UPDATE: My co-emperor attempted to coup me, with the Pope at his side no less

Thankfully my ruler's high diplomacy skill allowed me to give them a very stern talking to, and they promptly surrendered.

Why my children can't inherit Pureblooded trait?

I just can't make children have that trait and every time i'm arranging a marriage between two characters that are BOTH having Pureblooded trait it says that "this trait may be inherited" but it never does. What can I do to solve this problem? Because that thing really irritate me while im doing incest Habsburg-like dynasty run with tier 3 traits.

What is going on in this crusade... Crusade is where my green armies are. Half the green armies are sitting in Jerusalem doing nothing, half are sitting out to sea.

Can me and my wives have a threesome?

Not trying to be a “shit crusader kings say” moment, I’m actually curious if this is a mechanic. Me and two of my wives somehow share brave, trusting, gregarious (or forgiving) with fecund and seducer. They are a part of the culture that accepts polygamy and my wives are both bisexual.

What are your favourite things to do while being a landless adventure?

I just wondered what are the things crusader kings gamers love to do in the game while being landless adventures.

So? Spill it out. And be honest!

As an adventurer, is there a reliable way to get a contract with a specific ruler who is not already your patron?

I know you can generate a couple new contracts every few months using the town criers, but that still relies on RNG as far as which rulers the contracts are for. Is there any way that doesn’t rely on random chance?

Losing titles on death in administrative

Okay, so I have had an incredibly successful run in Byzantine empire. My son stands in line to inherit all the things I want him to inherit. However, when I die, I lose a bunch of the land, most importantly my capital. It just falls to the empire even though my son is absolutely in line to inherit.

Am I missing something or why is he not inheriting what he should?

Is gallowsbait actually worth it

So my plan was to make my way from Northern Europe to Ghana to try and make holdings out of the gold mines but was going to take the gallowsbait trait and raid as the holding is built so that when it’s ready I have an army ready to fight. The gallowsbait trait with a decision let’s you get unique men at arms (100-1000 per criminal contract depending on gallowsbait xp), but what I want to know is if it is worth it? I mean are the unique soldiers I get good enough to warrant committing crimes? Will I get more if I raid? Do the benefits of those unique men outweigh the negatives?

My ruler is a freaking RABBIT!

This guy had so many sons and daughters that he is a 80 years Fylkir/Emperor now and his youngest son (and heir) is 14 years old. His grandson is old enough to be his heir's father...

Damn.

Crashes when viewing artifacts in the latest patch (1.14.1)

Since updating to 1.14.1 today I'm regularly getting crashes when opening the artifact panel. In all instances I have been in the court view.

I'm not too sure how widespread this is but it's happening fairly regularly to me so it may be worth playing it safe and not downloading the latest patch yet if you are mid playthrough,

I have reported the bug.

CK3 on PC, no mods installed.

How should I name my Heresy as Berber Christian in Rome?

Doing a custom run as the 866 berber emirate of bari, but as an orthodox to avoid catholic holy warring while I conquer italy - I took rome and plan to reform my christianity probably for islamic syncretism because... why not? it makes sense they'd port over some islamic beliefs, I'm going to take endura as well, and armed pilgrimages because my spiritual HOF will have land to the north.

what should I call it? Barite? Italo-Berber Rite? Saracenism?

Which realms make historical and game balance sense to set as administrative via game rules?

I've seen people say that the Abbasids were closer to administrative than feudal particularly, but I'm not enough of a history buff to know. I also haven't actually messed with the rules that much so Idk how it plays. What do you all think?

My multiplayer save is in 1.14.0.2 and now that 1.14.1 came out i can't rollback to play it, help

Yesterday i was playing a multiplayer save in 1.14.0.2 and now that 1.14.1 came out i can't rollback to that version, i'm playing on Steam and the beta tab doesn't show the 1.14.0.2 version. Save is loaded but i fear crashes and instability and it would be a shame as it was hard to organize a game with my friends.

