Finally, we're first in the league at something. Using our top 11 most often. Point of the Allen's thread is that as bad as Cousins was (it was bad), we are probably very predictable using the same personnel more than any other team.

An easy film day when you're studying the Falcons, it seems. Is there a trust issue or a talent issue outside that top 11?

I've watched all of yalls games this year. Several things have stood out.

1. Up until last week the defense has been arse. No pass rush. Yall been in a lot of shootouts

2. Kirk was playing great until a couple of weeks ago. 15 TDS/6 ints. He's put up 2 bad games.

3. Kicking situation is a mess. Coo lost the Saints game. He was like 4 of his last 10 after that miss last week. 40%. Most NFL kickers are 80% or higher.

4. Yall have no identity on offense. Its like you're running 2 separate offenses. Run Run Pass dont work. Where are the screens, slants, etc? A lot of the recent problems on offense is scheme. Yall making it harder on yourselves not using easier passes to get the QB in rhythm.

5. Kirk isn't a statue. Have no idea why they have him just standing there. He's actually got some wheels. Yall should be running the offense from under center and rolling Kirk out. Then playaction off of it.

6. Yall have a great running game. That should be the focal point. Stop running these stupid sweeps though. They keep getting stuffed.

7. The offense should shrink. Meaning use quick short easy passes mixed in with a lot of north to south running.

8. Go uptempo. Kirk is usually deadly in these 2 minute drills because they go uptempo and the defense can't adjust. I would be doing it all game.

Even with arguably the worst game of Kirk's entire career last week yall were a missed Coo FG and a dropped pass from London at the end away from winning. I fully expect Kirk to turn it around. Dude had 171 TDs/55 ints with the Vikings. A couple of bad games don't tell the real story.

Could have had Bellichick and Bo Nix we passed on him in the draft lol... No.. Lets sign a 40 yard old rice noodle arm scarecrow named Kirk Cousins. Could have had Wilson who is thriving in Pitt for dirt cheap. Could have had Baker Mayfield and crippled the Bucs who can actually win playoff games and get his team to the playoffs. I hate this team.

Look I’m not gonna pretend to be happy with what we’ve produced from cousins, it’s very clearly his time to go(every old QB has one) but on the bright side We have two great wide receivers that can play at, what I think, is an elite level and it’s a nice change of pace from what it felt like after Julio regressed and left.

I know that we are all hoping for a significant turnaround in the coming weeks and dream of finishing 11 - 6 or 10 - 7. However, I can't help but think about how low our benchmark was coming into the season - winning record + (maybe) a playoff birth.

To me if we win 3 out of our next 5 and miss the playoffs we have still met those expectations. The team could still have a winning record, our turnover differential could be greatly improved, and we've created a team that can be run by Penix in the near future.

I'm aware that the benchmark is low, but after 6 seasons of winning 7 games or less I can't help but be at least partially satisfied with a winning record and a (mostly) competitive team. After all, we have to learn how to crawl before we walk.

Please do not cry about the team under this post we are just appreciating the bright spot that is Bijan. All Pro level year so far

He has been a below average to bad at drafting and is average at picking FA. He got Bates which has been great but who else? Our defense line is still awful... I don't know I just feel like we will get nowhere with him or Raheem.

A quick preamble - we all like Kirk. He is a nice guy. But he is at the place in his career, unfortunately, where his head says one thing and his arm says another. He sees throws that he should be able to make and he no longer can make them. We saw this with Matt Ryan at the end as well.

1. Offense is bottom of the mid tier - coming off a bye we had as much creativity as a bad HS team. Poor pass protection. Zero ability to convert 3rd and short - running sideways or getting stuffed. No play action passing at all. If we dont score 20 we have no shot.
2. Defense - Still bottom 5. Yeah, we got pressure but we also were being shredded by their rookie WR until he got hurt. And clearly Harbaugh saw that he would win on D and took zero chances save that moronic fake punt. This is a 5 win defense
3. Coach - getting worse each week. Team has gone backwards. Has no answers and shows piss poor leadership. Mostly just seems to stare at the TV.
4. GM - worst drafting GM in franchise history. Zero production from the draft. Chargers had 5th round guys making plays all over the field. And of course I wont get into Pitts (bust), Bijan (unnecessary) or Pennix (who knows...)

At this point I think we need to stick with Cousins until we are eliminated from the playoffs. We can still win the division, even at 8-9. But regardless of how the year ends it is time to start over with a new QB, coach, GM combo. We cant be out of sync on that - look at the Giants or Jets.

I see wins at home vs Giants and at Vegas. We lose at Minny and at Washington. Probably comes down to the final game vs. Carolina to finish 9-8 and make it via tiebreaker or 8-9 and lose outright to Tampa.

It’s March 1st, 2024. Your QB’s are Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke, you have a first year head coach promising improved QB play. You have the Falcon’s 2024 allotted draft capital and salary cap. What do you do - go!

Unfortunately we gonna lose our division spot by next week….. what now? Obviously Softy Morris isn’t going to bench Kirk cousins.

Even if we lose our division spot does our playoff chances go down the drain now or is there still hope??? Just want to know your guys final four upcoming game prediction?

That’s the year the Falcons last had a playoff appearance. Do you all realize how long that is? It’s actually pretty remarkable how inept this franchise has been for so long to not have even one decent year since then.

Good franchises don’t miss the playoffs for 7 years in a row.

I’ve been a fan since the Vick days and this team is by far the softest team I have seen and plays with almost no passion.
