So i was thinking new mexico is the desernt so it should not snow a lot but it looks like it snows....... Does it snow less down by las cruces? or does it snow all over the place?
Let's say I want to look up an LLC in the state and see how much they paid in taxes in a given year, like 2023. Is this possible in New Mexico? Or possible in any other states upon ordering a report on the business from the official business portal for the state? Thanks.
I was in a car accident a couple years back which I am now getting sued for. I don’t have the money at all I live pay check to pay check as most of us do in this economy. Anyways, I wasn’t able to get insured or have it registered in my name because I never received a bill of sale. What do I do? Unsure if I can file for bankruptcy? (Btw I asked for bill of sale and the lady ghosted me)
New to the area, looking for friends!
This is NOT a hookup post. Please do not message me about hookups, nudes, or dating.
☀️🍃💐🌿🍀🌹🌼
I just moved to El Paso from St Louis. Being new to the area, I'm really looking to make some friends my age! Additionally, Texas and my husband's job are not marijuana friendly, so I'd like to avoid conflict with that by hopefully making friends with someone on the New Mexico side.
I love art and drawing! And have my whole life. I also have a passion for biology and enjoy microbiology and botany. I also love hiking and would love to explore the mountains or local flora.
Please, feel free to message me if you're also looking for friends in the area! Obviously, I'm from El Paso, TX but I would be willing to drive about 50 minutes if we click.
I would prefer female friends, but I'm fine with males. Just, again, no hookups or dating. Thank you. 🌼
I didn’t expect to feel emotional walking through Old Town, but it was so special to see Dia de Los Muertos being celebrated in such a beautiful way 🖤
I’m 39m beginner+ skier looking for people to ski with or just commute with. Mainly ski Santa Fe, but open to northern NM and southern CO
Just saw this and thought I would share. Busses, vehicles, other school type odds and ends, lots of Auto Mechanics related stuff.

Did you know that lLas Cruces has removed 99.9% of all the cottonwood trees from the Mesilla Valley? This was done so more water would be available for pecan trees. Cottonwood groves are prolific up and down the river between Albuqurque and Caballo lake. I feel this was a short sighted decision made some time ago.
My wife and I will be flying in and out of ABQ second week in November. Our focus is on southern NM for this trip--we live in MN, and I know it won't be super-warm, but warmer is better. We will get to northern NM in a separate trip. We like to hike, see beautiful nature, visit National Parks. We enjoy museums, too, but for a western vacation, the landscape is the priority.
I've pasted in my draft itinerary below. Welcome any input on:
99.9% of all cottonwood trees that historically have lined the banks of the Rio Grande river have been removed in Las Cruces. The cottonwood groves along the Rio as you travel north to Albuqurque are prolific. It’s a shame.
I left a piece of pizza, and my tia Leah in San Francisco, but never a zia.
I've only seen like three 49ers games this year, and someone has been rocking our flag there in each of those games.
I'm a queer student at UNM looking for some information on the aforementioned topic for a journalism assignment! After it was revealed earlier this month that Elon Musk funded tens of millions to the Republican group Citizens for Sanity who put out those ads in 2022, I wanted to look into it for myself and determine their impact. The group has made billboards, videos, and radio ads that can be found on YouTube and their website. If anyone has seen these ads before and are willing to share your feelings & verify that you live/lived in New Mexico I would greatly appreciate it! Contact me through a Reddit Chat or we can discuss another method for contact in the thread.
I will be visiting Santa Fe, New Mexico for 3 days next month. I love to go to hot springs and swim in them and I read that New Mexico in general has a lot of natural hot springs because the state is geothermically active.
I read quite a bit about Ten Thousand Waves which according to forums is a Japanese style spa, hot tub place and is 15 minutes from the city whilst Ojo Caliente is an actual hot springs and is 1 hour from the city. I also read about Ojo Santa Fe Spa resort which is 30 minutes away from the city
In addition, I read that there is San Antonio Hot Springs which is a very natural hot spring experience but is 1 hour 40 minutes drive from Santa Fe and seems harder to get to as it appears that you have to walk a short trail to get there.
If I'm not mistaken I think that all other hot springs (which I have not mentioned above) are 2 or more hours drive from Santa Fe but I might be wrong.
I would like to ask which hot springs you recommend I should visit?
I am somewhat deciding between Ojo Caliente and Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort.
I am somewhat leaning towards Ojo Caliente because although it is further from Santa Fe than Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort I get the impression that it is more of a natural setting and is even more of an authentic natural hot springs than Ojo Caliente. Plus if I am not mistaken I believe that Ojo Caliente has a mud pool whilst Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort does not and I have never bathed in a mud pool in my life so would like to do it. So for these reasons I am thinking that Ojo Caliente might worth a longer drive and journey to get to than Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort.
I just wanted to ask everyone's opinion about this?
I have not heard so much negative about Ten Thousand Waves but it appears to have hot tubs and not hot springs which is what I am looking for.
I will be visiting Santa Fe, New Mexico for 3 days next month. I read that New Mexico has a large Native American population and that you can visit Native American pueblos. I don't live in the U.S and whilst I have been to the U.S. many times I have never been to New Mexico and I have never seen or experienced anything related to American culture. To me this sounds like a very unique experience.
I wanted to ask which Native American pueblo(s) I can visit in or near Santa Fe where I can see/experience Native American culture?
Is there any pueblo(s) that you recommend more than any other(s)?
Thanks
This looks like fun, and we have the rails. #outdoorrecreation https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/22/travel/railbiking-catskills.html?smid=nytcore-android-share
This highway is closed due to bridge damage from last week’s flooding. The NM Roads site only gives current information about the closed status. Does anyone know a source for information on the damage assessment, plans for repairs and projections for the length of the closure? The detour route state highway 2 was a dangerous road even without the added pressure of the detour traffic.
