just finished this episode and i think it’s my favourite so far! i absolutely loved the chaos of it all, watching charlie lose his mind then compose himself infront of the health inspector, coordinate all the other members of the gang, and eventually get the highest possible grade in the inspection.
i’m sooo glad i kept watching after the first 2 episodes!
It's Always Sunny in Los Angeles
Definitely a reference to our Golden God of a 5 star man, Hugh Honey.
Honestly just burned out on seeing Ryan Reynold’s face on every one of these cashgrabs
Cold Open: The gang is sitting in Paddy’s Pub, and Charlie is lamenting how he couldn’t reach the top shelf in his apartment. Dennis mocks him, leading to a discussion about height and how it affects their lives. Frank chimes in, slamming his fist on the table, the crew didn't even know he was there:
Frank: “I’m sick of you bastards lookin’ down on me, literally and figuratively! I’m getting taller!”
Cue title card: “Frank Gets Taller.”
Dreams are weird. I think it's because I saw DeVito doc recently.
But Imagine gags like Dennis thinking about how hes not tall enough and women aren't attracted to him anymore so he gets the surgery done, but ends up short or crippled. Frank dealing with backstreet doctors Cricket knew. etc.
Leftover Crack, for those who don't know, is a gutter/anarcho punk band from NYC. The joke of course being that there is no such thing as leftover crack.
Another diddler exposed from the show. Bruce Mathis, now the dude from the pilot.
