I know it’s been a while. I still have not given up hope. Have you? Has Tom?
Let’s get a petition going to encourage Tom Hardy and his dad to start working on season two of Taboo . It’s a pure show filled with intrigue, greed in every day life in the early 1800s.
There is a song in episode 4 while the guy is giving an exhibition on what I assume is gunpowder. Around the 14:00 minute mark. Anyone other orchestra dorks here that know what song it is?
I wonder if the prop master puts a little flavor in it.
Well, I think that Lorna Bow is the only one who really cares about James Delaney, and we've seen this in a lot of moments (in the dance party or When he disappeared for two days), and the way she looks at him it just says a lot. On the other hand, James also seems interested in her, even if only a little, (for example on the ship when she was injured, or when he talked to Cholmondeley about her) and also the way he sees her. If there's a second season, It would be great if their relationship developed, as she is the only one who understands James and is not afraid of him like everyone else, and perhaps she will bring out a little of James from the past And it reignites his feelings of love.
Or am I the only one who sees that they love each other?
Why does the king go after Lorna?
10 Months Later, I Assume There's Nothing Again... I Know The Conditions But I'm not following the Magazines Stuff So Wonder If Anyone came By Something
Every time I watch Taboo, I'm more and more impressed with David Hayman's acting.
20 minutes in and i'm already angry we don't have a second season after 7 years.
CAN THIS MAN STOP MAKING VENOMS PLEASE.
Dunkirk was the only project worth(artistically) doing from everything he's ever done since 2017, along with guest staring in Peaky which was awesome.
I get that it's a truckload of cash, but A FOURTH Venom? REALLY MY DUDE? 4?
Either start making cool movies again, or COME BACK FOR THE NOOTKA.
Rant over, thank you all for listening.

Was there ever any talk about how this show may be intertwined with Pirates of the Caribbean? Wasn’t there a deleted scene about Captain Sparrow and a EIC ship used for slaves getting sunk?
Maybe alternate universe?
Plus some of the characters… Ms. Swan’s dad had made quite a name for himself eh?
Or maybe it's predicting the future? 🤔
I just saw a video update on Sir Chips Instagram this afternoon where he is watching cricket on one screen and typing what appears to me to be a script on the other screen. Now.. this is probably me just being delusional and very, very wishful thinking but even just to entertain the idea for a moment, does Chips right for other tv shows? Or could this be a possible script for Taboo Season 2… I will say no more and just cross my fingers and wishfully hope this is what I wish it was as I need a season 2 of this wonderful show.
Hey guysssssss!
I'm a BIG FAN OF THIS SHOW, PLEASE TELL ME IF WE ARE GONNA GET A SEASON 2????
Funny story, I was searching for this TV show's name, and had to use ChatGPT to describe what I remembered, to zero in on the name. I had completely forgotten this had Tom Hardy as the main lead. (Sincerely apologies, I must have watched in a different time altogether, so I forgot).
But now that I remember...... Please bring back Tom Hardy in this role!
Any news as to when we are gonna see the next one??
In the very first episode, James' father's corpse is tested for arsenic poisoning by a method called "the Marsh test" - the sample is mixed with zinc and nitric acid, and the resulting gas is heated over a reflective surface - if a mirror-like residue appears, it proves the presence the arsenic.
However, the events in the series take place in 1812, while the Marsh test was first used in 1836.
Hey! I'm new to the community. I haven't seen this series yet.
I just know that Zilpha and James are half-siblings on their father's side and had a very close relationship (If you know what I mean)
What is their relationship like? Are they jealous of each other? Do they get along?
The last time I read a story about brothers, one brother is jealous of the other brother and wants to protect him at any cost.
i need the second season and i need it now😭 i just finished another rewatch, WHEN WILL WE GET IT 😭😭😭
also i’m so sad they did that to winter she was def up there for one of my fav characters :(
What was the dispute between the company and the crown over India that Coop uses to get Stuart to deal in episode three? Of course it all goes to crap later.
Hey Guys, Any News About The Next Seasons? Been Away For Quite Some Time Now. Thanks.
How about TABOO!!
Quit wasting time on comic books! :)
Why did James decide not to take her along to America like he initially planned? Why take Lorna but not her?
I love this show and the second time watching was just as good as the first time. It's a show that keeps on giving.
I wonder how Roberts character will be portrayed in the next season. It's been awhile since season 1, Louis Ashbourne Serkis is not the wee lad he was when he played Robert in season 1. Will they use CGI? Will they get a different actor? Or perhaps there will be a time jump in the story?
Tom Hardys acting never ceases to amaze me.
I wish there was more updates, behind the scenes info out there. Something....anything!
So I just watched Taboo which is now one of the best shows I've even watched. I also had never gotten to season 2 of Peaky Blinders but had to after finishing Tabboo. Tom Hardy is so goddamn good. I am watching more of his stuff now and think he's one of the best actors of this generation. I just wanted to say that lol....
It reminded me a little bit of The Knick, which I highly recommend.
So if you don't have FX will you have to wait for the season to be over until it moves to a streaming platform? Do we know what one that will be?
