POSTING GUIDELINES |
---|
(1) All news posts shall be a direct link from the source. They shall be sourced with author's name in brackets eg. " [Name of Reporter] 'Title of post/article'". Titles shall not be editorialized or misleading. All other posts should have clear and concise titles. |
(3) Memes are allowed 24/7, however the moderators have the discretion to remove "low effort" memes. This could be low resolution memes, reposted memes, or for any other reason. If you believe your meme was not low effort and was removed, please contact the moderators. High Quality Gifs are an exception to this rule, due to them being high quality by default. |
(4) "Facebook" type posts are only allowed as individual posts from Friday to Gametime. This includes pictures of merchandise, pictures of yourself in Chiefs gear, pictures of dogs in Chiefs gear, and things of that nature. During the week these are only allowed in the Daily Discussion posts. |
(5) "X fan here" posts are not allowed. If you want to say something to Chiefs fans, do so in post game threads or the daily discussion threads. |
(6) No unauthorized giveaways. As much as we all would love free tickets, it is impossible to verify the authenticity and follow-through of any transaction. If you have a compelling reason why your giveaway should be allowed, please reach out to the mods first for approval. |
(7) Do not spam your own website/blog or sell merch without prior mod approval. Selling tickets to games is not allowed. |
(8) There are many places on Reddit for political discussions. This subreddit isn't one of them. |
(9) Crossposts from other NFL team subreddits are not permitted. Crossposts from non-NFL subreddits are allowed. |
(10) Posts from Twitter/X should be submitted as a cropped screenshot with the [Author Name] in brackets and full and/or accurate headline/tweet that correctly reflects the content- i.e. [Adam Schefter] Patrick Mahomes has signed a new $500 million dollar contact. |
Screenshots should NOT be edited or doctored in any way and are subject to mod verification. Altered news screenshots or any actions taken to create intentional misinformation will be met with a permanent ban. Highlights and videos from Twitter/X should be submitted as direct uploads or posted from an alternative source such as YouTube.

Honestly I love this community. You helped me the past month and a half with all the love and support that I got from the incident on November in bufflo. Everyone of you I love you ❤️ and I am proud to be part of it all! Thank you 🙏 and I am sending nothing but great vibes to every single one of you! If you ever need an ear 👂 anytime 24/7.. least I can do for what chiefs kingdom as done for me!
LETS GET THAT 3 PEAT YERTIE!!!!!!
I haven't followed the injury reports of other teams going into the Super Bowl in the past, but this seems like an abnormal number of high skilled starters to hold out of practice the entire week. I guess they are treating last week as a bye week for some of their starters, but seems odd to me. Is there precedent for this in the SB era?
It’s so corporate and so bland. They love to grey out the Super Bowl logo which is actually getting nice again. I had hope for the opening night collection but that stinks too. I waited my whole life for the Chiefs to be in these games and I just feel like all the merchandise is very underwhelming. Is it just me?
Also, look how good Mahomes is at evading sacks
Since we are nearing another Super Bowl with Chiefs involved, do any of you do anything special for Super Bowl Sunday?
Wings? Pizza? Alcohol? Party? All of the above?
Personally, I think I’m just going to keep it simple this year, and enjoy some pizza and a few snacks.
GO CHIEFS!
The Myles Garrett situation got me pondering: what truly motivates players? For example, maybe it's money over rings, and (to my knowledge) we've never heard any player openly admit it, simply because it's taboo and they'd be viewed as a terrible teammate. Obviously NFL players care about "all of the above", but the specific question is this:
What is the NUMBER 1 motivation for players (on average) across the entire league? In other words, if they had to pick only 1, which would it be?
My guess is money, but I'm curious what others think.
My parents and I want to watch the Chiefs play in the Super Bowl in KC at a watch party. We reserved a table at Double Tap, the VR bar. I see they had a watch party for the divisional round and AFC championship game. Wondering what the experience was like for those that went and what to expect with our “private table”. Any insight is appreciated!
Talk about the Chiefs, football in general, or whatever else you want.

Should be a great game, make sure y'all are getting to and from your celebrations safely 🍻
Down for some fun bets in the comments if anyone's interested
Gotta love the KC offense, but nothing gets me more riled up than one of these guys making a play.
I just want to tell my story somewhere. It is perhaps nontraditional but i hope that this is okay to post here. I consider myself a fan of the Chiefs. Have I jumped on a bandwagon? Probably. But given how much there is fatigue of the Chiefs winning and people view them as villains in hope that you all can accept that I am with you. I must disclose am from the Seattle area so I will admit that I love the Seahawks just as much. I am just as happy, if not more so to root for the Kansas City Chiefs as they are poised to make history. Here's how that all started.
In the summer of 2022 I traveled to Las Vegas for the first time. I visited a sports book and made a few bets. One on the Seahawks to make the Superbowl (wishful thinking). One on my beloved Mariners to make the World Series. (Extreme wishful thinking). And then I thought about another bet. I didn't pay much attention to football at the time. I did know that the LA Rams had won the most recent Superbowl. I also knew the Chiefs had won the one before that. And betting on the Chiefs gave me a 9/1 odds so I would get a decent return if they won and I thought they have to be somewhat good if they won a recent Superbowl. So I put 10 dollars on the Chiefs winning the Superbowl and thought little of it at the time. This was when I started to get into watching football and I rooted for the Seahawks who got into the playoffs that year but lost the first round. I didn't want the fun of rooting for my team to end and I rememered my bet. The Chiefs of course were still in the playoffs. So I started watching them and rooting for them. (As a diehard Seattle Mariners fan is was fun rooting for a sports team that knew how to win for a change). I watched and they won. And they won the Superbowl. I went to Vegas the next year and collected my $90. And I am still a fan. I was happy to root for the Chiefs from that alone. But then something else happened. I am also a Swiftie. I am a guy but I do love Taylor Swift. When she started dating Travis Kelce it definitely made me even more excited to root for the Chiefs. That Superbowl against the 49ers was rough for people in my area. There was some fatigue of Chiefs winning everything but San Francisco is our biggest rival. I was quite happy though. I watched that game wearing my Red (Taylor's Version) sweater and got a couple compliments on it which was super nice.
Honestly I am just super excited for the Chiefs. I want them to make history and go for the threepeat. No matter what I am still a fan. There will always be a spot in my heart for the team and what they are doing. Thank you for reading this, I just wanted to say this stuff somewhere. I am looking forward to next Sunday and rooting for this team that I adopted in a weird and quirky way but has made an impact on me. Let's go Chiefs!
Some local KC musicians (us) threw together a few hype tracks this weekend, just for fun, no big budgets or labels—just some Chiefs fans making music for Chiefs fans.
Would love to hear what you think. Got a favorite? Does one of these tracks fit a certain moment from this season? If you’re making a Super Bowl hype video, feel free to use ‘em.
