Is there any mod that allows me to build any building on any terrain? Like quarries, outposts, etc.

I've been asking for 2 days on forums and discord groups if anyone knows if there is a mod that allows you to build all the buildings regardless of the terrain type, or if I can modify it in the code? And how?

Why is everyone using the feudal inheritance?

Even non-feudal governments like tribals and clans still use the same inheritance system. By feudal type of inheritance I mean, a system in which titles pass to other realms.

The feudal system in which titles could pass to other realms was a pretty unique characteristic of Christendom. The fact that a random tribal leader in Norway can inherit an exclave in Russia, doesn't make much sense.

Romeaboos - which start date will you be playing in?

867, 1066 or 1178?

In 867, the empire is fairly weak, but arguably in the strongest position out of the three due to the relative weakness of its neighbours and the crumbling Abbasid empire.

In 1066, the Seljuks and the Fatimids make up a sizeable threat to the east, but the imperial lands in Bulgaria, Krete and Eastern Anatolia remain intact.

1178, in my opinion, seems to be the most challenging start, with a strong Ayyubid sultanate, a large chunk of land lost to the sultanate of Rum and the rise of the Mongols on the not-so-distant horizon. In addition, to the west, Hungary and Sicily could put up a strong resistance against any attempted imperial land reclamation.

What are we thinking?

You should have more than just one religion

Recently I was reading about Alfred the Great and I learned about the Treat of Wedmore, Guthrum the Old had to be baptised to make the treat legal into the eyes of Alfred and the winning (christian) side BUT this also helped Guthrum because know he was a christian king for his christian (saxon) vassals while he still a pagan king for his pagan (norsemen) vassals. So then both communities had their rights and traditions protected and preserved and could lived in peace inside the Danelaw.

Now, imagine having this option / mechanic? in game (CK2 mod, CK3 official update), when you have the option convert to attacker's religion you can still preserves yours or when you do a massive conquest, you could convert to the religion of your new subdites while preserving yours, so you don't have constant sublevations.

For me would be way better than "practising in secret".

PD: another cool example was Bảo Đại, last emperor of Vietnam, he was Confucian, Mahayana Buddhist and Roman Catholic at the same time (I know, he wasn't a medieval ruler, but I still find him interesting).

Why does my vassals have more troops than me?

Hello there! I was playing ck2 (I'm a noob in this game), started as count of Basel and baron of Habsburg. Now, I'm king of Bohemia, and my max force limit is 3k. The thing is, my vassals revolted cuz they want elective monarchy, and they have a maximum of 10k troops. I would like to know why they have 10k troops (I dealt with revolts during my playtrough, but in those revolts both me and the revolters had almost equal amount of troops). I would appreciate it if you can explain this to me.

Getting back to Medieval Designs, I noticed that till now nobody had made a Crusader-Kingdom Patch of Antioch, so as someone passionate about medieval history, here it is. In short this is A Patch of my design for both Historical fans of the Crusader Period, as well as game fans.

I have finally created espania!!!

Now imma try again and be lucky bcs i wanna do it with my big guy king that created it mostly himself, he died of old age of 77 and he ruled since he was 23 i think it was so 53 years and he went to two crusades in that time, he died a few months or a half year before a peace treaty for dutchy of galcia disolved (a dude wanted independence when i was in the last crusade and i slowly got it back in 10 years and when he died only one county was left)

Before he died he tried to make every vassal have positive opinion but started to fail after he became 60 and got alot of factions and that was passed down to his son together with a complete negative opinion on every vassal even those that had 100 on so i just tried to fast forward the next 5 or so years after capture of galcia to afford the empire bcs i had to bride all the vassals alot but didnt really work that well, just did it bcs it felt so bad that he died before it was created.

On top of that in his late late years his nephew betrothed off his daughter to me and when they got married they got 4 or 5 kids, on the day he died he got twins.

Its the first time i tried incest and first time i did it to my direct disendant, however i discovered about 5 more incest relationships and one bastard child in my close related family so no idea wtf they been doing.

The Iberian Struggle is well named

231 years in - have accidentally formed an empire spanning the globe. Have founded and given away about 20 kingdoms. Still haven’t been able to hit victory conditions for the struggle.

Habsburg way saved my game

Long story short I am playing with ironman mode and MGR which banned matrilineal marriage for male dominated religions/cultures.

My current character died and only leaves living daughters, the one who become the queen is already married and have three daughters that are not from my dynasty which could lead to a game over.

I was panic for one second, then I remeber Habsburg, so the new queen just imprisoned and killed her husband because ofc the pope refused to let the queen divorce. And my new character married to the sluttiest cousin she could possibly find and seduce her new husband at the wedding night and pregnent with a boy immedietly. Since I have male peference so the new son will inherit all titles and is from my dynasty thanks to the cousin who ofc is from the same dynasty. Now she has not only one son but also three grandsons from her dynasty, and the inheritage crisis is solved.

Ever snce then I always marry my oldest daughter to his cousin if I dont have a son and likely wont have one because me or my wife is infertile/has low inferility or my daughter is appointed as my player's heir via the event. Thanks to Habsburg style of marriages, lacking of matrillenial marriages no longer terrify me and no longer bring me inheritage crisis.

Roleplay Ideas For Upcoming DLC

Iam actually overwhelmed for amounts of additional content we will recieve and i dont have any idea where to start though i want to try the landless mechanich with custom carachter.

Do you have any fun Roleplay ideas to play as a landless carachter?Of course you can just be bandits mercenaries.... and become landed once you feel like it but i want a roleplay scenario with a goal in mind.

I am not sure which culture and religion i will choose for my custom carachter either

Thanks
