Second rewatch and the most scared sounding person on the show is actually the KGB Agent when Franklin drops him off to the CIA. His screaming and begging is more than we had seen before. Mentions torture “they will put me through hell.” Reinforces the idea that the CIA/ government were the most evil ones in the show
Anybody have snowfall telegram link so that i can watch the series
[TONS of spoilers, beware]
Cissy comes in trying to swing dick and dictate terms of what Franklin is going to do, and everyone just… let’s her. “Leon and Veronique aren’t going, I am.” Like BITCH tf you think this is? Who gives a rats ass what she wants? What could she possibly contribute to the situation?
But they just go with it. I know criticism of her isn’t new (and honestly fuck her, since she comes back in season 5 she’s just so annoying), but I really don’t get why Franklin wouldn’t just tell her to fuck off. He’s done it before.
And side note, fuck Jerome. Louise gets a ton of hate (that she deserves) but people seem to love Jerome. But he let Louise go completely off the rails and just went with it and did everything she wanted even when he knew it was the wrong play or didn’t agree with it. He beat Black Diamond to death for basically no fucking reason. He puts all the blame on Franklin in that diner as if Jerome hasn’t been there making his own decisions the whole damn time.
Anyway, $4 a pound.
So much has happened with his character, through out all the seasons, let me know your thoughts
Just finished Snowfall. Organized crime is my jam. I've seen Breaking Bad, Narcos, Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, Better Call Saul (not quite OC) Many Saints of Newark, Goodfellas, Casino... blah blah blah. I'm considering Queen of the South and Escobar (pretty sure Narcos did it better) thank you for your suggestions.
*Ozark *Sons of Anarchy *Peaky Blinders *Deadwood *Money Hiest
She was the first one to help Franklin flip his brick , was really greedy trying to steal her friends night club , stole Franklins plug, do you think she was the reason Jerome died?
Why did Avi tell Ruben that Teddy was only a contractor after giving him the information, is he stupid?
So Jarome is clearly depressed and has been for some time. Especially after >!Peaches' betrayal!< I think he is exhausted from being in between Louie and Franklin and at this point he is TRYING to get shot. This is very sad bc he has been my favorite charecter this whole time but, >!when he killed Black Diamond I was SHOCKED.!< I never thought he would do something like that and I blame Louie 100% he was so right in s1 when he said "it's just never going to be enough for you"
I hated Cissy for her role in how things played out in the final bits. But I now see what she represented. My friend is watching E9 of the last season and from when she started to confront Teddy, I remembered that I hated her but then it occurred to me that she represented Teddy’s karma for the destruction of the community and her entire family. And so to some degree, she was entitled to some revenge/justice. Still hate that Franklin had to pay the price.
Edit: I meant to say she thought was entitled to some justice yet her blame was in the wrong place.
THAT EVERYBODY NEEDED TO STOP MAKING FUCKING DECISIONS FOR AND/OR AGAINST FRANKLIN. That boy was gonna take the world. He lost his fucking mind quick at the end but part of that is due to producers wanting to tie the show up I’m sure. We deserved a true come up story with Frankie..
Loved every minute of it. Except the last 120, that was rough. Wish Fatback and Leon did their thing longer. Wish they didn’t have to end the show & do our boy franklin like that.. We all know he’s smarter than that shit
What do you guys think are the best and worst episode this series had to offer , feel free to explain
I mean don’t get me wrong, Franklin is obviously a bad guy already… I had accepted that. But then I get to the end of this episode just now. Fuckin Unc meeting Franklin in the diner and him killing me a lil bit with his story about being a lost man when he moved to LA and shit. I had a talk like that from my uncle when I was younger and fuckin up too in my own way, so it kinda hit me harder I guess…
BUT for Franklins stubborn, stupid, heartless ass just to shove that back in Uncs face? Man, fuck Franklin, he’s truly a fuckin piece of shit, and I officially hope he dies painfully.
I’m rooting for Unc, Oso, and Skully. Fuck everyone else. That is all.
I do not comprehend why people thinks it’s morally ok to “tell” on a friend or an associate to get your self out of a jam because he or she is deceased, either way your snitching and you are putting things in the person that’s deceased name that could or couldn’t not be true, your putting allegations on them that they no longer can defend( if your friend ever says if I die and you get caught rat on me I’m dead, and say that it can proven) that different but regardless is it not snitching or is it ? Opinions ?
Shared with snowfall want to see what the snowfall group thinks ?
Is the gender of Franklins child known? Maybe I missed it while watching
Just wanted some background info on one of the most important people in the show, I’m curious if one guy like him could actually achieve what happened in the show.
I recently got into the show and have finished the 1st season.
Obviously the show is years old so i’ve been spoiled but i don’t mind. My only complaint about the show is that there are so many storylines
I’m really only interested in the show because of Franklin and his work dynamic/relationship with his uncle and friends. I really hate when there is a scene with Franklin and then for the next 7 minutes i’m watching the Mexican cartels storyline and Teddys storyline. Do all the storylines connect and become relevant at a certain point because to me at this point it feels like i’m watching 3 separate shows.
Watching Franklin grow into a cold and calculating man is so exciting to see. Easily one of the best shows I’ve seen since Breaking Bad and Peaky Blinders.
I know I'm not the only person that has noticed this thumbnail to be 3D.
If you wear glasses and shift your head left and right while maintaining focus on the picture you will see the background shift along with "blood" differently from Frank. Note: it is not as easy to this on your phone, much easier in the Tv.
Please validate that I'm not the only one that sees this.
I make bass music and am looking for material to sample before drops, would love any suggestions
Why does no one blame Jerome for everything that happened in the end? He played muscle for his nephew and frontman for his wife. He left such a leadership void in his family that he lowkey got pushed down below everybody.
i have never been more angry at a certain character. i went from immediately laughing to utter pain in my heart
