Hey guys, I've tried to look for an answer around on the internet but just can't find one, seems like not many people have encountered this problem or at least haven't posted about it
My problem is all the traffic going straight on this highway intersection seems to merge to the left lane and then split right after, even though they have a piece of road available. I tried to use TMPE to force them to go straight but that just moves the merging point back more. I know I used a non-highway road for the 2 lane but there aren't any highway pieces like that.
Has anybody got an idea on how to fix it? Or any successful attempts at fixing this? It's driving me crazy and also slowing my traffic down a bunch.
Thanks
So basically any service or entertainment (parks and city services)I have placed down have almost no range of coverage and I have to place down a ton to notice a bit of difference, this is especially bad with the fire safety which no matter how many fire stations I place down, there’s no coverage. Even water and sewage is bugged, and my ports bring in almost no ships 🤷♂️ Even antennas for disaster coverage have a lack of range Do I need to restart my world or just leave it be?
After many years of thought and ideas, today is the day we break ground on the region of Vallascore. Vallascore is a fictional name inspired by the Stargate franchise. It is the location where the Ancients hid a powerful weapon. On our region, it is a location of nearly endless growth, industrial might and tourism.
Driving my idea is 6 years as a land surveyor around the Houston TX area and 16 years as a cross country trucker. I think my experience in a lot of ways can translate very well with my knowledge of highway design and an entire countries worth of experience dealing with well designed infrastructure and a lot of not so well designed. The main goal is to do it better to achieve a more cohesive environment for all of our cims, from the top singers and actors to the tent guy and his best four legged friend in the park. Harmony, is the ultimate goal.
The initial plan is:
I do plan on starting a series on twitch and youtube for the project. I am retired, so plenty of time to dedicate to it. My wife will be appearing as a guest advisor/designer. Happy building folks! Be on the lookout in the near future for the Valasscore: series launching February 2025, teasers starting the first week of February! Now, time to grab my tripod, prism prole and grade pole and start shooting the topo!
The year is 2036, and I boot up Cities: Skylines 2's newest DLC "Individual Blade of Grass Creator Pack" ($79.99). As my quantum PC's 256GB of RAM struggles to handle my 100k population city, I notice that my citizens are still using the same intersection despite having 47 alternative routes.
I open the road builder to fix traffic by adding my 156th bypass highway. The AI tells me it's "too curvy" despite being perfectly straight. I finally place it, only to realize all my cargo trucks now prefer to do a 720-degree loop through a residential area rather than use my new highway.
Checking my city's needs, I notice that despite having 400 crematoriums, bodies are piling up in a single house while every hearse in the city drives in circles around an empty park. Meanwhile, my entire industrial district has no workers because everyone has a PhD, but my university is empty because all the students are stuck in traffic.
I place down the new Ultra-Mega-Smart-Junction™ asset from the workshop, which immediately causes every vehicle in my city to merge into a single lane and drive through a kindergarten playground.
As garbage piles up in front of the garbage processing plant (staffed by 500 workers who all live next door), I realize my water system is somehow pumping sewage upstream against gravity. Before I can fix it, half my city dies from drinking poop water, while the other half is stuck in an eternal traffic jam trying to reach the hospital across the street.
As I watch my city collapse because one random building decided to spontaneously catch fire and every fire truck in the city is stuck trying to make a right turn, I realize the true cities were the skylines we lined along the way.
Ive managed to build my city to 200k and my sim rates are hovering between .4 and .7. This is making it impossible to play and I dont want to give up my cities, just when they start to get interesting. My PC Specs are:(i5-10400, GTX 1660 SUPER, 16GB RAM)
and it looks like my CPU is running at 100% the whole time. Is there a recommendation you guys have to give my computer a little more juice to keep chugging along till like 500k?

my coal industry cutting through a mountain
Been playing CS2 for about a year now. Most of my neighbourhoods look pretty good now, but the industrial areas always stick out like a sore thumb. I really have no idea what to do with them other than make basic grids.
Does anyone have advice or some pics they want to share? Thanks in advance!
Does anyone else watch the B1M? Because their latest video about Melbourne really got me thinking about the port in my city and how it connects with my freight and other rail networks, and how I'd design changes to make them feel more realistic. I feel like the B1M has such great inspirations for realistic but still insane things to put in your city
Anyone know what the fix is for this? Every time I load into my city there are grey boxes or other assets where I previously placed decals or boulders. It seems to happen randomly around the city. I delete the boxes/assets and, the next time I load in, they are back in different areas of the city. It seems to happen most often with the stain and tire mark decals, sometimes with the graffiti decals as well. I know R3d Koolaid on YouTube was having the same issue and mentioned that a couple of other Skylines YouTubers helped him get the issue fixed. Any suggestions? I've already confirmed my game files several times and I always wait until all of my mods have loaded on the load screen so I can check for any issues.
Trying to build an Eastern European city so I downloaded Vistula Valley map. The download stopped at 88% and wouldn’t let me stop it or open the game. Any restarts yielded the same results. I tried removing the map on Skyve but it still tries to download when I open the game. Any ways to fix this so I can actually open the game?
