I have been reading about the company that unm uses (Conserv) is in fact really shady and scamy and I have repeatedly told unm that I would handle the 430$ I owe to the school. I am quite worried and I don't know what to do. Any of you have any experience with this collection process it be much appreciated.
I'm currently taking an eastern religions class and the end of the semester project entails interviewing someone who practices a non-Abrahamic eastern religion. Anyone who would like to help out and participate in an interview, dm me! It would be a short interview about your beliefs/practices and we could do it via messages, zoom, or an in person interview on campus.
never got stuff through them before. doctor said it should be ready about 30 minutes from our appointment but it’s been a few hours now

So I've had a pending RA contract for nearly a month. I DID have to add 3 credits so they furnished a new contract and sent it out to me, which I accepted the day it iwas issued (I am VERY prompt with all of my documentation signing, etc., and usually complete it the day of). However, my contract date has been pushed back TWICE, meaning I had a tentative start date of 12SEP2024 during the first contract I signed, which got pushed back to 24SEP2024, which then got pushed back to 10OCT2024. Can they delay my pay up until that contract start date (which keeps getting pushed back)? That's nearly a month of pay...
Should I talk to the GPSA (grad union) about my issue yet or just wait it out?
Thanks for your insight!
If you have any short questions about UNM or would like to discuss anything, go ahead and post them here. Myself or other community members will try to answer your questions!
Has anyone ever done it on campus? Give some spot recos
Neither me or my roommate smoke but our dorm constantly reeks of weed. The hallways smell completely fine, it’s just our room. I think it’s coming from the vents
I even keep the window open 24/7 but the smell is so overpowering 😭😭it’s been like this since the semester started and it makes my clothes smell so bad
Is this happening for anyone else? I’m honestly considering cancelling my dorm contract if it’s not.
Anyone know if there’s any free mental health/ self harm resources on campus? I don’t have any money so it has to be free.
If you lost your architecture kit (i don't know the specifics) on the South Lot/Lobos Village bus, it's been turned into the UNM Parking admin office. Just FYI.
Are there any free piano’s on campus besides the one at hokona?
Looking for advice on how to handle a massive workload. I've got 17 credit hours worth of classes and I'm trying to figure out how to handle having to write a metric fuck ton of papers and read a bunch without losing my mind. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Caveats:
I feel like this sounds like the "Can someone help me budget" tweet by dril but I swear I'm just trying to get my final few degree classes out of the way ToT
Wow! Are UNM homecoming football games always as poorly as attended as this one against Fresno State?

It's normal to not be on the college campus part of unm after all lights are off? Was followed by a man near the complete dark area, near a hall. Normal?
Hi everyone,
Will be starting in the Spring of 25. My main question involves housing. Is it much more limited in the Spring? I know it’s already limited to begin with. Anyone else start in the Spring and find housing smoothly?
thanks
I've seen a lot of scooters on north campus recently, but nothing on the scooters, or that I've searched for, indicates that they're from a rideshare company. Are medical students just buying them?
I had an amazon package delivered last Thursday morning and SRC still hasn’t gotten it. Maybe it’s in my mailbox but I’m 90% sure it won’t fit in there. I checked with them twice last week, is there anything else I can do to see if it actually got to campus or if I need to contact Amazon?
Lobos left out yet again in conference realignment.