Plutonium: CK3AGOT Multiplayer, in the Dance of the Dragons!

https://preview.redd.it/h9kaivqs9v1e1.jpg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb32ba5da2054fb3a0caa212956057ad9cbf21f8

Plutonium Presents CK3 A Game of Thrones - in a Massive Multiplayer Enviroment!

In the events of Session Three of the Rogue Prince, key lords get involved in an extensive amount of drama and intrigue throughout the realm which have now begun to set the way for the Dance of the Dragons to begin, as Viserys I has passed, and the 'Green Council' seem ready to help name his successor...
In the last session:

  • Helaena Targaryen elopes with Daemon Velaryon, the second son of Lord Corlys Velaryon. Daemon and House Velaryon achieve victory in a blockade against the Ironborn and the opportunistic Dornish, killing both the Heir to Dorne and the Heir to the Iron Islands, all while avoiding calling in his estranged king-brother. Meanwhile, Hugh Hammer ascends to the Kingsguard at Rhaenyra's suggestion.
  • Aegon Targaryen marries the conniving Sylwa Strong, daughter of Lord Larys, and the pious Aemond “The Silent Dragon” Targaryen weds Lady Lyanna Stark. The bastard son of the late Princess Saera fails to claim a wild dragon, resulting in severe burns and a banishment from Dragonstone. Rhaenyra, meanwhile, refuses to give her final dragon egg to Aegon’s son, prompting her removal from the small council and exile to Dragonstone.
  • Aemma Velaryon, Rhaenyra’s daughter, tames Silverwing after many failed attempts to hatch a dragon. Rhaenyra invites Prince Daemon and his family to join her on Dragonstone. Borros Baratheon defeats a pirate incursion in the Stepstones, and the Dornish seek to stir discord among the High Lords of Westeros at Highgarden. Rhaenyra orders Daemon and Laena to remind the Reach lords of the Targaryen succession.
  • As Lord Lyonel Strong becomes infirm, Ser Otto Hightower is summoned to serve as Hand of the King again, naming Prince Daeron as his successor to the position, growing old and infirm himself. Lord Hand Otto effectively places more altruistic members onto the council, growing favor for Prince Aegon and Prince Daeron before he dies.

Other noteworthy events include the succeeding of Dalton Greyjoy as Lord of the Iron Islands, Kermit Tully as Lord Paramount of the Riverlands, and Cregan Stark as Lord of the North as the crown sends forces to defend the Riverlands against rebellious vassals, all while King Viserys grows increasingly frail and ill.

The Dance of the Dragons is approaching, and we’d love for you to join us! Our passionate team and welcoming community are ready to immerse you in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire. Don’t miss out on the roleplay opportunities! We play every Saturday at 7:00pm GMT for four hours!

Favourite Cultural Traditions

One of the things I enjoy doing in CK3 is becoming sculpting my cultural traditions so I have a culture exactly the way I want it.

So I'm just wondering what cultural traditions are your favourites and why?
One of my favourites is garden architects. I enjoy the flavour of it, plus the court gardener is nice for some extra development.

Chapter 2 on console is a disaster

The game is litterally unplayable, to start game stability incredibly worsened, never had a crush on my series x and as of now i played the update for 3 hours and it crashed 2 times. The new UI and menus are shit to navigate through, the messages that appear on top of the screen are glitchy and are stupidly big, they were perfect before, armys cant be moved manually (basically game breaking cuz i cant wage fucking war) and to top it off the new dress and customization are a mess. Developer really ought to be ashamed of them self to let crap like this out and be even years late with it. I really hope they do a patch as soon as possible, but in the meantime i really am ashamed and disappointed

My first 5 games

I might be doing it wrong but after 3 or 4 reunification of ireland all my children start dying beofre I do. In all of my saves ireland is home to 5 out of 6 plages in my character’s life span. In my last save I deleted the save after my 2 sons died and my only heir was a 2yo dwarf with consuption. Also, everytime I start expanding towards Wales I get constant spaming of the same faction targeting me and then disbanding every 20-30 seconds is there a way to fix this ? Awesome game tought
