Bio provided by her amazing foster parents:
Khloe is an absolute bundle of love who is eager to please and find her forever home. She will happily lay around all day until it is time for a walk! She is sweet, affectionate, gentle and she loves a good cuddle.
Although Khloe has lots of energy, she is nondestructive and well mannered. We’ve accidentally left a bag of treats laying right by her bed all night and she didn’t even touch them! If you give her a good long walk every day, or even just a large yard/property to roam, she’s happy as a clam. She loves being near her humans and simply coexisting with them, not asking for much at any time at all.
Protective, loyal, and loving, she is the perfect pet companion you could ask for. She learns quick and is easily trainable! She already knows commands such as “sit, stay, lay down” and is even crate trained.
Khloe is 5 years-old, 60 pounds, and likely a German shepherd mix. She is spayed, vaxxed, and microchipped, and her adoption fee has been waived.
Two adults and a kiddo for lessons. End of January, debating on which place to stay in the two hour radius of SF for great vibes, walkability, low key snowboarding but good mountains, etc. Please assist!
My daughter wants more sugar skulls. Where’s the best place to find them in Santa Fe? Thanks!
So New Mexico has some neat tax incentives for making sustainable changes to a home.

However, I'm a bit confused about how to do it.
Has anyone successfully completed this process?
or better yet, where could I find someone who can advise on how to navigate the paperwork...?
I’m coming to town and I need their escabeche! Since they seem to be closed, do any local stores sell their products?
Wild Leaven bread + Nuts for Cheese Un-brie-lievable + those carrots makes the best hipbougie treat.
I can’t stand the pre-mix! Help!
Just trying to see if anyone has tix to Fran Lebowitz tomorrow... I need to go see my Jewish godmother
How often do you see Coyotes in your residential neighbors? In downtown, in Agua Fria, Near Zia or Rodeo Rd, etc. Does anyone let their cats out? Some neighborhoods have fewer sightings than others? Thank you for your time in advance!
Do you recommend these for two adults? We like to get stoned and gawk at lights but aren’t sure if it’s going to be tiny and/or overrun with small humans (nothing against small humans). We’ve enjoyed the lights in Denver at the gardens but they might be more extravagant.
Hey all. Long story short, I most likely need to get a tooth pulled. My experiences with dentists in Santa Fe have been very poor and I’m at a loss as to who to see. As the subject says I’m looking for a non-judgmental, effective dentist who is a master of sedation ie gas or IV and has no problem using it.
Thank you for all your help!!
What are some things to do Santa Fe for my family? Next week my mom and brothers (15 & 13) are coming for my graduation. We decided to spend a day in Santa Fe but I already know that while me and my mom would be happy just sight seeing my brothers are going to want to do something. I'm really hoping to find something to do that isn't to expensive since my mom is already spending a lot to come visit. Does anyone have any ideas? I'll even take suggests for places around Santa Fe or ABQ
Burlesque and cabaret variety show ❤️🫶 we are wayoutweststarlets !! ❤️🫶
I am interested in seeing the Georgia O’Keefe museum one day. Since I live in NY, I would need at least a few other things to do to make it worth my while. What are some things to do there to sweeten the pot?
Hi everyone! A group of 6 of us will be traveling to Santa Fe from Mexico for a ski trip in January (11-18), and I’m hoping to get some advice from locals or seasoned travelers. Here’s our current itinerary:
I’ve recently heard about Pajarito Mountain, and I’m wondering if it would be worth switching one of our days in Taos to spend at Pajarito. Any recommendations? We are all beginners, I know Taos might be challenging but we still want to visit.
Also, on our rest day (Wednesday), what activities or places do you recommend? We’re looking for fun things to do around Santa Fe—whether it’s exploring the town, outdoor activities, or unique places to visit.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Let's be real...the woodworking is known as Sashimono that was established well before the story. It's not recognized by the Catholic Church and is a tourist trap owned by a hotel that requires payment to view and leads to forced gift shop to exit...
Does anyone have an exceptional recommendation for a local mortgage lender? Moving to the area soon, was tempted to use Navy Federal for a VA loan (as I did in 2017, have since sold the house) but I have been hearing their closing costs are skyrocketing lately. Possible looking for another lender to do a VA loan with (likely be under my spouse’s name since their certificate is unused). TIA.
Aloha from Hawaii! Too expensive here to survive even with dual incomes and no kids. We are in our 40's and 50's and work in the hotel industry so, job transfers are possible. We have a decent down payment ready to put on a house or town home.
My husband is adverse to winter but having lived in NYC, Chicago and Hawaii, he is starting to realize arts and culture need cold weather it seems. We love music and theatre too. We have two cats and Im worried about the adventurous one that loves to explore (had a cat get eaten by a coyote in Southern CA as a child)
How snowy does it get? I hear it's brighter than Chicago and NYC winters so Im thinking the seasonal depression wont be as bad. Any thespians out there or modern artists on this board? These are communities we both miss after having lived in beautiful Hawaii that is a little too chill for us. Thank tou for your time Reddit!
Hey there! I had a one-week trip planned to Albuquerque and Santa Fe in January, and the plans fell through, but I still have my flights.
I've been to 60-some countries and have even been to Albuquerque and Santa Fe plenty of times before, so I was thinking about maybe doing some sort of volunteering for that week instead. I'm open to almost anything as long as it's safe and has a private room for accommodation. I could do 30 or 35 hours of work in exchange for a place to stay and access to a kitchen.
I tried the normal volunteering/workstay websites that used to be free, but they all have a fee now, so if anyone knows of a place by word of mouth that I can volunteer my time, I'd be happy to set it up!
By the way, I have a master's degree in wildlife biology, if that's helpful, but I'm equally as open to any kind of volunteering!
Hey everyone,
Does anyone or has anyone worked for Sky Railway? How was it working for them?
Hi y'all,
I am so indecisive about giving Sky Railway a shot. On the one hand, I'm always eager to try new things with my kids. On the other hand, it is fantastically expensive! I have taken Amtrak from the SF Depot many times in my day and I know the ride is nothing special. I'm trying to imagine what could make the experience worth nearly $500. I would love to hear your experiences! Thanks :)
i'm moving to santa fe soon, and am looking for a good orthopedic doctor in/around - having thumb tendon problems that are just getting worse. anyone have any recs? i'd really appreciate it!
p.s: i am willing to go to albuquerque if need be!
I want to try champurrado (I could make it but want an example before I create a disaster 😂). Anyone know where I could find some served in town? I've been looking at all the menus online but haven't found any yet. Suggestions?
I’m pretty sick and tried to call and get through during their normal business hours a few days ago and today so wondering if their on a short break. I don’t live near and wanted to order for pickup so that’s why hoping someone who may know can tell me so I don’t use up so much energy to drive if they’re closed. Thanks!
