I need some help regarding building up the Soviet Union. My recent posts showed how I am not utilising most of my mils and civs, despite having a lot of them. I’m not managing the output of civ breeding essentially
When should I be training all my infantry? When should I start building civs and mils? I now aim to get my airforce (2k aircraft approx) and army (360 divisions of 18 width, artillery, aa, logistics? and engineers)
My concerns are that I rush too fast into mils with very little civs, then I would take forever to reach 500 factories.
I am tech juggling to get better industry, production and construction tech. I managed to grab Production 5 in ‘40 (2 Year ahead bonus).
I have such a hard time trying to prioritize what should get mils, how many for each and etc.
Let's say for this example I am playing Germany, and I want to have a decent amount of medium tanks, infantry, air force, etc. How many mils should I have on each thing? I feel like I can never have enough of one thing or too much of another.
Air superiority
So for some reason every time I close and then load a game it doesn't allow me to get achievements saying that my save has been modified or something along those lines is this supposed to happen and can I do anything about it?
Idk I just find the tree very boring, and seems very uninteresting. Can't find a proper feel to the country especially since navy is a mess and more confusing than 99% of the game but for some reasons I just not enjoy, I don't know I prefer smaller nations anyway but Japan just sucks for me anyway if
anyone who plays them a lot any tips on it, cause I wanna try out more nations that aren't European or Americas
Do I only have to take Boston’s to win the second American civil war? I’ve been sending some troops to California to take the major city’s but I’m wondering if I really need to do that
Correction: what is the historical focus order?
I couldn't find any answer in the wiki - can you speed up your special project research? I am not talking about breakthrough, just research itself.
It’s literally impossible to guess what shit will happen on historical. Like 5 of my runs were ruined by the UK doing some weird shit or a civil war in France or Italy. When will Paradox fix it? I can’t stand fucking communist France tear my ass apart on HISTORICAL FOCUS anymore. Please fix it or I’m gonna break my pc with a hammer🙏 This is a cry for help please fix it already
I remember years ago there was one but I believe it was outdated. If theirs either a new or updated, I would love to know about it
i always play non-historical, and its boring to see a random country im at war with joining a major faction that has a different ideology (democratics joining 4th international or axis), making a local conflict become global. Is there any command or mod that can change this?
Night Vision was cutting edge technology at the end of WW2, so I'm not sure why is wasn't integrated into the special projects system
Its like 4 years old now so not new, idk anything abt laptops, cromebooks or PCs so if there’s anything i can do to make it work even if its basic i wouldnt know so sorry but is it possible? And if so would i need to do anything and if so what and how ?
Edit: there is also a mac book in the house of a similar age if that would work better but preferably the cromebook if possible
Edit 2: there was a post similar to mine 6years ago and talked about lynux ? Or something that was added to the cromebook and made it possible to play ?
Finally, peace.
I'm not understanding this. It's saying I can't do the Imperial Federation focus because 'any state' is 'Newfoundland' and all the following must be true:
My issue is Canada starts the game with Newfoundland as a core, so how is it ever possible for Newfoundland to not be a core of Canada to satisfy this focus?
I started a new game, skipped a bunch of focuses with the console, formed the Dominion of North America again and this time I can do the Imperial Federation with Canada owning Newfoundland and having it as a core (even though the tooltip says the same; "is not a core of Canada")
Anyone have any ideas?
EDIT: Found my issue, South Africa had formed the Kingdom of Mutapa and I controlled 2 of their cores, returned the territory and now it works
It took me 8 freaking hours but i have it and i am finally happy,
LONG LIVE BELGIUM
Hey,
I just started a Game as Germany with the new DLC. After I started my first war, i decided to switch to economy of conquest. However now its 1943, there is no more gold to seoize, i cant to full autarky. I am stuck at 150 consumer goods and cant even build ports... What am i missing, am I just supposed to be at 0 civs or am i overseeing something?
Thanks for any help
