Subreddits AMA is about creators and moderators of subreddits.

Welcome to Subreddit AMA

Qualifying and rules of submission for an AMA

If you are the creator or a moderator of any interesting subreddit, and are able to explain what the topic is about, you are qualified for an AMA here. The AMA's here can be only about subreddits. Everybody is welcome to submit.

Please submit a short post title, including the name of your subreddit and the nicknames of moderators who will be answering. Write in your OP a short description of what your subreddit is about. Add a link to your subreddit main page.

Downvoting is disabled for the OP's here, in order to protect minorities related subreddit submissions from disappearing fast. Comments voting is still enabled for those who are clearly interested in the topic of the submitted subs.

All AMA's are considered active for 24 hours by default, because Reddit userbase is obviously international, unless the authors will explicitly make clear for how long they can answer.

Requests are not avaiable for this particular AMA, because all the submitters are here on Reddit, and can be easily contacted.

[NSFW] Must be obviously used where required.

AMA means Ask Me Anything. The AMA brand was first introduced by /r/IAmA. It is a Q & A session, supported by those redditors who are willing to partecipate by asking questions.

I am the top moderator of the now-banned r/FBIOpenUp, AMA!

For those who don't know, r/FBIOpenUp was a subreddit about "illegal memes" and documentation of illegal activity. We were banned because someone posted CP that flew under our radar.

Our discord is at https://discord.gg/wV7wtdf in case you have private questions, wanna look for some quality memes, or just spam porn and/or copypastas into the no rules channel.

I am a mod of /r/AnyKindOfMusic, AMA

I started using /r/AnyKindOfMusic more after getting banned from /r/Music for being falsely categorized as a "known comment bot", which I take as an insult, seeing as I'm a fucking human, not a damn script bot! I wish users had more respect for people who have fun commenting weird comments.

I made r/enbiww. AMA!

r/enbiww is a subreddit for screenshots of posts that appear innocent enough, but there's some wholesomeness hidden in it.

I'm a mod at r/HomeworkCentral

I'm part of the moderation team at r/HomeworkCentral where redditors can find help with different tasks. We're 3 months old and we're currently looking for different skillsets across reddit to create a unified hub with a diverse pool of freelancers.

Our major concern was that most subreddits control reviews (since they're the owners) and feedback regarding a service. Reviews on these subreddits have the comments locked closing the room for scrutiny. This misleads one to choose the wrong service and they end up disappointed.

Instead, we chose a different subreddit (r/testimonials) for the purpose of leaving honest reviews that are open to scrutiny. One can go through a freelancer's portfolio (we're planning to include this in the sub) + reviews and make a definitive choice.

/r/oeCake - I mod this sub, for a fun and free physics game

You probably don't know what the heck OE-Cake is, or even care. But that's why I'm here, to show you what you are missing out on.
It's like a supercharged version of PowderToy or Phun, it used to be popular back in those days. When it came out in 2005 (I think) nobody really knew how to use it or how capable it really is, and it was slowly forgotten when everybody kept posting videos of the same stuff.

About a year ago I made a breakthrough in the game and discovered an incredibly important technique that allowed significantly more complicated creations to be made. Ever since then I've been learning how to make better creations and posting them whenever and wherever I can. I created the /r/oeCake subreddit to try and create a community again, but it's growth is slow and 95% of it's content was made by me.

I have also essentially taken over moderation of the website http://oecake.wikia.com (which by the way, is where you should go to download the game/learn how to use it, all other sources on the Internet are out of date), by cleaning up the front page and rewriting about 100 of the 120-ish articles the site had, as well as removing a few obsolete pages. When I found the site it had a daily population count of about 18 people per day, this last week it averaged 150 people per day. The busiest week in the site's history since about 2009 when OE-Cake used to be popular was a bit more than a month ago, when the site saw an amazing 2,300 people.

Here's some examples of things I've made, don't take it as me trying to show off. These are just ideas of what can be done:

You may have seen this one, it's a downvote gif I made that usually gets upvoted
You got...

A missile hitting a space ship
missile hitting space ship

I made this one because I was tired of all of my posts being downvoted in /r/gaming
Step aside, there's a new game on the front page

This is my most complicated machine yet, with over 100 individual pieces that took 3 hours to build
Steam Buggy

This is my most popular video yet with almost 10,000 views, it's the first level of Mario remade in the game
OE-Mario Cake!

And for the physicists among us, the game is quite capable of simulating real-life phenomena
Flow Tunnel

I have created what I affectionately refer to as the "OE-Cake Expansion Pack", which was made by sifting through my several hundred OE-Cake save files to find the most interesting ones. I ended up with 29 widely varying and unique creations that you can try, to demonstrate what the game can do.

I own and moderate /r/notitle, AMa

/r/notitle

My subreddit is, I hope, what /r/pics is supposed to be: a place to post pictures, not sob stories. All titles are just a set of brackets and users vote based on the picture, not the title. Right now, I have very few subscribers, but I really hope to change that soon, and maybe with your help, I can.

psycosulu from /r/gamemusic and /r/animemusic here, feel free to ask me anything.

A few years ago, liquidrain and I both made separate video game music subreddits. His succeeded while mine failed, he took me aboard to take care of the /r/gamemusic subreddit while he focused on his VG radio station (Rainwave). /r/gamemusic focuses on celebrating the music from video games that we grew up with and continue to love. Currently we're looking at hosting AMA from video game composers and remixers.

Eventually /r/gamemusic grew bigger and bigger so I decided to make /r/animemusic to represent music from anime. /u/GanymedeBlu35 mainly takes care of that subreddit now.

Hello this is ConsciousMusic here is Conspirologist answering your questions about our sub - AMA!

Hi. Some time ago the subreddit /r/ConsciousMusic was created here on Reddit. I am a mod there. Its purpose is very clear and simple, it is a place where to share music that has a positive message against everything that is negative in our society. You can share and find songs that keep you awake and fighting. As Bob Marley said - "Get up, stand up, stand up for your rights!".

Post your questions, and I will answer them as soon as I can in the next 24 hours.

It is the first AMA here, so it can be considered as a test check for all who are interested.

Godspeed to myself! :D
