A Google search turns up Chala's Wood Fire Grill as a candidate, but what's the real answer?
I'm in the mood for some good, hearty Mac and Cheese. Big portions, real cheese sauce, baked with a crumb topping—all the good stuff.
Corner Bakery comes to mind, but it's all that's coming to mind, so I need suggestions. Is Chala's the right answer?
Hey, if anyone's beagle got out he or she ran across university onto the golf course. Looks like they may have come from the park palace apartments. I pulled over to try to find them but they ran.
Looking for a place to escape.
I woke up to helicopters circling my area saying “put your hands in the air.” It appears they’ve been doing it a few hours and are still out there. Any idea what’s going on?
Hike goals:
NOTE: all mine entrances on Tonuco mountain are still open, and some mines are vertical shafts. This is a bad place to explore alone. Tonuco mountain is remote, and there have rarely been any other people at the location when I’ve visited.
Cell phone coverage will be limited in some areas.
Hike description:
Directions from Ashley Furniture parking lot, Las Cruces (refer to the three map pictures associated with the post):
Exit parking lot south exit, merge onto I-25N
Travel North on I-25 for ~26.3 miles (past the border patrol station)
Take exit 32 towards Upham
Turn left and pass under I-25
Immediately on the other side of the underpass, take the second left (immediate left puts you back on I-25S, second left is a dirt road) – you will cross a cattle grate and will be on a dirt road
Continue on the dirt road for ~4.6 miles, roughly parallel to I-25
When the dirt road approaches a gate immediately next to I-25, turn right towards Tonuco Mountain
Drive up to 0.5 miles along this road and find parking along the road. There are some serious ruts on this section of road. DO NOT PASS THE POWER POLES at the top of the little hill – the road turns to sand and is very steep – you will get stuck.
Last parking area: 32.618864275230976, -106.96705731565507
Hike will start at 8AM at the parking area by the mountain
I love it when University has a lane closed and it demonstrates just how overbuilt that street is and how easily we could accommodate a street car or a dedicated bus lane
Hi all, curious if anyone out there is doing egg delivery subscriptions or service? Thinking it would be great to get farm fresh eggs every couple of weeks!
Hello!
Two trumpet players here with experience singing if needed, looking to start a band that focuses on playing songs that people can dance to.
Interested in genres like Tejano, Tex Mex, NM Music, Norteno.
Songs like:
"Flor de las Flores - Al Hurricane"
"La Yaquecita - Los Igualados"
"Te Quiero, I Love You - Milla 22" (1.25x-1.5x faster cause it's too slow, lol)
Open to playing anything as long as people can dance to them. Cumbias are a plus!
Please excuse my ignorance, I just moved here from somewhere where it never freezes so I genuinely have no idea what I need to do to the house or cars for the upcoming freeze warning. What do you guys normally do when a freeze is coming to protect your house and cars (do you even need to do anything for the cars?) from damage? Thanks in advance.
Sunday afternoon i found out I need surgery kind of asap and I go in to work today? I've been working at my job for almost 2 years.
Planning to visit family soon and was wondering the status of this brewery. Last time I visited the place had a fire incident and was closed. Could go for some of their beers, but no one I’m in contact with knows what’s up, so id thought I’d try here. Thanks in advance.
As a transfer student, is this where students living off-campus usually live?
Where can I get a Harris sign?
