition to the big guns in Hagen’s, Martone, Schaefer if we somehow won the lottery) are:

• Logan Hensler
• Viktor Eklund

Projected around the 8-10 range which is where we sit at the moment for an nhl draft point of view

Retool, get younger, acquire picks…. While we sat pat for the last 2 years and rotted away. We should have been making moves last year. Literally everyone on this team should be tradable at this point… don’t give me excuses most ntc’s are limited. Could have gotten a kings ransom for brock w 2 years left. Could’ve moved palms, jg and varly. Rangers are light years ahead of us as an organization and it’s sad.

The Power Play.

This year: 12.2% (Last)

23-24: 20.35% (19th) 23-24 Playoffs: 3/11, 27.7% (Solid, small sample)

23-24 was also the year our previously strong PK fell off a cliff. PK 71.9% (LAST)

22-23: 15.77% (30th) 22-23 Playoffs: 1/18, 5.56% (Last)

21-22: 22.12% (12th) - no playoffs

Ever since the ECF runs (where a dynamite powerplay probably would have helped things), this team has been fine 5 on 5 and do a lot of their work 5 on 5. The Power Play being mid-last in the league just sucks. With an up and down PK to boot, those games where both teams are getting power plays we just end up losing, same with 3 on 3. Anybody have the isles 3 on 3 record? 🤣

I want this team to do better, and to do so they need to find some way to get a decent powerplay without sacrificing the PK.

If you could step into Lou’s slippers for a day and make a trade for the Isles, who would you trade and for what in return?

Hello, my family and I are staying in Goshen NY with some family and want to catch the game vs the Avs on the 28th of January. We've never been to long island and are worried about the traffic with a two year old. Does anybody have any recommendations on traveling? Thanks!
