Just made a subreddit and it got instantly banned within an hour even tho I didn't break any rules. What can I do

My original ban is 6 years old, that account was 14 years old. I got a perma ban for saying "don't argue with the mentality disabled" "basically AI banning me. I'm trying to come back to Reddit and every account I make is banned. I've used vpns, different devices, Reddit appeals. I understand I just admitted to ban evasion but I shouldn't have even had to try that. No matter what I do I get no answers and the appeal option is just for show. What the fu** do I have to do to come back?

A friend of mine who is a user here was being stalked and harassed by another user and their friends. They abused the report button and he was unfairly banned! He tried to make alternative accounts, and once again they abused the report button. He tried to reason with them, and even begged them to stop, they mocked him and carried on regardless. He reported them for the hate and harassment and was told they broke no rules. He tried to appeal the ban and all appeals were rejected. They even resorted to photoshopping screenshots of private conversations to make others look bad. He is know sure he is IP banned. Please help. What can we do? He is a good guy, this is all over a difference of opinion, he has been mocked, bullied, harassed and stalked. Please help

I am new to reddit and it’s chat feels a-lot slow that other social media apps. Is this because of my phone? Or it is slow in general? I am using iPhone 14 Pro.

When I open a subreddit it goes to the "about" page instead of the "posts" page. Is there a setting where I can change that?

Just got this feedback on a report I submitted almost 3 weeks ago. After reporting dozens of posts, my reports are apparently being throttled. (Edit to add: When I first started reporting these types of posts, they would get taken down within hours. Then it starting take days. Now weeks.)

My reporting has been ~99% accurate, resulting in child predators being banned almost every time. How is throttling my reports helping to make Reddit safer? u/spez ???

It was from the porn studio FTVGirls and I did find the source as you can see. I don't think asking/posting something from a public porn studio should violate rule 3. Most of my account was providing sources or asking for source for an image I found elsewhere on reddit.

I don't think posting something from a porn studio should have got me banned. I also don't think I've posted something that hasn't been posted on reddit before since most of what I posted was asking for sources. Is providing sources (I usually don't do direct link, just name, title, and studio if available) for porn violating something, because I guess some of them are from onlyfans/amateurs, but they are also publicly available?

Hi, I recently lost my phone, got a a new one, re-downloaded Reddit and they gave me this random username.

I am unable to log out and sign in with my own username. This is the name associated with my phone number and email somehow. It makes no sense. When I verify with both phone number and email, it keeps it as this random username.

Even stranger, I found my old phone that had me logged in as my normal username. But now it’s logged in as some second other random username.

I don’t understand how to sign out and sign in with my account that I’ve had for years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The delay from the time you post a comment to when it actually shows up in the comments has grown ridiculous long

I have had Reddit for around 2 week now and I still don't know how karma points work. I have made posts before on reddit and have had upward votes but what do upward votes even do, do they make any difference? So, how do you even get karma points? And what is the difference between karma points and upwards votes?

why is Reddit like this they ban the innocent people but not the rude people?

I receive a ton of chat requests for roleplays and stuff, but when I try to ignore chat requests, their chat still appears on the message box. Is this happening to anyone else or is it a bug?

Just opens a new tab with that as the address and blank page, like it's not referring correctly. I started with all extensions disabled in Chrome 24.0.6367.60 (Official Build) (64-bit) Windows 10 and same result. Same thing in Firefox 124.0.2.
