I recently made a unoffical subreddit for a game and need tips on how to grow it.
I read on a thread that link exchange is a good way to promote your subreddit but that thread is archived. So help with this will be appreciated.
Welcome. After my efforts in looking for help to start my own subreddit here on Reddit, I acquired some experinece in Reddit sources for mod help. I was able to discover three things:
• The Reddit search engine is awful, and you will waste a lot of time.
• There are help subs here, but they are not easy to find for new users.
• New moderators need a database to find links for subreddit start ups.
So here is the idea. Let's hope a lot of people will join in order to create this database, for helping the mods who are trying to start a new subreddit. I am looking for anybody who can add links to the database. With our common efforts, mods will have all the help avaiable.
Post any useful link to other mod help subreddits from the listed categories on the sidebar.
