Hi, I am seeking recommendations for a reliable autoshop near midtown ATL for a performance brake pad & fluid replacement on my 2015 BMW M4. I prioritize safety, so top-notch work is a must. Preferably not the BMW dealer due to their crazy high prices. Any local suggestions?
I’ve seen pottery classes and such that are multi-week and teach a few skills, that include some pottery wheel time outside class, and usually have somewhat of a project in mind. I was wondering if there was something like a shop class for woodworking where over a few weeks I could learn a few skills and then have a project created? I have some woodworking skills, enough that I’ve thought about a maker space, but I think currently my skill level would benefit a lot more from a structured and somewhat timed class as opposed to just trying to start making things with little to no supervision. Thanks!
Has anyone been to the Gwinnett Multicultural Festival before? And if so, what was your experience like? I'm thinking about going but I'm not sure what to expect in terms of crowds, activities, food, and the overall vibe. Thanks!

It could be weekend only or specific times I’m just curious
Sup NYK fans. Any Knicks bar in the area? Thanks!
A real long shot, but I just figured I’d ask. Do you/does anyone you know speak Catalan/Valencian?? Been on that Duolingo/etc. grind for about a year and a half now and I’m getting to the point where I should really start actually talking. Are there any expat groups/meetups/native speakers who’d want to grab a cafè amb llet (or the local equivalent) and chat? Obviously there are online tools for this but I really prefer just talking in person over those…also don’t worry, I already speak Spanish lol
Anyone know of one? There was one at Plaza Fiesta but it shut. Looking for something cheap as my shoes are not fancy. Need some new heels, glue the sole, and polish. The usual places are quoting $50 per pair. I didn't even spend that much on the shoes.
I am looking for the best street tacos in Atlanta. Where do you go? And by street tacos I mean any meat with cilantro and onions.
Looking for recommendations on hair salons or hairstylists who do wolf cuts. I don’t see many wolf cuts and want to make sure I’m happy with my cut because I’m pretty picky on my hair.
All recommendations appreciated. TiA
I am buying alcohol for an event of about 60 people- where should I buy it for best prices? I am told Costco and Aldi have good offerings. Hopefully, a place that allows you to return unopened alcohol. Also, your favorite flavors of Aldi/Costco etc budget friendly flavors!

I'm heading down to Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Gwinnett County, Georgia on Wednesday to possibly buy a car. I was wondering if someone had a good recommendation for a place to take it for an inspection if everything goes well. Thanks.
I've been considering stand up comedy classes for a while, but unsure who is the best choice. The investment is $450-$600, so I want to choose wisely.
I know of the ones at Laughing Skull, Jeff Justice Comedy Workshop (The Punchline), Laugh Factory by Lace Larabee, and Dad's Garage offers them from time to time. Anyone completed one of these and what was your experience?
Hi all! Any suggestions on the best coffee shop locations that serve a really good chai latte? I know Refuge coffee offers this but curious if there are any other local options?
Tired of paying $20 an hour for pool
Looking to have it done for myself but wanted to see if anyone here has had any experience first hand with any ophthalmologist who perform the procedure here in the Atlanta area.
I need someone to remove my beaded weft sew ins. (Two rows of Bellami volume wefts). My stylist will charge me $500 per row for removal. I’m looking to someone experienced, but affordable to remove these wefts!

I have seen people tubing on the Chattahoochee getting out of the river at the Paces Mill Boat Ramp in the National Park (Recreation Area?) off Hwy 41 (South of Cumberland Mall).
where are those people putting in at? I traced back along the river and I didn't see another obvious park/boat ramp with a convenient parking area that was a reasonable distance upstream.
Does anyone know of a place that has old arcade games like Skeeball, Galaga, and so on?
I believe I have a leak between the meter and the house. I have checked and it is my responsibility, not the city. I live in midtown and have never hired a plumber before. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Anyone know of any piano teachers who can teach in home lessons around Midtown?
Picking the piano up as an adult, didn’t get to learn as a kid and I could use some direction and help
We've got about 10 oak trees in our yard, and we're looking to have ~2 or so of them removed sometime this year. The trees are massive and appear very healthy. I dabble in woodworking, and I really do not want the wood to go to waste.
I'm looking for any recommendations or general ideas on how to go about this. I think my plan is to try to keep the main trunks, then quickly hiring someone with a portable saw mill so I can start letting them dry to use myself in a few years.
I'm not sure how practical that is, so if this isn't something I can easily do, are there any local services that will take the logs to use themselves? Either way, this would be more wood than I'd ever use, so I'd love to find a good place to donate a large potion of it if possible.
Any thoughts/recommendations/previous experiences are greatly appreciated, thanks!
