I don’t know who’s more annoying the laurena,Irene or Alton but the thing that pisses me off is Alton thinks he can make decisions that big and make decisions for Franklin’s business and his business partners like if stay in yo lane was a person he would be it in my opinion he had that shit coming how are you gonna put your entire family at risk and turn away from the business but like how did he start that shelter ? Franklin yeah Irene and Laurena may have been annoying but they never bit the hand that fed them Alton had that shit coming fucking with the money, fucking with the cia, doing everything in his power to get killed basically if it was any random person Franklin would have had them crucified but here’s the thing that mf is basically a random person who didn’t show up until 2 years ago and also all that white supremacy bs he was talking with teddy like mf you were a drunk and couldn’t hold a fucking job like Alton really annoys the shit out of me
i think franklin should've swallowed his pride once cissy killed teddy, he should've went back to leon and worked with him somehow instead of threatning him to take his money or should've just started from zero yet again instead of trying to reach from zero to 100, ending up falling in negative numbers or at least accepting leon paying for his house taxes and working with him, what do y'all think?
guys I just finished episode 1 of season 6 and it was absolute cinema. Jerome literally lost his mind and I today black diamond and dallas (my goats) take revenge against him. FRANKLIN SAINT ON TOP ( FUCK TED MCDONALDS )
I’m only on S2E1 but I feel like every episode Franklin is being fucked up in one way or another. Guy needs a holiday already
How do you guys thinks snowfall competes with these others shows in terms of writing and story quality? Personally I think the original narcos surpasses it because of its consistency but I'd say it's just as good or better than narcos mexico and ozarks. I feel like snowfall has better characterization while ozarks has better dialogue and narcos mexico the more consistent (Not as its predecessor)
I’m so mad that I don’t remember because ik it was the style black in the 80s for our folks, and I can’t seem to remember what it’s called I always see it in damn near every 80s based black movie or show
Does anyone else feel like Franklin killing that locksmith was unnecessary? Obviously he was spiraling and not in his right mind but I think he probably could’ve let him go and been fine.
Or something like that idk
I haven't changed my favorite show in a decade. Today, I proudly share that I've found a new one. The writing was as flawless as possible with acting that was on Par with the best of productions. The development, arcs, cinematography, score/mixing, omg it was incredible. Thank you all for encouraging me to watch it, thanks to YouTube's algorithm for first showing me the Saint, and getting my attention. I'm just very greatful to have found a break from life. Thank you all, I appreciate the community that I've found.
I know the majority of men will agree with me. All the women in snowfall were terrible. That woman that Gustavo was with in season six is pretty cool beside the fact that she is a rat lover🤦🏾♂️. Do any of the women agree with me? Overall I find all the characters very off putting. Jerome was decent. I wish he pulled out earlier and left Louie. Lmk. All the characters rubbed me the wrong way. Overall message, stay out of the drug game
Just finished the series. Great show but every character rubs me the wrong way in the end. Every character is a hypocritical piece of shit. Kane is probably the most solid or manboy. The rest just pissed me off. Especially Leon marrying Wanda🤦🏾♂️😂. Nobody’s solid which is a great reflection of the dope game. All unstable assholes.
I just finished episode 10 of season 5 and that was the best episode I've ever seen in my entire life. Even the credits were good ( Straight outta compton is peak music ) and I want Ted die and suffer for everything.
Holy shit this dude sucks. On my first watch-thru, only on episode 7 so far. But holy shit why does he act like he wants to fuck his cousin? Creepy ass foo. & he’s always gettin high off his own supply fucking his own family’s business. Wish oso would’ve killed buddy the first time he tried to threaten him
DON'T FUCK WITH KARVEL!!! HE'LL MAKE YOUR LIFE RIP-ASS HELL!!
The ending was amazing, and the show was spectacular, but tbh, I feel like they added a lot of content without fully expanding on it. Like, that whole CIA arc should’ve been explored more. I wanted to see more of Teddy’s ex-wife and thought she’d help Cissy stop the CIA project. They could’ve expanded on so much, but ig leaving us hungry for more was a smart play. Not to mention Leon and Wanda in Africa? Who ran things in The Projects, Compton and Inglewood after Saint and Manboy were gone? (Can’t be Skully since he turned Christian or whatever.) I feel like there should’ve been way more, but yeah, that’s just my opinion.
I just finish snowfall and the ending is probably the most depressing ending i have ever seen don't get me wrong the ending is really good really well thought out but literally everyone but Leon and wanda got fcked so fcking bad especially Franklin who in my mind had a fate worse then death because he only wanted freedom and ended up becoming a Slave to the bottle like his dad who he despised but I don't think That's the worst thing about the ending I think it's that they in a way all deserved their endings. (Sorry if i made some spelling mistakes english aint my first language)
My wife is watching for the first time and I’m doing my first rewatch.
spoilers below
(We are working under the assumption that Teddy was really going to transfer the money. We understand that there is good faith debate on whether he actually would. But let’s assume the transfer was legit)
We have been arguing about what Cissy did to Teddy. She thinks it was justified, while I still think she was wrong.
I think killing him was the right choice but she should have waited until Teddy got off the phone.
My wife says Cissy was right to do it because “Teddy was full of shit. He had all this time to transfer the money and never did. He didn’t care who had to die for that money, including his dad, he only cared when he was in the chair. Then he only tried to give him half. Teddy only cared about himself. Even that 37 million was still a win for Teddy. He only gives things to people to ever take it back.”
Whatever, I love this show until the end.
I am early in season 4 right now, and I have been loving the show up until now. It seems like the show just lost the vibe, and I notice a lot of actors changed, like peaches, loo, etc. Ever since Mel did what she did to Franklin.
Does anyone know what (if anything) happened/changed at this time (did writers change or was there some fighting within the cast or something?)? Does it get better again?
I'm on season 2 eps 4 right now.
Louie kinda pissed me off, I mean sure she should have access to the safe, IF she wasn't spending so much time with Claudia, like tf you think you can just play on both sides and get the best of both. Ofc Franklin won't trust her, he even warn her before.
Kev also done some stupid shit, but at least he was young and his cousin just died.
I swear both of them look like a time bomb right now, I wish they wouldn't explode and ruin it all.
But whatever, this show is so good that I didn't sleep last day because my brain keep saying "just one more episode before I sleep" And I ended up finishing the first season.
How is none of my friend watch this, I need to corrupt them so I have someone to talk about this.
if manboy was able to pull off gettin the plug n gettin franklin out the way don't get me wrong franklin is smarter buh manboy is also smart he jus more crash out than franklin how do you think teddy would work with him if this was a situation and manboy came in the CiA 's crosshairs would he last 3 yrs as long as franklin, manboy is very smart he told franklin everything that was gonna happen in his dying last words, so i wouldn't count him out.
I just finished Snowfall and I couldn’t help but see how alike the two characters were.
I feel like Franklin was more human than Light since he actually cared for a lot of people and didn’t use his girl like Light did.
Just sharing some thoughts since finishing the series last night (apologies in advance it is a long one lol). I hope people hate the same things I did but I'm down to funnily argue/disagree lmao. Still a good show I'd def rewatch and I will rec to other people but with same GOT disclaimer of: 'so good but be prepared for a terrible ending.'
Tldr: justice for jerome and franklin; hatred for Louie, V, and his trifilin ass mama; disappointment in Leon but happy for Wanda
