I'm new to this whole "owning" a sub thing, and i set my sub as restricted because it's a controversial topic (Carnivore diet), and i know that the other sub on that subject are overrun by trolls.

But now, i see there's 12members on the sub, but i don't see who they are, and i can't approve them either???

Do i need to put my sub public. And if so, how can i prevent people from posting before the post has been approved?

Pls help me with the Godot engine community, they banned me, then I asked why banned me, then blocked me to a writing moderator, I criticized Twitter and YouTube Juan's Linecky, in a civilized way, for ambition to be better, without one harder word, then block me on Twitter ok I block him, then on Reddit im banned for something that is not godot project and that yes godot project, I don like revenge I won to stop doing this I don mention him anymore just engine, pls telling the moderator Tim of Godot engine to unbanned me, really when I see that I can believe, talk with moderator and that is it...I do know how much is the ban, long time is...

Girl with way too many facial piercings got bitchy with me over a magnet joke. I told her she's not as pretty or as important as she thinks she is. I get banned for "bullying".

Now I don't really care. It's hilarious to me. But what does piss me off is the message clearly states "if you have any questions about your ban you can ask the moderators by replying to this message" so I reply to the message and the response gets blocked and a pop up says I'm banned so I can't reply to the message.

Well what sense does that make?

I just want to ask the mod how big of a simp is he.

Those with thin skin shouldn't hold power.

Because I reported them and blocked them, Reddit has put me on warning for them soliciting $ for sex & selling memberships to their OF.

Hello! I’m Evelyn, a young adult looking for an at home side hustle I can do part time at home for extra income. I want to save up to go back to college but I owe my campus excess tuition which has stopped me from being able to re-enroll in classes. At my current full time job it is possible for me to save and still afford necessities but extra income would allow for more wiggle room and speed up the process. Any advice for getting into the field and turn it profitable? Thanks!

I got banned from r/Britain for not agreeing to all their pro Hamas posts.

If reddit allows these kind of bans then surely reddit will die out eventually as subreddits get taken over by moderators who don't respect the moderator code of conduct.

My comment was respectful, just stating my opinion as below. Yet the moderators PERMANENTLY banned me just because they have a different opinion.

"Israel is justified to defend itself against ISIS/Hamas and USA is right to support them. Humanity should win."

I feel very helpless at this point. I got myself in to this, made my bed and will sleep in it. No matter how many times I directed to a foo foo sub, I can't stand it or tough i need thicker skin. I can't. I have come to realize I swimming up stream and I can't swim. I just don't want to just delete my account, and I know this will not go to anyone. That's another thing about this app. Everyone is a stranger and no one to turn to or talk to. That drives me crazy. One thing that did break me of all this is something that was said to me. It said" it doesn't matter, none of this does. That woke me up to the fact that they are right. It doesn't matter. Whats coming can't be stopped. I can only summize us being told the truth about this is going to kill us. So why bait it on. Like everyone else I guess I'll find out when it happens. So I'm just going to quietly excuse myself and pray.

The mods on the Miami subreddit have decided in all their wisdom that being openly racist towards white Reddit users is not only acceptable but a good enough reason to ban white people who are victims of hate speech and racist vitriol. So many mods willing to permanently ban based on one post (no warnings, no appeals, no willing to view alternate interpretations).

So is your only recourse to downvote all posts on that sub? Seems the only way!

Reddit mods are not so clever, that's why they banned me just for saying that reddit users are not so clever and then muted me so I can't hurt his feelings any further :(

I am a 100% independent creator who has over the last 6 months put together a comic book, animated movie with a soundtrack that is starting to filter out a week Friday.

I thought it made perfect sense to post here to let people know of it's existence (it's free)

I join a group Comic books with soundtracks which I thought may be a good starting point.

I make one post which is frozen after less than an hour and when I look at my phone to see if there is any interest I find I am banned for life?

I have explained this to the moderator who banned me gracefully, however they are not budging and I am still banned for life?

I honestly thought that this could be a site I could use to meet some people who could be interested in this as that is what the forum is called?

I now feel that I may not return to this site.

I am flagging this up because it will put potential users off the site too.

There's a forum where you can't win. It's a so called bot because of my new account but telling someone that their craft work is fabulous???

I've noticed a trend towards posts being locked after perhaps 4-8 hours. IMO, it shows a misunderstanding of how reddit works. One of the things I like is that we can take our time considering a reply. I've seen threads last for a few days, still receiving worthy replies.

I posted on the fargo subreddit about how I felt Chris Rock was underwhelming and if anyone agreed. Mod claimed I was rage baiting. There were about 50 comments going, all civil with their opinions. No one was enraged. What the actual hell are some mods on? How does reddit allow unhinged ppl to moderate anything? #not-all-mods-but-alot

I have followed every rule. When I try to add a photo it comes up as not an option so I added one as a comment.

I know it’s spam because I get the same message all the time

Is this true? Do we get censored just by asking about the centralization of moderator power?
